I HATE mosquitoes. They cause illness and horrible unbearable skin reactions to our entire family. Backyard patrol is an Awesome company with a great product. We used a different company in the past and switched because we still experienced breakthrough mosquitoes. I couldn't stand paying for a spray service while still acting as a meal to these nasty bugs. We hired Backyard Patrol and were able to enjoy the backyard over the summer without getting decimated by mosquitoes & ticks. Not sure what formula they use but it works well. A Very reliable service. Emails communications are fantastic! Customer service is awesome, very responsive. After rain, there were breakthrough events but not bad at all and they would show up right after to spray us down. I believe the key is regular and early initiation of service to combat the problem. I don't care if other critters are taken as well, a reduction in fire flies for instance. but we enjoy fire fly watching from one home down. A very small sacrifice IMO for the health and safety of my family. It's worth it to me. Mosquitoes and ticks are frightening vectors for deadly diseases and in these crazy uncertain times of pandemic, I won't risk our well being. If you pay in full you get a good discount. We've used Backyard Bug Patrol for mosquito treatment in our yard for the last three years, and we have loved the service and the huge impact it's made on our yard's usability throughout even the most mosquito-ridden summer months in Arlington. We still get bites on occasion, especially right before our next scheduled service, but it's 1000 times better than it was before. I am a mosquito magnet and before we started treatment I was consistently covered in bites from early May to late October--often getting 5+ bites within only a few minutes of being outside. Every time. Now I only get about 5 bites the whole season. The difference is amazing, and we are very happy with the company's service overall. It's definitely worth the very reasonable charge for seasonal service every year. We plan to continue next year for sure. read more

After I completed the questionnaire on Yelp regarding my inquiry, which clearly stated I was unsure which pest to reference. Someone from Backyard Bug Patrol contacted me via email and restated the same question about the type of pest. Next, I received an email stating "Thanks for the interest but we do not provide inspections only. We do them as part of monthly or quarterly service." I used Back Yard Bug Patrol last year and I did not have any issues with mosquitoes like I did the year prior. This year I did not start the service and by the middle of the summer I was getting eat up. I called the company and spoke with Greg, and they started treating my yard again. After one treatment I noticed the mosquitoes were gone. I can't say enough for this company. Great Customer Service! This stuff really does work and I have found the company to be very fair and responsive. The technician who does my yard is a wonderful young man and very polite. You can tell he takes pride in his work and he's very thorough. I would highly recommend this company if you have a mosquito problem. Backyard Bug Patrol works - no mosquitos for at least 2 weeks with the organic treatment! Also they are very nice and responsive. Patrick, the manager, was super helpful. One suggestion - please state PROMINENTLY on your website that the treatment (both organic and non-organic) kills ALL insects indiscriminately. It does not only kill mosquitos and ticks, but also beneficial insects such as bees, ladybugs, butterflies etc. Backyard Bug Patrol was very upfront about this when asked, but I don't think I would have purchased the deal if I had known - even though it was wonderful to be able to hang out in the yard without being eaten by mosquitos. read more

Last year I purchased a Living Social voucher for their organic spray service. Even though it was only one spray, I was able to sit outside unmolested by those little bloodsuckers for over three weeks. I love being outside after spending days in a cubicle farm. I have a terrible problem with the Asian Tiger Mosquitos which are day biters. Even though I diligently dump all standing water in everything and put mosquito dunks in my fountains, I still can't get rid of them (I think they breed in the gutters). This year I purchased their season plan. I weighed the pros which are no ticks on my cats and being able to sit outside without being a blood donor and the big con which is the spray kills all bugs, including bees, butterfly's, etc. as another reviewer pointed out. I figured I would see how this whole season goes and recently received my first spray. Their customer service is great, I talked to Patrick and he was very helpful. read more

Great service. Christian comes to our home and always has a smile. He goes the extra mile to address the areas I am concerned about in the yard. We live in Mount Vernon and there is a long storm drain in the community which always has standing water after rains. Now with the treatment from Backyard Bugs we are able to enjoy our outdoor patio and yard. Excellent service! It's so refreshing to have a service oriented company keep in touch the way Backyard Bug Patrol does. They email when they will service your house or when the weather will dictate that a service needs to be delayed. It makes it really nice in that we aren't having to constantly call in for information. We are ecstatic that we have spent so much time outside on our deck this year! We never expected to get the great results of zero mosquitoes especially since our deck sits in about 1/2 acre of forest. It's unbelievable! Used these guys in 2016 and didn't have any pests bothering us on our patio or any ticks trying to latch on to our pups. Price is pretty competitive compared to local competition and they're pet safe solution just needs to dry for 30 mins before pets can play in the yard. I just wish they called us back this year to reschedule because, up until this review, I forgot what they're company name was and was too lazy to research it -_- I got bit by a mosquito yesterday pruning a tree in the back yard. This is our third season with Backyard Bug Patrol. Our property is located near a creek and pond, so the mosquitoes can be terrible. Me and a couple of my kids are allergic, and would swell up after each bite. But after a couple of sprays, we could enjoy our backyard again! I renewed my service with BBP because of the great service and quality of their product. It worst great!! We have a big back yard with a lot of trees and vegetation so i researched for a company with good reviews. Last year, we had no mosquitos, no ticks or bugs. Also, we like to bbq and be outside and it was really nice not having to worry about bugs! The company comes every 3 weeks and treats the whole area and once it dries out, you can let your dogs outside, especially because I have small dogs that need to go outside frequently. These guys are great, I'm nearing the end of my second year with them and I'm very satisfied. They have great communication via email to let me know when they're coming out, when they sprayed, and if they'll be delayed by rain. I'm so glad i took a chance on the ad mailer for Backyard Bug! We were desperate. We couldn't sit outside for ten minutes without fleeing indoors. This will be our 3rd year with BBP. We can sit on the patio the same day as the yard treatment without dousing in chemicals to avoid those terrible Asian tiger mosquitoes. My dogs and cats haven't had any ticks. Our birds, bees, and butterflies are happy. In spite of the organic treatments, we have plenty of both just no mosquitoes. Worth every cent! Patrick is great to deal with as well. read more
