Great spot to have some drinks and snacks (or dinner!) near the water in Barceloneta. My friend and I stopped by around 10:30 on a Saturday night and it was hoping. It was mostly full, but we grabbed the last open outdoor table. The decor inside is a bunch of cured jamon hanging from the ceiling, which surprisingly looked quite nice. We each started out with a drink - sangria for me (4.30€) and an aperol spritz for him (5.75€). Neither of us were super hungry, so we ordered a couple items to share. The nice thing about the menu here is that everything comes in tapas size, so you can order a little or a lot of food depending on your hunger level. We tried: Cod croquette (1.90€ for one) Steak croquette (2.40€ for one) Zamburina / mini scallops (2.40€ for one) Morcilla granada / blood sausage (7.70€) Reserve ham from Seron (7.75€) Pan con tomate (2.20€) Jamon is definitely the way to go here, with all the ham they have hanging from the ceiling. Overall everything was good other than the blood sausage, which I personally thought had too much onion.

[Food] - Scallops: Fresh and delicious! Love how they cooked it with a yummy garlic butter sauce. 1 piece per order so had to get another one! - Oysters: 1 piece per order. Pretty decent as oyster goes, no complaints here. - Steamed clams: Surprising but there was no sand in any of the clams! I could eat this every meal if I could. Fresh and cooked to perfection. - Pastrami Sandwich: My friend was craving a sandwich but I would pass on this. It was a bit too dry and mediocre. - Steamed Mussels: I think these were cooked in some tomato wine sauce as the sauce was irresistible. I finished this dish down to the sauce! [Service] - Line up and the waiter will seat you once there's a table open and will hand you a paper menu. Mark what you want to eat and hand it back to the server. - Fast, helpful, attentive [Ambiance] - Bit on the small side; Half indoor, half outdoors - If you plan to order a lot, you might want to hold off until you get a table as there isn't much space. Some of their tables are large barrels so it was a bit difficult to sit around it. [Overall] - Would come again! One of the best seafood places I've been to in Spain during my 2023 visit!

Found it by luck, and man am I glad I did. The food is reasonably priced. But he flavor is ridiculous! 10/10 servers were great and we didn't have to wait too long !

The tapas here were great! We enjoyed everything we ordered. There was a line when we got here but the wait was not bad.

The best foie gras I've ever had

I could not recommend this place enough. Seafood is so fresh and the tapas are delicious. Recommend ordering the grilled prawns, scallops, cockles, clams, and FOIE GRAS!!! Hands down the best foie gras I've ever had. Both red and cava sangria are tasty and cheap too. I would visit this place over and over again.

Found this place while walking around the streets, super low key but still very busy! We only order a few bites but the seafood was extremely fresh! Razor clams: seriously amazing, not over cooked at all! Grilled prawns: sooo good, the heads were my favorite part Pan con tomate: I felt like there was slightly more bread that I would like. But still really good!

Man, oh man. Coming into Barcelona after a long morning of travel, I was on the hunt for good tapas. Just around the block from my hotel, this airy joint has a huge range of bites for a great price. I sat down at the counter and went with ham & potato croquettes, patatas bravas, morcilla, and pa amb tomaquet along with half a litre of sangria. All of the dishes were excellent: the croquettes were pleasantly salty (and surprisingly ungreasy), the patatas bravas crispy and covered in garlicky aioli and a spicy paprika sauce, the pa amb tomaquet (grilled bread with tomato and olive oil) light and nicely chewy, and the morcilla (a blood sausage with onion) crispy and with a burst of smoked paprika. All the better washed down with the fruity sangria (€2,50 for half a litre!) Highly recommend if near Port Vell

Such a nice little tapa right around the corner of our hotel. We actually came here wanting to go somewhere else and were a bit lost on our way back looking for a restaurant. We saw this little tapa on the side and heard the music and ambiance and saw a jam packed place and said this has to be good so we decided to give it a try. The ambiance was great! Good low music playing in the background while the customers were chatting away. Some of the tables were wine barrels with high chairs and my favorite, there was ham hanging all over the place, typical in Spain. We enjoyed some wine about 4 glasses between two of us and decided to give the grilled octopus a try. Amazing!!! Made in the grill and severed with patatas(potatoes), the protein was so tasty and tender but not to chewy. It was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of spice and the patatas really put a button on the dish. We were tapa hopping so didn't order more, but we would have. I definitely will come back if in Barcelona.

    Love the ambience

The foie gras was absolutely unforgettable--rich, delicate, and simply to die for. The sangria was equally exceptional, fresh, balanced, and dangerously delicious. The sangria was delicious, refreshing, and made to order. It was definitely more authentic than what we're getting in America. We ordered the patatas bravas, tempura asparagus, the octopus, and the steak. It all came out as it became available. We couldn't decide what our favorite was, to be honest. We ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert and quickly requested our bill. We didn't want to hold the staff up as we noticed they were cleaning the establishment and people were finishing up. Overall, what a great experience for our first meal in Barcelona! Cute and hidden gem.
