My Audi maintenance plan was up and I no longer was able to purchase an extension due to the age of my Q7 despite having less than 60k in mileage. Was I glad to have found a local (non-dealer) honest shop that work on Audis. I had taken my Q7 here to have an oil leak repaired and break pads replaced. Right before the work is performed, a detailed explanation both verbal and visual (they take you to the back where your car is at) on the scope of the service. They also show you the parts replaced and would even hand them over to you in case you wanted them as souvenirs. There was no pressure on getting work done on my Q7. Typically a dealer would insist to have break pads replaced once they hit the "red" area, however Rich recommended to wait the sensor on the dashboard to light up, which means that brakes are up for replacement. read more
