What keeps me coming back is the attention to my personal level of comfort, the long term effects of the massages I have received, and exceptionally reasonable prices Armond and his team offers. No, I haven't made many posts at the point I am writing this review, but I will say that the few I have written have been for places who DESERVE to be praised! As honesty is the best policy, I have to express how nervous I was going into my massage as I had never had a male therapist before. It didn't take long for me to realize that Armond was (and is) respectful and dutiful when it comes to my personal comfort. I came in for a Swedish, but he quickly noticed that my level of habitual tension, it made more sense to use Deep Tissue technique on me and I can't thank him enough for making me see the light. I quickly used up my Groupon and brought a second only to realize that I didn't need to wait around for a "deal" to continue seeing him as his prices are VERY reasonable for the services you receive. Came in tonight with an Amazon Local deal and received an AMAZING massage from Armond. He did a combination of swedish and deep tissue and managed to work through all the tight areas I circled on my customer info sheet. I fully expected that I would need a couple sessions to work through some of my tight spots. While I have all intention of coming back soon I was surprised to feel as light as I did when I walked out. His style of massage is intense in the best possible sense of the word - fluid Swedish massage motions with enough depth to actually release muscles. Definitely 5 stars for the massage. Booking was very easy. Jennifer did the booking and she was very friendly and helpful (think she might also do facials). While I filled out my form Jennifer brought me some soothing Aveda tea to sip on. The room was nice enough and I liked that the massage table had an indent to accommodate breasts (yay for women-aware massage tables!). The music wasn't to my liking but when massages are this good and the people are nice those details matter less. I also appreciated that this is a small family-owned business.Yesterday I'd noticed the 3 massage deal on groupon and thought of getting it for my mom. Not anymore. Deals from Amazon, Groupon, LS etc. can be both good and VERY bad for small businesses. So, when I tell friends and family about this place I will encourage them to get a deal directly through PerfecTouch. And I gotta say I hope people who come in with deals are leaving some damned good tips or at the very least some decent ones (for massages under $30 I'd say $20 is fair). Ada is incredible!! I've had a lot of massages but she gave a whole new meaning to deep tissue. I didn't even feel soreness on my legs and she dug so deep and found lots of stiffness and worked on my muscles. I got a groupon to PerfecTouch, I think it was 3 massages for $99. The massages were ok, not bad but nothing to write home about. I didn't really like the atmosphere. I never thought atmosphere of a massage place mattered to me, until now. They have loud ticking clocks in all of the rooms, which isn't exactly relaxing. The tables are not very comfortable, they are definitely the ones designed for folding and portability. It was always cold when i went, and they didn't have blankets or nice sheets. Also, they have those colored rope lights running around the ceiling, and it's kind of tacky. I've been suffering from serious neck and back pain for a solid week now and after seeing the doctor, I was told to visit a massage therapist. I called perfect touch (due to all of the five-star reviews for Eva) and Eva was available for a same day appointment. She offered a great pricing package and the time that was convenient for me. She spent a thorough hour on my back and neck area. I did not feel immediate relief but today (the next day) I feel 10 times better. She worked out the knots in my neck and back and I feel so much better and less in pain. Before, I was unable to even get out of the bed without experiencing pain but this morning I was able to get up on my own with ease. The only thing I would recommend is that perfect touch get softer paper towels for the area where you put your face down. The paper towels were kind of rough. Nice lady took me in in clean and nice room right away. Her name is Arevik. She calls herself Ada. She is professional massage therapist. She suggested that I should try combo massage. The people were nice but the massage was not very good. I was asked if I had problem areas and I said "Don't touch my lower legs, I have lots of pain there but I would like you to focus on my lower back". I thought that was pretty clear. She spent most of the time on my lower legs until I cried out in pain. She did little to my lower back. She did nothing to my feet, hands or scalp. These are some of my favorites body parts for a massage. I left feeling worse that when I went in for the massage. I am still aching in my lower legs 9 hours later. The massage was very rudimentary and superficial; the massage therapist's touch was so light that I barely felt anything at all. I didn't even feel relaxed -- just irritated that my instructions were completely ignored. There was no peaceful and relaxing music, as there is in other massage places.
