As a busy working mom, Armond has been SUCH a gift. I go once or twice a month, and I've been seeing him for 3-4 years now, including throughout my pregnancy. He has made an incredible difference in my life! He's incredibly skilled but also so intuitive, he somehow always knows exactly where the problem spots are and exactly how much pressure to use. You know how sometimes you can't truly relax because you are busy giving instructions or it just doesn't feel quite right? Armond is the complete opposite of that. I've been seeing Armond at PerfecTouch at least once a month since 2017. Due to a past injury, I have a reverse curvature in my neck. It's not serious enough for surgery, but I experience constant soreness in my neck and shoulders and numbness in my lower extremities without physical therapy and regular upkeep. I travel often for work, which I enjoy, but unfortunately, long flights and hotel beds are no good for my symptoms. It's hard to find a masseuse who can really feel the parts of your body that need attention and knows how to alleviate pain, but Armond is all that and more. Additionally, Armond is a true professional. When he found out my wife was in early pregnancy, he refused to give her a massage until it was safe to do so again. He really cares for his customers! A great massage is always nice to have, but it's a critical part of my health routine. The hardest part was making an appointment and finding availability. Maybe they're super busy, maybe not but once the appointment was confirmed it was smooth sailing. First time trying hot stone, the stones are a bit hot at first but after a few seconds you get used it. No frills experience. My boyfriend had bought me a Groupon for a hot stone deep tissue massage after traveling for two weeks straight for work and I had started having horrible back pains in the mornings as soon as I woke up. I wanted to make an appointment as soon as possible, but on a Friday, the soonest appointment they had that fit my schedule was Wednesday of the next week. However, Armond called me back about 30 minutes later letting me know that someone had cancelled that afternoon and I could take that slot if I was available. I happily accepted and could not wait. When I arrived on a Friday afternoon, there was plenty of parking. It's in a small shopping center right off Glenoaks. Armond was the only person there and I typically ask for a woman to do my massage but I was desperate and in pain. Before getting undressed, Armond asked me if I was having any issues with my back that I would like for him to focus on. I let him know about the back pain and where I was feeling it. Throughout my massage, Armond was professional and talked me through what he was doing and why I was experiencing that pain. I made changes to my workspace after Armond informed me that I was sitting for too long at work and not moving around enough. They offer packages where you can purchase 3 or 5 massages as a package which comes out a bit cheaper versus buying one massage at a time. Total rip off!! I paid for 60 minute couples massage and they only spent 30 minutes. My appointment was at 5pm and I arrived 15 mins prior. The lady at the front desk took our groupon and probably took a good 5 mins to claim my voucher. Afterwards, they offered water and by the time we got in the room and undress, it was probably around 5:05 - 5:10. When they told us that they were done and to dress, I knew something was odd and it wasn't a full 60 mins. As I got dressed, I looked at my phone and it said 5:45pm!!!! They only did 30 mins!! I called just a few minutes go and spoke to some male receptionist. He was rude and saying that I was lying and that I came in late and I should have said something. Regardless if I did come in late, my appt was at 5pm which means the massage should have ended at 6pm. But it ended at 5:45pm. See picture of my Groupon for proof. Why would it be my responsibility to check the clock to see if I received the full 60 mins. I'm there to relax and not to worry. I guess I should have gotten up, naked, run out the room and say "hey lady, you need to come back and finish up 15mins?" That's my mistake for not doing that. I have been coming here for 3 years! Without a doubt, Armond gives the best massages and I always leave feeling relaxed and reset. I'm a dancer and personal trainer, so my muscles are always so tense with knots. I just tell him where I'm feeling the most tightness or pain, and I leave with all of it fixed. I started just with the 60 minute hot stone and deep tissue, and now I get the 90 minute hot stone and deep tissue massage every time. Terrible, unprofessional massage. Male masseuse was inexperienced. Room is filled with plastic massage tools like you would use at home. He used these instead of massaging with his hands which resulted in a pointy, uncomfortable massage. There was no flow or consistency, he would jump from one random spot to the next.
