I don't know what giving birth, having my finger nails pulled from my fingers, forced amputation of body parts or being lit on fire feel like...but I know what a Thai massage feels like. It feels worse. Everytime I thought I would actually feel a massage, the torture got worse. Everytime they started on new body parts, the torture got worse. Asking for less pressure or any expression of pain resulted in worse pain. I can't give this one star because it might be the greatest Thai massage in the world, but I wouldn't know it because it was my first Thai massage. I also can't give this more than three stars because it's just pain. An hour of endurance of pain on pressure points, spines, joints, muscles and the grinding of elbows on bones. God help you if they find a knot, because they will not stop attacking it, without any mercy, until they get that knot or you fall off the table with seizures. But the hot rocks felt really nice. Until they started the Thai massage again. Then the rocks came crashing down on the floor, along with my hopes of relaxation and tranquility. The horror and pain returned with a vengeance, this time on my legs. Then my hands. And then they remembered the knot in my shoulder, and for the 4th time, they attacked it, like my knot was Poland in 1939 and they were the German Wehrmacht, bent on deadly merciless conquest. In conclusion Thai massages are not for me.
