Poor service. Optometrists barely have their degree or any relevant training. They overcharge you. Avoid at all costs

This place tested my patience from the start but I'll spare you the annoying details just know it was a Waste of time, difficult to get an appointment, front desk is disorganized and lack professionalism. Off I go with a new prescription that took 2 weeks to receive. SMH After posting my review I received a call from doctor Vicki. I appreciate her taking the time to talk to me one and one and acknowledging where the staff went wrong. She is not a bad doctor, she actually was able to update my prescription and I am able to see very well from the updated prescription she provided. read more

Came here with my sister to look at their selection of designer frames since they had really good reviews. The 5 stars is definitely warranted. The staff was really friendly and helpful as we looked at the frames, and were really enthusiastic about letting us try on glasses and answering any questions we had. They were very patient too, which is always appreciated. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything, we told them we were just looking but they still engaged with us cheerfully. The office was very clean and inviting. We ended up walking out of there with some nice Prada eyeglasses that were just too cute to pass up. read more

Been there numerous times over multiple years for finding frames, eye exams, or getting e.g. frames for sunglasses I got from elsewhere changed to be corrective. Staff is always friendly and quick, I believe the exams are thorough & well done, and the frames selection isn't the biggest I've ever seen (compared to e.g. some of the massive stores in some cities) but big enough to make me happy. I brought my one-of-a-kind (and very expensive) Lindbergs in to get them adjusted. The person who worked on them completely messed up the temples. She straightened the natural curve out of them which ended up really messing up the look and fit. I never asked her to straighten them. The curve of the temples is a design feature of the glasses and lends to the look of the frames. I mentioned that the nose pads were pushed out a bit and was hoping that she could fix that, primarily. One of the temples is now bent in a very weird way and doesn't fit over my ear anymore. The other side curves out instead of in. She blamed it on the titanium frames, but I question that. I've had glasses for 30 years and have never experienced anything like this from anyone adjusting my glasses. I won't be going back here for adjustments or for future eye appointments. read more

Very helpful staff! They helped us search for a suitable frame + insurance information. I like how they don't really force a product on you just to make sales but help you as much as possible on every product so you purchase the best they have for you. A lot of good brands to choose from too. The doctor is good as well. Helped us with ALL our questions and very patiently let me figure out the exact lenses I should get! I needed urgent care as my eye was irritated and watery. I called a couple of Optometrist for an appointment but none had available slots for the next couple of days. Luckily, Perfect Pair Optometry took me in for an urgent case and I was scheduled to meet Dr. Vicky on the same day. She was patient and took a look at my eye and performed a thorough checkout. She identified the problem and scheduled a followup as well. She is really friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. The front staff is great and really friendly. This was my son and I's first eye appointment ever. I didn't know what to expect, so I turned to Yelp to find the best and it led me here! Tucked away in Foxworthy, same plaza as Zanatto's. The tests were very thorough. It takes a while, but be patient. The Dr. and his staff were very patient with us. My son is five and in the middle of it, he was just about done. The Dr. was very understanding. Turns out he didn't need glasses, but I did. The assistants helped me choose the perfect one. I can be very indecisive and picky, but they, too, were patient with me. I ended up with the perfect pair of matte grey Gucci glasses. Love it so much! They say the wait is 1.5-2.5 weeks, but I only waited 1.5 with Thanksgiving in between. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! read more

Had a great experience with Dr. Vicky Hsieh and her staff. My 5 year old daughters first time at the optometrist and she was a bit scared. Dr. Vicky Hsieh and her staff made every effort to make her feel comfortable and work around her fears. She didn't get through the whole exam, but Dr. Vicky Hsieh scheduled her for a month later at no extra charge to complete the exam in hopes of us building up her confidence. 8/17/19 So my daughter had her follow up from last month and although she did much better this time it wasn't without some struggles and Dr. Vicky Hsieh and staff came through again. They amount of patience they have to work with kids is amazing. Half the staff helped talk to my daughter to help ease her fears. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

Dr. Kitajima is an amazing optometrist. He spent a lot of time and effort to make sure that I had a prescription that worked for me - I have specific issues that make this a particularly difficult task. I hope he does not retire as long as I need eyeglasses. His office also put in extra time and effort into making sure that the glasses fit properly. read more

They take COVID-19 seriously and make you wait outside before entering, screen you and check your temperature so you feel safer when you do eventually get to enter. All staff are very understanding and extremely nice, as are the main optometrists. Everytime I've come here I've felt like family and they do damn good work. read more

We picked this because they are close to the house and they are part of VSP. BUT, the reason below is why I would use them for years to come. I was assisted by the male Optometrist at the office. I went into thinking that I need reading glasses, as we get older we do need them. I am 41 years old and behind a computer most of the day. During my eye exam is was noted that my pressures were on the higher side. He did a eye exam and found that my angles were narrow. He recommended me to see a specialist. He also warned me not to have eyes dilated until I saw a specialist. I emailed my primary care doctor as Kaiser and was referred to the Ophthalmology department the very next day. Trust me I was scared, as I just went in for an eye exam and now seeing a specialist. The specialist verified that I do have narrow angles, that my pressures were high. Also stated it looked like I have a flat iris, which would make the angles narrow. After my appointment I was booked for a LPI (Laser Peripheral Iridotomy) procedure for the same week. My Kaiser Ophthalmologist stated that I went to a good Optometrist that provided great advise "not to get my eyes dilated" and that looked at things (my angles) that most Optometrist miss. Found this Optometrist via the VSP locator site. Had a pleasant experience with the staff. I met with Vicky the optometrist. She was very friendly, listened to my concerns. She confirmed that, like many other patients this year, I am suffering from seasonal allergies due a harsh pollen. I had my eye exam with Dr. Vicky Hsieh. Granted I used to be a Kaiser patient and they never looked at my eyes even close to this through. Besides what Kaiser does, she has a machine that takes photos of your retina, she zooms into photos to view it up close on her computer. Dr. Vicky also has a chair which reclines where she completed exams your eye through special headgear device and another lense. This all was very impressive. I had a small screw fall out of my prescription glasses late this afternoon with a full list of errands and I can't drive without them. Perfect pair was still open, I wandered in off the street after googling the place and was helped right way, my glasses were fixed in less than 5 minutes and I was not charged for the screw. Fabulous optometrist. They have all of the testing equipment for checking for issues. I love how they show you the retina pictures and explain what each part of your eye is and how it should look. Very friendly office, front desk ladies are helpful and kind. I always get my prescriptions to-go and they never make me feel bad for not buying glasses or contacts at the shop. They take their time and DO NOT pressure you into buying high end expensive frames. They have a large selection of frames and if they don't have what you're looking for, they can definitely order it for you. Customer service is always great and they ensure their customers are always happy when they leave the place. I've noticed on a few occasions that the staff are very accommodating whether it came to ordering a specific pair of frames or a small request like fixing a loose screw . Brian is the best optometrist ever! Both my husband and I only prefer to see him when our annual check up is due. He's very thorough and knowledgeable. Also, he's patience and really listen to your problems and concerns. The only downside is staff turnover, we can't keep track! The staff is super friendly but not enough knowledge and relatable. After three exams and one pair of glasses, I can tell you that Perfect Pair Optometry really exemplifies "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" My kids and I have had wonderful experiences with Drs. Hsieh and Kitajima. I was concerned about my daughter's vision last summer, as she approached 1st grade, and scheduled an exam with Dr. Kitajima. The front staff was super-friendly on the phone and their appointment availability was great. Our appointment began on time and everyone was fantastic with my daughter, who's 6. She was a little nervous going in, but everyone made her feel comfortable and safe. The exam went well and we found she'd benefit from glasses. They have a great selection of kids frames, but nothing that she felt like herself in. With help, we branched out into some smaller adult frames. My daughter found a pair she loved and they were fantastic about going over our insurance coverage and lens options. The glasses arrived quickly and they were very thorough in fitting them to her at pick-up. Since they were adult frames, they bent the sides to make sure they hugged my daughter's ears and wouldn't fall off. It's amazing to have such a great optometry practice in our neighborhood, but this place is good enough to travel a distance to. The selection of frames is awesome as well and includes Kate Spade, Prada, Salt, Gucci, Tory Burch, and other designers. read more

Have not used their eye testing facility yet but we had a fantastic experience purchasing glasses using an external prescription. Tanya at the front desk was very patient with our questions around insurance and helped us select a great pair of glasses at a very reasonable price.
