However, things quickly became frustrating due to constant delays and inconsistent information. On February 28, I called for an update and was told I would hear back on March 2. On March 2, they called and said the glasses would be ready by the end of that week. On March 7, I called again and was then told it would take 3-4 weeks. When I pointed out it had already been 4 weeks, they changed it again to 4-5 weeks. On March 10, they called and promised the glasses would definitely be ready by the end of that week. On March 13, they informed me that their lab had lost the frame and they needed to reorder it and resend it to the lab. They also said it was the lab's fault, not theirs. However, the lab is their partner--not something I chose--so I don't think it's appropriate to shift the responsibility to someone else. On March 16, they called again and assured me the glasses would be ready by Thursday or Friday that week. Now, more than 7 weeks have passed, and I still have not received any call to pick up my glasses. This experience has been extremely frustrating. The repeated delays, broken promises, and lack of accountability are unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable service.

My last visit 6/26 had to ask optician to go over the list of charges when my bill was more than expected. Upgrades like anti-glare, anti-scratch, or extra thin material for my moderate prescription reading glasses were all on the bill without me being included in the choices. My prior visit, 7/25 was a similar situation. And the 7/24 visit left me with a pair of off the shelf Maui Jim's w/warped lenses. In this case, the optician (Bob) should have noticed that the lenses were damaged (probably due to being directly underneath the display light). Dr. Dally made it right on the 6/25 visit because the issue was within 1 year warranty, but I had to pay processing fees. The doctor here is good. It's the lack of transparency and inclusion from the front of the house that is something of which to be aware.

This was surprising and very disappointing, because PD is part of the exam results that I already paid for. Even more concerning: When my family member called the same clinic later, the staff suddenly said they could provide the PD. This inconsistency raises questions about professionalism and fairness. I hope the clinic can improve transparency and treat every patient with consistent standards.

It is a condition that has no treatment/cure. The Doctor knew all the things to watch for...signs that would show that I was getting the disease (it is hereditary). It was very comforting knowing that I have picked the right Optometrist My Husband has diabetes and that makes eye exams very important. Diabetics have the potential for blindness because of uncontrolled blood sugar. So you need to get retinal scans and not every optometrist office does them but this office does. Dr. Winnie made sure that my husband did the retinal test and checked over everything thoughly. Her front office staff was a delight, very friendly and welcoming. I came in for an annual exam to renew my contact lens rx, and was surprised to learn I have cataracts in both eyes. I will have surgery for that but first needed to pass my vision test for my DL renewal . Dr Yeh spent a ton of time and effort to get my prescription just right - she was more thorough than any eye care professional I've seen previously - that includes ophthalmologists, too. She made time for me and never seemed rushed despite how busy her schedule is. A successful healthcare practice requires not only technical skill but also strong communication, empathy, and professionalism. Customer service and patient relationships are essential in any medical setting. Dr Mahajerani recommended limiting screen time at school and at home. We absolutely loved her and after discussing it as a family decided to proceed to the school to try to limit our son's screen time and ask for accommodations to try to help him as best as we could. However, after multiple attempts over three weeks to get a doctor's note from Los Gatos eye care we were met with unreturned calls and eventually no response at all. When we finally visited the clinic in person, Dr Mason was dismissive and unhelpful. She refused to provide the note and even questioned the validity of the original diagnosis from Dr Mahajerani. Her attitude was not only unprofessional but also dismissive of our concerns for our son's health. What was even more concerning was her disbelief in the impact of screen time on eye health. She outright denied that screen time could strain the eyes, which is a well-established medical fact. This blatant disregard for proper care and the dismissive attitude made the entire experience extremely frustrating. It was incredibly frustrating to be treated this way, especially when we were advocating for our child's well-being. I would strongly advise other parents to consider other clinics for a more supportive and professional experience. I'm sad to leave this clinic as Dr Mahajerani was the best we've seen. If she ever is to leave this clinic we would follow her but knowing Dr mason is running this office we won't be returning. I never would have expected walking up to the office today we would be treated in such a way.

The young man at the front desk was very nice and throughly went over what information was needed and my copay amount through my insurance. Dr. Hwang completed my eye exam and she was very thorough. Luckily my injury was minor but I'll be back for a follow up appointment. I decided to make them my primary optometrist office moving forward since they're a lot closer to my home and I had a great patient experience. I recommend their office!

I had to go back to Union Optometry a couple of times to get my Rx further dialed in as I was still having some eye strain and blurring when trying to focus on my computer and phone. My eyes are VERY sensitive. Dr. Nancy was so patient and wanted to ensure everything was right this time. The lenses are perfect now. I also bought sunglasses with Rx lenses from Union and the lenses are nicely done, both in my sunglasses and in my reading frames. The surface polish is done well. Continue to highly recommend Union Optometry!
