I'm sure there are good ones there too, but I guess I got the bad one. This was my first time here. I usually always get gel, because I work in a profession that use my hands, but since I'm going away for a trip and was considering changing my nail after couple of days, I decided to go with regular mani and pedi. The woman who worked there offered gel, which was only 10 dollars more from what I'll have to get both, so I said why not. It really felt like I was being rushed. I have never went to a nail salon, ever, who did not clean and cut any of my cuticles off of my hand and placed manicure right away. I mean, she did cut my nail and etc, and she let me put one of my hand in the warm water, and takes it out, does nothing, and she didn't even asked me to put my other hand in the warm water and told me to 'go wash your hand'. I was trying to be optimistic about it, thinking, oh, maybe she will clean them afterwards, but no. After she placed manicure, she acted like it was done. I was still expecting her to clean my cuticles, but no, she asked what color I wanted to pedicure. I asked her if she was done, with some manicure around my uncleaned cuticles and my skin. Then she noticed I was not happy at all, and she started to cut off some of end of my nails. Of course you can't really cut or clean any cuticles off after gel is done, can you. I usually don't leave reviews, and I always leave 25% tip, but I just paid for manicure, didn't even bothered getting a pedicure and just walked out.
If she ever reads this, I hope she learns not to rush customers, or even though she rush, maybe actually do the full service instead half of the service and expect customer to be happy. Maybe it was because I looked young, and she thought it was 'ok'. I'm not sure what it was, but this was by far my worst experience getting my nails done. read more
