What it's not is: New York Pizza Neapolitan Pizza Artisan Pizza What it is: Pretty good mediocre pizza you can bring to a party that will offend few and impress even less. This is the second time I've come here and order a vegan pizza and they give me real pepperoni. The first time I smelled it and didn't eat it but this time I SPECIFICALLY told them how the last time I came I was given real meat and was scared I said please make sure it's all vegan, and they gave me one with vegan pepperoni and REAL BACON. A few months ago, I was in the area late at night and this place looked really busy and was curious to try it. Since then, I've noticed a few other locations around Houston, and I became intrigued. Being a pizza lover, my motto is "I've never met a pizza I didn't like". The the locations I have seen around town and the fact that they sell pizza "by the slice" make this restaurant seem more of a place that should have a "Mc" before Pepperoni's. I frequent a few pizza places in Houston where I will spend $21.00 for a medium pizza and I know the pizza is going to be amazing, just like some hamburger places where I don't mind spending $18.00 for a hamburger: and I'm not talking about organic, non gmo or "beyond" stuff, I'm talking about sinful-all-the-way food. Pepperoni's offers a medium (12 inch) pizza for about $14.00, which is kind of high compared to other pizza places where you can get a large (14 inch or bigger) pizza for less money. Nonetheless, there was something that made me curious about Pepperoni's. When I was looking to possibly ordering before; I had subscribed to their emails for specials and other promotions. This location is close to work, so they were on my radar. On National Pepperoni Pizza Day (today) I received an email with a promo code for a medium pizza 50% off. It was the time to try Pepperoni's for the first time. I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza, being that their name is Pepperoni's, I expected this to be their signature and their best pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza is average at best. I would compare it to the "Hot-N-Ready" place. However, the hot-n-ready pizza is only $6.00. I certainly would not pay $14.00 for Pepperoni's pizza at any time and I'm glad to have had the coupon for the opportunity to find out. I also ordered Wings, because there is nothing better than pizza and wings. "Hot Wings". The wings were baked rather than fried, and they were good. To conclude, if there is a "Hot-N-Ready" place next to Pepperoni's, save your money. If you don't mind spending a little more for good pizza, send me a message for suggestions. read more

Great late night or anytime pizza spot in Montrose. It's tiny pretty much a go-to to-go spot. Not the most attractive place but flavor and customer service makes up for it. We had a medium supreme for 15.99 plus tax and tried their famous lemonade. No complaints! read more

Phone order was ridiculous. I was actually asked to provide my credit card information over the phone for a pick up order! If their online portal was working, the whole inconvenience of ordering by phone would not have been necessary. I arrived to pick up my order and was not greeted with a "hello, how can I help you!" but was instead met with a guy who opened the window asked me what was I there for! The window was then shut without an explanation of whether they were getting my order and how long it would be. Rude and completely devoid of any level of customer service. The pizza is subpar at best, unless your drunk. I'm from NJ so unfriendly customer service is not something I'm unaccustomed to; however, bad service and bad pizza, I cannot abide! In the age of COVID, many restaurants are on life support just trying to survive. Customer service should be at the core of any small businesses operation in this day and age. I went with two cheese pizzas and Dr.Pepper. Guess how much the pizza was? $2! Two huge slices for just $2! It was cheesy and hot! Good stuff. Now the Dr.Pepper- a can for $3. That's ridiculous. You can get a large drink from McDonalds for just $1. This is a to go establishment, so grab your pizza and eat it hot in your car, on the sidewalk or cold at your place. I asked for fresh pizza and he said it's either those pizza's or none then started yelling at me and said it's either those pizzas or none pizzas then the guy who mops the floor followed up with grabbing the wrong pizza meat lover to try and prove they was fresh lol and grabbed the absolute wrong one. Then grabbed the pepperoni and said does this look fresh or not. I said yea it does then he replies with yeah exactly so you want'em or not ! This place is pretty popular. I can see why, many locations across town, plus a consistent bite in their pizza. Gives me major dominos vibes with firmer and a more neutral dough. Ingredients and quality didn't set them apart from an average chain. Sub was subpar, flavors were there, but sloppy execution and skimpy ingredients. Overall I don't see myself itching to come back. My favorite pizza in Houston! Such fresh toppings, tasty crust, and I love their huge list of toppings and sauce options, such as Alfredo and Walnut Pesto!! My favorites are the Pesto Chicken and Spinaci, and hubby loves the Athena with gyro meat! We can easily do half and half pizzas, which is another feature we appreciate! Very small parking lot. If you don't want to risk hitting any cars or risk having your car hit, I'd recommend not parking in their lot. If you park in the street, watch out for the No Parking signs! We ordered a medium (12-inch) pepperoni's special for $15.99. Expensive for average tasting pizza. I guess you live and you learn. I personally think Costco, Sam's club, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's pizzas are way better. Also ordered a full (10-inch) Philly cheesesteak sandwich for $7.99. It was ok. The bread was pretty good. The ones they sell at the mall food court is better. The estimated wait for our order was 20-30 minutes (on July 3, Sunday, at 10 pm) so we walked to the corner store to buy drinks since we weren't interested in their bottled sodas. There are some interesting characters that come here; fun place to people watch. When your order is ready, they won't call your name. You have to go up to the counter to check if your order is ready. Fast service, opened late. This pizza place is so nice to have since they're opened late, have options for any diet (vegan, keto etc) and have a drive through. You can order online ahead of time then pick it up at the drive through window. A downside to this is the location. The location is in a small lot in the corner so it's hard to get to the pick up window. The pizza itself was good and well cooked. It wasn't the most amazing pizza I've had but good enough for a pizza at 1:30am. read more

They use all fresh garlic and herbs and you can taste the different - love the margherita. They also have subs, gyros, wings, calzones, large salads, pastas, meatball apps...
