Open Tuna Melt and Broccoli Omelette with Mozzarella
    Li W.

We came here on a Saturday around 11am to grab brunch, and they had plenty of seats for us. We got a Open Tuna Melt and a Broccoli Omelette with Mozzarella and both were quite good! I'd totally get the Open Tuna Melt again. The bill came out to $30 with two cups of coffee. Our waitress was kind and quick. Ambiance is pretty chill, everything felt clean and straightforward. We parked out front on the street. Would recommend coming here if you want to satisfy diner food craving!

Upon entering, the diner gives off a vibe: we're brand new and hip. In reality, it's been here forever and a day. Clean - I'll give them that. Service was ok. It was fine. It was an empty-ish diner. The food. Oh, the food. I received my plate of hash browns and poached eggs and a side of lox on a separate plate... it all looked so bland, so vanilla, so unappetizing. The hash was uneatable. This was the worst I've ever had. I mustered 3 forkfuls, and regretted it immediately. For me, it was a sad experience.

Loved Peppercorn. Mother's Day visit was so unplanned. Service was excellent. Big time diner in a cozy Summit location. The food was fresh and good

Super small, local cozy, family owned type of breakfast place. Would of been a four star rating but the kitchen is part of the restaurant and it is SOO SOO loud. The cooking and the staff cooking being super loud. Service was bad. Omelettes didn't come with ketchup, coffee wasn't refilled, pancakes came without syrup and hard to ask because server was super busy. Omelettes are smaller sized and potato's are not good. We had the veggie omelette it was a 6/10 Wife had the spinach and feta, it was a 7/10 Chocolate pancakes were 7/10 Over all decent just super loud and service is bad.

    Warm pita and tzatziki.

This place has the best Greek food in Summit, which is ironic because this is a diner and not specifically a Greek restaraunt like that specifically Greek place in town. You know that hipster Greek spot with windowless seating? Anywho, I ordered the Greek platter with grilled chicken. This platter was chock full of goodies. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. No burnt ends or uncooked parts. The pita was warm and slightly toasty. Very well done. It came with a nice sized bowl of tzatziki sauce. The accompanying salad had a nice mix of greens and cubes of flavorful feta on top. You seat yourself and a server comes to the table rather quickly. I had a thoroughly relaxing and fulfilling dining experience at Peppercorn. I will be back again.

I asked for BBQ sauce and my waitress brought me two different ones because she wanted me to try both and decide on my favorite. And whenever I was running low on water, my waitress was quick to get me more. The Baked Brie burger is my go-to. The combo of burger, bacon, Brie, and fig jam is phenomenal. I cannot sing its praises enough. And their burger patties are delicious on their own- tender and flavorful. And I do enjoy their buns that hold up to all the ingredients. And this is one of the few spots that does sweet potato waffle fries. The best type of fry in my opinion. Get them and be happy. And dip them in the darker BBQ sauce! The place itself is super clean and put together. I've come back many times and will continue to do so

This has been my go-to coffee shop every weekend for the last couple of years. To put it simply,…read moretheir coffee is fantastic. Specifically, their cold brew which is extremely smooth and strong, and in my opinion you don't even need to put anything in it unless you really want something sweet, although why would you get a cold brew if that's the case lol. Also packs quite a bit of caffeine so you'll be good for the rest of the day. Their pastries are pretty solid as well, although a bit on the pricier side. The cafe itself is on the smaller side but still an ample amount of seating. It's excellent for meeting with a friend, however the tables are rather small so it is less study friendly unless you manage to snag one of the bigger tables by the entrance. Which is admittedly pretty tough to do unless you get here right when it opens or catch a lucky break when someone leaves - I speak from experience. That said, it's overall a pretty solid spot to get work done. Parking in downtown Summit is a pain in general, I usually just park in the lot and walk over. Limit is at 5 hours and you will have to walk back if you want to extend it. There might be parking available by the cafe, but I'm personally less confident on how long you can to stay before getting ticketed/booted, so do so at your own risk.

I ordered the coconut coffee which was okay, just a bit too sweet for my taste. The second time around, I looked over the menu ahead of time and tried a matcha. I finished the entire plate without even thinking twice, which says everything. The chicken had a slight burn on it, but instead of ruining it, it actually added a bold, smoky flavor that made the whole dish taste even better. The atmosphere was perfect the lighting was super nice and could have ate outside! Even though the place was busy, the timing was solid--I got my food at a reasonable pace, which is rare when a spot is packed. The balance of fresh greens, protein-packed chicken, and overall flavor was on point. It felt like the perfect mix of healthy and satisfying, not something you always get with a Caesar. Bottom line: simple dish, executed strong. Winberie's delivers where it matters. Definitely recommend.

The liquors and wines do not offer a lot of too shelf options but a really decent, no fuss drink list. The food was good. Nothing was bad. The jersey tomatoes are good, but you get the sense immediately that you're at an upper end Applebees. Don't let that hold you back. The tomatoes are fresh and it's a good mix of flavors. I had the short ribs, which is really pot roast and mashed potatoes. Again, really good and comfort food but not really flooring me. The last thing, that I am sure is not normal, but as soon as I walked inside I got a smell of septic issues. It continued for 30 min or so, then I think they addressed it bc there was another word smell and then both went away. So overall good spot and reliable. Great service! Decent food for a change up, family meet up, or comfort food and a drink or two. Sit on the patio.
