The image shows a breakfast plate with crispy, golden-brown hash browns, a boiled egg cut in half, two poached eggs sprinkled with black pepper, and a piece of smoked salmon. The plate is white with a black rim, and a fork is placed on the left side. A glass of water is partially visible in the background, and the setting appears to be a dining table.

Upon entering, the diner gives off a vibe: we're brand new and hip. In reality, it's been here forever and a day. Clean - I'll give them that. Service was ok. It was fine. It was an empty-ish diner. The food. Oh, the food. I received my plate of hash browns and poached eggs and a side of lox on a separate plate... it all looked so bland, so vanilla, so unappetizing. The hash was uneatable. This was the worst I've ever had. I mustered 3 forkfuls, and regretted it immediately. For me, it was a sad experience.

Open Tuna Melt and Broccoli Omelette with Mozzarella - A meal includes two cheeseburgers with melted cheddar cheese on toasted buns, served with a side of French fries. In the background, there is a plate with scrambled eggs mixed with green vegetables and a portion of hash browns. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment with utensils and napkins on the table.

We came here on a Saturday around 11am to grab brunch, and they had plenty of seats for us. We got a Open Tuna Melt and a Broccoli Omelette with Mozzarella and both were quite good! I'd totally get the Open Tuna Melt again. The bill came out to $30 with two cups of coffee. Our waitress was kind and quick. Ambiance is pretty chill, everything felt clean and straightforward. We parked out front on the street. Would recommend coming here if you want to satisfy diner food craving!

Rye bread dry - Two slices of toasted bread are arranged on a white plate with a black rim, with one slice slightly overlapping the other. The bread appears toasted with a golden-brown crust and some uneven toasting marks. Two butter packets labeled 'Smucker's' are positioned at the top corners of the plate. The plate is on a white surface, and part of a metal utensil is visible in the lower left corner. The background includes a glimpse of a dark floor and furniture.

Loved Peppercorn. Mother's Day visit was so unplanned. Service was excellent. Big time diner in a cozy Summit location. The food was fresh and good

The image shows a breakfast meal on a white table, including a plate with toasted bread, a cup of coffee with cream in a matching cup and saucer, and bowls containing mashed potatoes and a vegetable casserole. There are also napkins, a small container of cream or milk, and a spoon on the saucer. The background includes additional chairs and a wooden floor, indicating a dining area.

Super small, local cozy, family owned type of breakfast place. Would of been a four star rating but the kitchen is part of the restaurant and it is SOO SOO loud. The cooking and the staff cooking being super loud. Service was bad. Omelettes didn't come with ketchup, coffee wasn't refilled, pancakes came without syrup and hard to ask because server was super busy. Omelettes are smaller sized and potato's are not good. We had the veggie omelette it was a 6/10 Wife had the spinach and feta, it was a 7/10 Chocolate pancakes were 7/10 Over all decent just super loud and service is bad.

Warm pita and tzatziki.

A fine diner. They make omelets with real eggs, the place is spotless, the service is excellent. Nothing fancy, just a solid OG diner.

Loved the spinach Benedict . One of the best Hollandaise sauces I have tasted in a while . The home fries were a little bland though .

This is awesome for the ambience but not if you are larger person (I am not but my companion was.) also they only take cash. Now -- that said, step back into an earlier time when you come in here. It's one of the oldest diners in the country -- maybe the oldest? -- and you'll truly feel like you're in a movie. I recommend a weekday morning since it's a touristy thing! I had eggs over easy and sausage. Delicious and timeless. Fun!

The diner is inside a classic boxcar and not much has changed since opening - which is the way it should stay. The service was great and everyone was friendly and accommodating. We arrived around 12 PM on a Sunday and waited about 10 minutes for a table. They don't have high pairs but they have booster seats that worked just as well. We ordered Taylor, ham, egg, and cheese on a roll, two pancakes with scrambled eggs, and the front toast plate that came with eggs and sausage. Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a roll was standard and good. The French toast was tasty. The pancakes were very, very good. Definitely order these! The diner is no-frills. It's classic food served the original way. It really feels like an authentic New Jersey establishment and I love that it hasn't changed.

She wasn't wrong. My friend and I visited on a Thursday morning. A wonderful greeting as we walked in. It's quaint, charming, and no frills. My friend ordered the lemon blueberry crumble pancakes and a side order of scrambled eggs. I ordered the French toast with berries, bananas and a side of sausage. Of course, coffee. As a coffee snob, I would say it was very good. Our orders came out hot and fresh with huge portions. The lemon pancakes were plate size and with plenty of tasty crumble. My French toast consisted of four thick slices covered in plenty of berries and bananas. My sausage was cooked fresh and not sitting on a griddle for two hours. The service was excellent and friendly. You will be impressed with the creativity of the menu items. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion size. There is ample parking in their private parking lot. It was my first time there and I'll be back soon enough!
