People's Organic delivered a surprisingly decent breakfast experience that left me fueled and ready for my flight. I opted for the Breakfast Burrito with added tofu, a staple in my breakfast repertoire. The burrito arrived promptly, a good sign when you're on a tight schedule. Visually, it was appealing - well-wrapped and generously sized, hinting at a substantial filling along with black bean chili layered in top. The eggs were fluffy and well-seasoned, and the addition of the tofu was a smart move. The tofu wasn't seasoned but did give me the protein boost I was looking The tortilla held up admirably, not soggy despite the generous filling. While it's airport food, and you should adjust your expectations accordingly. People's Organic managed to provide a well-executed breakfast and was a decent option for a nourishing meal before you board. So I simplified it. Still no vibe shift. Ordering food felt like a burden to her. No smile, barely a response, and when I asked for water, she stared into the void like I had spoken another language. I actually repeated myself just to confirm I hadn't imagined placing the order. She wasn't rude in a loud way. Just quiet, cold, and clearly uninterested in doing the bare minimum. Ehh.. a bit stressful during my experience here. Service was a bit delayed despite not having many people at the restaurant. Ordered - Zone Omelette (2/5). I could not eat this. Asked for no cheese and they still served me cheese. Since I needed to hop on a flight, did not ask them to re-do it but it was explicitly made clear that no cheese was preferred. My credit card was also swiped incorrectly with another person's and thankfully the other person was nearby so we exchanged our cards and had to tell the server to help with reconciliation. Our cards had a pending charge that lasted a week or so and just added to extra monitoring. Will I re-visit? Maybe... for a water bottle or one of their packaged meals to avoid getting things mixed up. read more

Health-oriented food in the airport is always a treat to discover! I visited the quick-service side of the People's Organic in the mall area near C and D gates. This location has both a counter service area and a sit-down restaurant, the other location by the F gates is in a food court and counter-service only. I checked out the F gates location before coming to this one, and the bigger location is better if you have time to walk over; there's a better selection even if you're only getting grab-and-go. I got a macro bowl, a maple donut, and an almond nutmeg warmer. The macro bowl was definitely the best grab-and-go food I've ever had at an airport (which may seem like a low bar, but I've been lucky enough to have happened upon some pretty good airport food). Loved the hearty squash and beans mix and the zingy turmeric dressing. I hadn't planned on getting a dessert but the maple walnut donut in the case caught my eye - so good! Baked instead of fried, soft, maple-y but not too sweet. Highly recommend this donut if you want a balanced sweet treat. I got a nutmeg almond warmer (steamed milk) to go with the donut, which was nothing a special but a nice, comforting drink. All in all, it was a very good meal. It took them maybe 5 minutes to get to making my drink, which is longer than I expected but still not bad. The two cashiers/baristas were friendly. It goes without saying that it was a little pricy for prepared food, but you'd be hard-pressed to find better food in this setting. read more

OMG this place was awful. Pretty much THE only option for a vegan meal at MSP and they definitely treated that as such. They got our order wrong, they served us NON-VEGAN sauce when we asked for vegan. The food was forever to wait on as were the drinks. The service, food and atmosphere were all meh. I was sorely disappointed as there were reviews saying how great their vegan items were. AVOID it at all costs if possible! Yikes. Total disaster. People's organic seemed to be the logical and great and safe choice for a vegan traveler at MSP. Nope. First issue - our server seemed completely confused about almost everything on the menu. Then we ordered Fried Cauliflower, which was supposed to have a Soy Cilantro dip and came with blue cheese instead. I asked the waitress what it was and she said blue cheese. We told her we were vegan and that it has dairy and that wasn't okay. She swapped it out and apologized. The two flavors were awful together. The fried cauliflower was soggy but it did have a nice flavor. It was a BBQ flavor. Which made the soy cilantro sauce confusing to me. It did NOT taste good together. Then I ordered Avocado Toast with vegan sausage & a side of sweet potato fries with sriracha aoili. My husband ordered the Cowboy Burger which came with a Beyond patty. Our fries came out first and mine were ice cold. My husband said his were fine. The fry baskets also still had the "Made in China" labels on them, which told me that they clearly hadn't been washed yet. When my Avocado Sausage came the sausage didn't look like the prior photos of vegan sausage so I asked the waitress to double check and she said yes it's vegan. Then I asked what brand it was and she said she would ask. When she came back she said "it's vegan." Again, I said, that's not what I asked, I asked what brand it is. Which resulted in her asking all of the other front of the house staff until someone said "Beyond Meat." I wouldn't have ordered it had I known that as Beyond products upset my stomach and they're too greasy. Thankfully my husband ate them. My husband said his burger was dry, which for a Beyond burger meant they sure had to cook it for a long time because they are super greasy and I've never ever seen them served dry. I ordered a Chandon Brut Rose to drink, and the server had to come back and ask where on the menu it was. And I ordered a Blackberry Lavender Champagne cocktail which basically had lavender pellets in it and I had to keep spitting them out. We were going to have dessert but the server told us her shift was over and we needed to pay. Just EVERY bit of our experience was awful. Save yourself the misery and stay away. read more

"organic " haha For a drink I had the ginger turmeric tea hot with cream and sugar . I wish it had been a bit hotter . The tea bag itself was just beautiful with all the aromatics . This tea is packed with flavor and just made me want to snuggle up on the couch tucked in a blanket . The flavors are bold and bright , just such a delight . The ginger is the star here . For dinner I had the chicken and goat cheese ciabatta . Chicken, goat cheese, roasted tomatoes, organic spinach and tomato aioli . The ciabatta was incredible so light and fluffy it was like eating a ciabatta cloud . The sandwich itself was underwhelming it lacked flavor and depth . The goat cheese was just bland , which I feel is odd for goat cheese . Honesty just not my favorite , it definitely needed something . Replacing what used to be a French Meadow outpost in MSP Airport, this location has two labeled vegan desserts and a couple vegan food items. I got the vegan brownie ($3.49) which was thick and chocolate-y, but also got boring after a few bites and was too heavy. They also have great loose-leaf teas which is a nice change of pace from low-grade bagged varieties. The service is friendly if erratic and scattered (which one can only expect from a busy airport cafe). Whenever I'm in MSP Airport, I'll definitely stop by Peoples to grab a vegan snack. read more

The person who made it first and started it off with a giant pour of agave syrup (WAY too much, when really none is necessary to begin with). I was trying to be healthy-ish...and the next door Chick-Fil-A line was massive. I decided to give PO a try, and I'm glad I did. Much more positives than negatives. Pros: 1) unique food options that don't look or feel like fast food. 2) excellent descriptions of the food options so you can feel good about your choice. 3) prices weren't hideous, especially when compared to what you get. 4) Salad greens were plentiful and fresh, salad dressing was yummy, grilled cheese was filling (cheese was melted, bread wasn't soggy). 5) packaging seemed mindful. Cons: 1) food took a while, probably 10 minutes (but people waiting for CFA waited longer!). 2) shared food court seating is minimal. For an airport restaurant, I was extremely happy and impressed. I can't eat dairy or eggs so really struggle at airports to find something I can eat. I hate eating at airports just based on price alone. However, I got a chicken and wild rice soup that was dairy and egg free (and gluten free too!) as well as a vegan brownie that was phenomenal. The vegan dessert was very unexpected and made my day. Their menu on the wall is marked with allergens which is always appreciated. The food came quickly. There wasn't much of a line despite it being lunch time, so I'm not sure how busy they are. I would 100% eat there again though if I were to be in MSP for a flight again. For an airport joint this place was awesome. There is both a full service area with a little patio type area facing the concourse and an inside dining area that overlooking the tarmac. Plenty of seating with a full bar. Choose your seat type they have you covered. Service was amazing. They greeted me up front with a menu. Team was attentive to my needs and I was never without what I was looking for. It was super fast too. Granted I ordered something simple but still fast enough for me to joke with the waiter. Food was solid. Plenty of organic and healthy options. I had the breakfast bowl and an organic free trade coffee. Coffee was a little bitter for my liking but still had two cups. The bowl was good and had lots of good flavors. The rice was a bit undercooked on some grains giving the occasional crunch and there was enough lettuce to leave some behind. All and all good but may get eggs and a side next time. What a great experience getting good food and coffee quickly allowing me to get a bunch of work done between flights! She was barking or shrieking out orders and it wasn't that busy. I ordered the avocado toast. Bad choice. They used way too much cilantro and the bread was soggy. I got a cold pressed coffee which was just ok as was the croissant I ordered for later in my flight, but ate it early because the avocado toast was so bad that I threw it away. $16.50 is way too expensive for what I got.
