Overall this is an average Shake Shack. The lines are long and with that requires waiting a while to get your food. I don't enjoy that they make you take a number and then try to find you. Being near the food court some times you can sit right in the SS area. It can take a while for the employees to find the right numbers. If they called out the numbers that would honestly speed things up. I ended up ordering with an employee and man, she was not friendly or helpful. She honestly gave off vibes that she hated her job (which honestly so would I lol). The food it self was good, simple burgers and fries but they hit the spot. My daughter loves their cheese fries and it's one of the few restaurants that my entire family enjoys, so they get points for that. Well, unfortunately, I am unimpressed. I must say the ambiance was quite enjoyable. However, their level of customer service did not reach my expectations. When I ordered my yellow rejuvenation fluid, I grabbed a table about 20 feet away from the register. When they made my drink, the lady clearly may have had some chronic fatigue or blindness. Been here a few times and each time I'm a bit annoyed mostly due to service. First time I ordered burgers and they came out with the wrong toppings. I did get them replaced ith the correct toppings, but it took some time and by then everyone else was done eating. This last time I came in just for some if the custard icecream. Ordered 3 of them. The wait took forever! The place wasn't even that busy. Week night around 730. I eventualky walked up and saw my 3 custard icecream cups were sitting in back while the lady kept filling up other orders. I found a manager and asked if he could at least bring me the icecream before it all got gross and melted, which he did. I was more annoyed because my icecream was already melting. I am a Shack fan. My wife and I used to live in NYC and frequented the original, actual "shack" location in the park. I am a bit mixed on this location. It is in MoA, so it got packed, like every other food place as the clock approached lunch. It was very busy, with a line and a crowd waiting for food, but by no means mayhem. The person who took our order was friendly and we were able to find a clean table to sit at. However, waiting for the food was a different matter. From the time I ordered our food, my wife wandered the rest of the food court, carefully inspecting many menus, ordered food, and brought it back to our Shack table and began eating before our Shack food was ready. This is pretty bad. I watched what was going on behind the scenes and it seemed that burgers and fries were not coming out a few at a time, but rather in massive waves with very long gaps, with the expo person scrambling to fill the orders when the food avalanche hit the line. So, this location was way more chill than the one off of Washington. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy myself less at either. Walking in, you're greeted with 5 star customer service with a smile . I have been to a Shake Shack preciously in Vegas but wondered if this place would hold up apart from the scene and environment that goes with Sin City. We were in for a day trip with visiting friends at the Mall of America and decided to hit Shake Shack. We ordered the traditional cheeseburger, a hot dog, the mushroom burger and fries. You can tell the budgets are fresh and there is a greasy but delicious taste that comes in every bite. The crinkle fries are amazing, cooked to perfection and are a great addition to the burgers. The mint shake and chocolate malt were to die for and the overarching best part of our meal. The ice cream was terrific. However, here's why I'm rating it a 3/5. The "Christmas sugar cookie" flavor title is rather misleading. There are red and green sprinkles, with a small amount of crumbled sugar cookie on top. All this was just piled on top of the whipped cream.
