The ShakeBurger was pretty good, but I'm not sure they are worth the price. My daughter loves their cheese fries and it's one of the few restaurants that my entire family enjoys, so they get points for that. Service was friendly, and I love that I can order from the app while we're walking in from the parking ramp and reduce our waiting time. Ambiance is classic mall restaurant vibes, but I do appreciate that they have free tap water available. read more

The chicken shack is where it's at. So flavorful and literally went out of my way to go through the mall to get my fix. No regrets, the sandwich delivers!! The staff was friendly and it was busy because it is the Mall of America after all... read more

Overall this is an average Shake Shack. The lines are long and with that requires waiting a while to get your food. I don't enjoy that they make you take a number and then try to find you. Being near the food court some times you can sit right in the SS area. It can take a while for the employees to find the right numbers. If they called out the numbers that would honestly speed things up. I ended up ordering with an employee and man, she was not friendly or helpful. She honestly gave off vibes that she hated her job (which honestly so would I lol). The food it self was good, simple burgers and fries but they hit the spot. This isn't the only burger spot in this food court but it's the best one. Are there other options nearby for better food? Yes- but if you're craving a burger you can't really go wrong with Shake Shack. I would come back if the line was a little smaller. read more

Well, unfortunately, I am unimpressed. I must say the ambiance was quite enjoyable. However, their level of customer service did not reach my expectations. When I ordered my yellow rejuvenation fluid, I grabbed a table about 20 feet away from the register. When they made my drink, the lady clearly may have had some chronic fatigue or blindness. Because my pal waved our number in the air for a painful 60 seconds, and she still couldn't find us! It resulted with me needing to get off my comfortable seat and grab the drink for my self. Also, the drink was mediocre. read more

Been here a few times and each time I'm a bit annoyed mostly due to service. First time I ordered burgers and they came out with the wrong toppings. I did get them replaced ith the correct toppings, but it took some time and by then everyone else was done eating. This last time I came in just for some if the custard icecream. Ordered 3 of them. The wait took forever! The place wasn't even that busy. Week night around 730. I eventualky walked up and saw my 3 custard icecream cups were sitting in back while the lady kept filling up other orders. I found a manager and asked if he could at least bring me the icecream before it all got gross and melted, which he did. I was more annoyed because my icecream was already melting. Who likes slow service and melted icecream? As far as space, ample seating. You take a number after ordering on their kiosk and bring to your table. Then they bring food to your table. read more

Shake shack is good but not worth the price. I prefer burgers from Culver's it was $65 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Though they do have more unique options, The people that work at this location were very helpful and nice. I do not recommend this location on the weekend.. completely over crowded. read more

Walking around the Mall of America, hubby and I worked up an appetite. It had been about a year and a half since our last meal at Shake Shack in Tampa, FL so we decided to order a couple chicken shack sandwiches. We easily placed our order on the kiosk and luckily found a table close by. They were super busy so it did take a little while to get our order. Our chicken shacks came out hot and fresh. The chicken was juicy, breading was crunchy and flavorful. I especially loved their potato bun and pickles. Shake Shack is always a great choice! read more

My last experience here was not great, they forgot to put avocado in my avocado burger however, I decided to give them another try after receiving the T-Mobile Tuesday deal. The shake shack burger was pretty good, I wish the patties weren't as thin but I enjoyed the sweet brioche bun that it comes with. The fries were nice and hot too! We waited about 15 minutes for our food, not bad. read more

OMG... Please don't tell me that you have never had a Shake Shack burger... Please! This incredibly tasty piece of meat with cheese on their signature bun is nothing less than awesome. It's all about the taste, and a Shake Shack burger comes with plenty of it. Even their shroom' burger was a tasty fried breaded mushroom with cheese on the same signature bun, or as their menu says: Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, ShackSauce™." It was awesome. No line at the Mall of America, but... still after a small wait for them to catch up with all the orders before me, I got my food. The team members are always smiling and friendly and I can not imagine the pressure that they go through. I went with a double cheeseburger here.. Woo Hoo I tried something new this time... I love their burgers, team spirit and great business model. KUDOs to the team at Shake Shack. read more

I am a Shack fan. My wife and I used to live in NYC and frequented the original, actual "shack" location in the park. I am a bit mixed on this location. It is in MoA, so it got packed, like every other food place as the clock approached lunch. It was very busy, with a line and a crowd waiting for food, but by no means mayhem. The person who took our order was friendly and we were able to find a clean table to sit at. However, waiting for the food was a different matter. From the time I ordered our food, my wife wandered the rest of the food court, carefully inspecting many menus, ordered food, and brought it back to our Shack table and began eating before our Shack food was ready. This is pretty bad. I watched what was going on behind the scenes and it seemed that burgers and fries were not coming out a few at a time, but rather in massive waves with very long gaps, with the expo person scrambling to fill the orders when the food avalanche hit the line. Hopefully, they fix this because, otherwise, the food and service were pretty good. read more

Delicious burger and a pretty good deal at $10 for burgers and fries at the MOA. Burger had a nice sear and great flavor. Crinkle fries were hot and flavorful as well. Guy that delivered food to our table was very pleasant and lots of people watching while eating. A great stop! read more

I was at this location last month and the service was good; this time not so much. I'm wondering why everyone looked so sad to be working there? No one smiled, the people cooking must have been bored because they were just standing around, and the expo person was not very quick. I hope they improve their customer service experience. Also, my fries were pretty overcooked when I didn't ask for it read more

Meh. I wanted to love the famous Shake Shack and its burger but I wasn't overly impressed. I felt like I got an ok burger with partially wilted lettuce and a decent iced tea. I was intending to go to a different restaurant that is actually across from shake shack but when I saw their prices, I turned around and saw shake shack. Since I don't eat meat, I checked the menu for meatless options. The only option I saw was the mushroom burger. I ordered the mushroom burger. The burger was good, I would buy it again. First time I eat here because my wife recommended it. She told me it's a distinguished food store in Dubai and it's not like McDonald's or Burger King it's more like a dining in every single mall in Dubai. The size of the burger was very appropriate for humans, she tried the mushroom burger, and it was really good. If they didn't tell me it was a mushroom burger I would have thought it was eggplant burger. Here you go business owners make your excellent burger. I tried the cheeseburger and the meat was good quality . For my wife to specifically ask me to take her to shake shack, it must be really one of the good restaurants. The service was really quick. There are so many burger joints in Minneapolis it blows my mind. The juicy Lucy joints, places that put peanut butter and jelly on burgers. It seems endless.I wanted to try Shake Shack when I was in New York, however it was such a short trip that other foods came before burgers. I'm sure glad I was able to try Shake Shack today. The burger was cooked to perfection. Not too dry and not under cooked. The shack sauce was a good compliment to this burger.Im not sure what's in this sauce, but I'm going to find out.It was a simple but very flavorful burger. The cheese fries were okay. The cheese sauce was good but my fries were over cooked.Fries should never be over cooked guys. I did not try anything else this time because the burger alone was a little over $9.Then I got the fries so now I was up to almost $14 for a chain burger.I'll go back and try other things for sure! Finally made my way to order a burger here using the Shake Shack app, and I was surprised by how smoothly things went, especially because I asked one of the workers to make a modification to my online order. The worker helping me was nice and very accommodating of me wanting to change my online order. I ordered they Shack Stack (ShackBurger combined with Shroom Burger?) and it surpassed my expectations. The mushroom patty had a really nice crunch to it, and I was happily surprised to find the mushroom patty to be filled with CHEESE and portobello mushroom. Everything else about the burger seemed pretty standard. The one negative I have is the burger was pretty small for a $10.50. There are many better value meals in this same food court. read more

While trying to keep a 5-year-old entertained amidst the dizzying MOA rides, I thought Shake Shack might offer a brief respite. Ordered a burger without the squishy red tomatoes, twisty fries, and a posh side of... water. Not only did my wallet feel the pinch, but the taste was a letdown too. To top it off, they got my name wrong. Multiple times! Maybe it was the mall noise, or maybe it's their thing? Anyway, fun pitstop for the little one, but not so much for my taste buds or ego. I hate my live choices every time that I come in here. It seems like a good idea to get a great All-American hamburger, some fries, and either a shake or drink. But, it's overly expensive, it takes like four days to get your meals, the place is dirty as a barn, and employees look like they're dying inside minute by minute. They need a bit more hustle. They need to keep things moving. And they need to watch their portion sizes which are incredibly small for the price. All that said, what you do get is basically pretty good. I'm glad to have had the chance to try them during a week night as I remember always being intimidated by the line during the weekend. Don't remember if they had the iPads for self ordering before but it was pretty nifty this time around. After placing an order and supplying your cell phone number, you'll be texted updates and ultimately when your order is ready you can pick it up using your name. The sesame shake was pretty expensive. I wasn't especially impressed but at least they took the effort to feature something different (apparently the black sesame concept was from Japan). The fries and burgers were fine. Portions were a bit on the small side but perhaps that's healthier anyway. Hot sauce, ketchup and water were self serve and pretty convenient. read more

So, this location was way more chill than the one off of Washington. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy myself less at either. Walking in, you're greeted with 5 star customer service with a smile . Throughout the evening my water glass was filled and was checked on to see how we felt. It's never cliché for me. Especially when the staff are so kind. I will always start my evening with the deeeeelicious Lobster Pountine with gravy and cheese curds. It's not even worth comparing to the Pountine at Brick & Burbon. To do so would be an insult. My date orders the Shack Burger. Which to my disappointment, is always lacking flavor. But this time, I'm gonna try something new. Today is the day for some chicken. Yes, the Southern Fried Chicken sandwich. Heavy pickle and extra bacon. Because....why not, right?! To my surprise, it was actually crispy and not soggy or overcooked crispy. It hit my southern taste buds and asked for more. There wasn't any cajun on it, but my cajun fries made up the difference. Overall, I am a happy customer. I would recommend read more

Shake Shack is an American staple. Their burgers are good, their shakes are amazing! The one in the Mall of America is busy, but they have implemented self order through screens which goes pretty quickly and is very hassle free! They will text you when your food is ready. We waited around 10-15min. I like that Shake Shack had a burger for everyone. The classic shack burger for people who like tradition, to the mushroom burger for the vegetarians. I will warn the beef tasted a little too salty, so be careful for those watching their sodium intake... Make sure to try their Pride Shake! It is very fruity and creamy and will fill you up. Not to mention they donate part of the proceeds to the Trevor Project, an amazing cause! read more

I don't know why this place is so popular. When the mall is busy, the lines here are intolerably long, and yet the food and service are pretty unremarkable. I got some kind of regular burger with cheese and lettuce and sauce, and it was fine. The fries were VERY average. I got a concrete mixer that tasted great, though, so there's that. The people working behind the counter were not very enthusiastic. They also gave me a pager-thing which was pointless, because they just called my name out and didn't page me. The condiment stand was out of some of its supplies. Honestly, you could pay half as much and just go to the Burger King right down the hall. Or if you want a really good version of this type of food, go across the mall to Johnny Rocket's. read more

I've been dying to try Shake Shack, but honestly it was very underwhelming and did not live up to the hype. I mean it's a decent burger, just not as amazing as I thought it would be. The crinkle cut fries are definitely worth it though. I didn't realize I had to tell the person I wanted tomatoes and lettuce on my burger. I just assumed it would come with it. However, I received my burger with just the patty between the buns. I felt kind of dumb. Luckily, my boyfriend let me have his lettuce and tomatoes. I wish they would put everything on it and you would tell them what you DON'T want on it. Other places do it like that, so I just assumed Shake Shack would do the same. I would try Shake Shack again, but maybe not here. I would wanna try the one in New York instead. read more

I have been to a Shake Shack preciously in Vegas but wondered if this place would hold up apart from the scene and environment that goes with Sin City. We were in for a day trip with visiting friends at the Mall of America and decided to hit Shake Shack. We ordered the traditional cheeseburger, a hot dog, the mushroom burger and fries. You can tell the budgets are fresh and there is a greasy but delicious taste that comes in every bite. The crinkle fries are amazing, cooked to perfection and are a great addition to the burgers. The mint shake and chocolate malt were to die for and the overarching best part of our meal. The ice cream was terrific. However, here's why I'm rating it a 3/5. The "Christmas sugar cookie" flavor title is rather misleading. There are red and green sprinkles, with a small amount of crumbled sugar cookie on top. All this was just piled on top of the whipped cream. I would've preferred that all the toppings were blended throughout, and also more toppings included. Because once I ate the whipped cream, I was just eating plain icecream. The burgers looked absolutely wonderful. So if I'm back, I'll give them a shot! read more

Wasn't that big of an order, and NO employee wanted to make eye contact in fear of having to actually help a customer. This was definitely an example of a place being short staffed.
