    The Box Combo $12

Ok, I have to admit I didn't think I would like this place, but the kids kept asking to come here and now I think it's pretty good. There are SO many fried chicken options nearby, why come here, right? But seriously, we got the yummiest, most tender but still crunchy chicken strips today. And yes, the sauce really is that yummy. The Texas toast was pretty good too. However, our fries were very bland and not that crispy. I'm not a fan of coleslaw in general so I wasn't surprised that I didn't like their coleslaw either. Can't speak to the ambiance as we only did drive through and took it home.

Solid food from a drive through! They have a limited menu but that makes it easier! Just a few chicken meal options to pick. I always go with the strips because they're so good and crispy! You NEED to try the canes sauce with it as well, you won't regret it. Most meals come With toast and coleslaw. The toast is sightly sweet and so yummy. The line can be really long sometimes so be aware of that, otherwise it's a great place to stop!

I love Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. I first stumbled across this franchise at an outlet mall in New Orleans a few years ago. Ever since that experience, I get the same combo whenever I am stateside and have never been disappointed. Roughly a month ago, I stayed in Eagan. I was driving back to the hotel and noticed this Raising Cane's. It was ridiculously close by that I knew that it would be deadly. Last Saturday, I arrived in the Twin Cities. I stayed in Eagan again. I stopped by a couple of places and then dropped by Cane's for dinner. It must have been 7:30 pm. It was busy inside. There was also a drive-thru. I decided to get some food and take it back to my hotel room. My usual is the box combo. It comes with four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Cane's sauce, coleslaw, and Texas toast. It also comes with a fountain drink. I placed my order and got a nice woman helping me out. She gave me my total and I thanked her. The drive-thru was equally as busy as inside the eatery. I didn't mind it. It gave me time to take photos around the building. I also got to take a photo of Cane the dog, who is the inspiration behind the eatery's name. I finally made it to the window. I paid using a credit card. I am so not used to handing over my credit card for the staff member to swipe it on my behalf. Yep, I'm the Canadian who likes debit and tap. I got my food and thanked the woman. I then drove back to my hotel, which maybe took a grand total of three minutes without exceeding any speed limit. I got back to my room to dig in. This place makes the best chicken fingers. They are juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I still wish that Canada had this franchise. I'd be there all the time. I typically don't go for side rolls or starter bread unless I am hungry. I tend to save it for the following day or give it to a bread fan who is dining with me. I will never share my Texas toast from Cane's with you. It's that good. It's crispy, chewy, buttery, tasty,... and it's all mine! Yeah, I'm typically a sharing person, but I can't here. Get your own! Well, I'd probably buy you some instead... lol If you have been following along for a bit, you know that I'm not a fries person. I do have exceptions, though. Crinkle-cut fries are one of them. I love dipping them in ketchup or Cane's sauce. the ridges make the fries special. You get more goodness. These fries were crispy and perfectly done. I like that you get a small coleslaw in this combo. I used to avoid coleslaw like the plague. I have grown to like it. It was fresh and creamy. It's impressive that you can get all this food for under $8. The downside is that when I return home, I can't find chicken fingers at a drive-thru that are of this caliber of yumminess. You know that I'll be back for more. (106)

There's always a big line when I go around lunch time but it's always worth the wait. Their chicken and fries are always freshly cooked.

The interior is modern and inviting, with some fun wallpaper making a statement. We cozied up to the bar during this visit. I will say that bar was a bit sloppy during our visit...bartenders' water bottles cluttering the visible space, bartenders spilling our drinks a bit during delivery, and weird transitions of staff that were a bit distracting. The Espresso Martini was the best item I ordered! Well balanced and the addition of the cold foam really made for an enjoyable sip. Would absolutely return for that one! The bites we ordered had great flavor, but some fell a bit flat when trying to live up to their creative ideas. The Fried Pickles were the best food item: perfectly crispy medallions with two delicious dipping sauces. The "burnt ends" cauliflower are really just roasted cauliflower with BBQ sauce on top, missing out on the umami juiciness of their namesake. The Chips that came with the Dip were just ruffled potato chips, not housemade or interesting. Solid spot for happy hour if you're looking in the area!

Very reasonable for the quality and vibe. We ordered the cauliflower burnt ends, fried pickles, and chips & dip. Everything came out flavorful and fresh. The cauliflower especially was a standout -- seasoned well with that perfect texture. The staff was helpful and very informative, which I always appreciate when trying a spot for the first time. The atmosphere gives after-work energy -- a place where you can unwind with coworkers or commune with family and friends. And the background tunes were on point. Happy Hour is getting a 4.5/5 from me. I'll definitely be back to keep this series going.

At that point, I knew I was in for a treat. Any dining establishment packed at non-peak dining times must be a local favorite. I got the Thursday special: meatloaf with BBQ glaze, mashed potatoes, and char grilled corn. Meatloaf is one of my comfort foods, and this one really delivered. It was cooked perfectly; moist on the inside, a nice sear on the outside, and tangy BBQ sauce. The mashed potatoes and corn were pitch perfect too; I especially liked the char on the corn. The vibe is rustic casual, with ample large screen TVs for catching a sports game. Our server brought the wrong beer (light beer instead of Surly) , but made it right when we pointed it out. The acoustics were great; which is hard to find in populated places with a concrete floor. There is a parking lot. I'm already imagining a return visit next Thursday for more meatloaf!

The platter included two drums, four wings, pork potstickers, bulgogi fries, and Korean street corn with coleslaw. Service seemed limited (it looked like only two staff members), but the food came out quickly and was excellent. Crispy wings, great flavor, and everything tasted fresh. That first visit left a strong impression. Second visit (the next day): The restaurant was much busier, and unfortunately, the service didn't hold up. I waited about 15 minutes just to be seated and never got the chance to place an order. Eventually, I had to leave, which was disappointing, especially since I enjoyed the food so much the day before. Overall: The food is really good and definitely worth trying, but service consistency needs improvement. I'm willing to give it another shot, just hoping for a smoother experience next time.

I gotta stop believing yelp reviews. People want quantity over quality on this app and this place…read moreis a great example of that. There's nothing redeeming about this place. Yelp reviewers have no taste. They just want a slab of meat and they're all happy. I should've tried their sauces before I bought anything. The barbecue sauces were all ketchup based. They added in too much apple cider vinegar and the sauces were too viscous and runny. A good barbecue sauce has molasses, brown sugar, and tomato sauce not ketchup and white sugar which is what these were made from. I'd have been better off bringing in my own bottle of barbecue sauce from the grocery store. We ordered a half rack 6 ribs and two sides of coleslaw and potato salad. The coleslaw was runny and too liquidy. It had zero buttermilk in it. It was also made with apple cider vinegar which is a HUGE NO, NO. The potato salad was meh. No mustard. Just white potato salad. THEY HAD NO CORNBREAD! How much does a box of jiffy cornbread cost?!? Seriously, this business should NOT be in the rib business. The half rack of ribs: DRY, DRY, DRY. They were baked way too long. The ribs were flavor-less. I would not go back again. It's a huge shame for a rib joint to be this bad. The ribs were such a huge disappointment. Not even a smoked flavor was ever detected. I hope they don't go down the liquid smoke route either because that's just driving off a cliff at that point. I'm DONE listening to yelp reviews. Yall have no clue what you're talking about.

The bar was nearly empty, there were maybe 5 people in the bar/restaurant when we arrived. I don't think it was slow on the bartenders part as much as it was our server. A couple Guinness, a black and tan and a hot cider later, we waited to order food. While eating we decided we didn't want to wait any longer for our server so we went to the bar to ask for waters, our drinks long gone at this point. We also got up to get our own ketchup. Burger was fine but mostly flavorless. Cottage pie was fine, had I not been starving I likely wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. The food was just OK, nothing memorable or spectacular about it. Prices were pretty high for what it was, $17 for a cheeseburger is pretty outrageous, cottage pie in a ramekin was $18. Server wasn't very friendly, or was just in a bad mood that day.
