The craziest thing is it's a chicken place and they always serve biscuits in the morning with breakfast. You can't get a biscuit past 10:30. One time I had ordered a biscuit separate before 10:30 but by the time I got up to the drive-thru it was like 10:33 and they wouldn't give me the biscuit. Instead they told me to pick something else. So I picked the fries which are terrible and cost more. It's just like it can be a biscuit. I wanted a biscuit. Delicious fast food chicken. This is my 5 year old niece's fav restaurant. She LOVES the Chick-n-Strips and the Play area! I loved my deluxe chicken sandwich. Decor is casual modern and fit our family comfortably. The play area is so cute and is a perfect place for little ones to play safely while we wait for our food. They also have a large kids menu with pictures by the registers so that little kids can just point to what they want... genius! Service was nice and friendly too. I took away one star because they are still using styrofoam cups and plastic straws and I wish they would use more environmentally friendly materials. read more

The other night, I was headed to Culver's to grab a bite to eat. Across from it was Chick-fil-A. I changed my mind and headed over here instead. I used the drive-thru. I had never had Chick-fil-A in Minnesota until now. I saw the peppermint milkshake at the drive-thru order area and knew that I needed to order it. I got it as part of a Chick-fil-A deluxe sandwich combo with waffle fries. The deluxe part means that your sandwich has lettuce, tomatoes, and American cheese. There was a lineup, but it was moving well. When I reached the window, I paid with a credit card. All was well. I got my food fairly fast. I thanked the man, who was polite and nice both at the order area and at the window, and headed back to the hotel. I ate in my hotel room. I started with the peppermint chip milkshake. I loved the maraschino cherry with a stem on top. It was a nice touch. The downside was the cup itself. It was made of cheap styrofoam. I have never punctured a styrofoam cup with my left pointer finger before, but it happened. Luckily, I saved my shake by pouring it into a cereal bowl in my kitchenette, and then pouring it into an empty beverage cup that could fit this milkshake. If this styrofoam cup wasn't so cheap in quality, I'd give this place five stars. The milkshake was yummy. I loved the candy cane and chocolate bits in this shake. It was minty and cheerful. It wasn't overly thick. If you haven't had a Chick-fil-A sandwich, you should when you have a chance. It's special in that it has pickles and a salt-sugar brine is used to make the fried chicken taste so delicious. So addictive! It works with the crispy coating and the tender chicken meat. So good! The lettuce and tomatoes gave me the false sense of eating some veggies for dinner. The bun was soft. It was great. The waffle fries were so good. I got Chick-fil-A sauce and dunked every single waffle fry in it. This sauce is magical, probably due to all the spices in it. I loved it so much that I could dunk something that I didn't like in this sauce and I'd love it. I'd definitely come back and get some more yummy food. I can only hope that this place gets rid of styrofoam cups. Otherwise, I'm going to need a backup cup that's far more sturdy. (494) read more

Today is Veterans Day. I went to the Chick-fil-A located Eagan, MN. I requested the free Chicken biscuit that was advertised. I was informed at the drive thru that they were doing this. I asked why? The answer was we are just not doing it. It was further stated that they were doing the offer in Apple Valley, MN. I stated that so the Chick-Fil-A in Eagan does not appreciate their Veterans. I then requested the manager and gave him aa three finger salute. Because it was exactly what this restaurant was telling Veterans. It is not about the getting something free. The employees are so incredibly friendly and happy, the store is clean and so are the bathrooms and kids area. Came to this location on the early side of lunch with my two toddlers. The staff was polite and courteous. I ordered grilled ck and breaded ck nuggets with fruit cups for my kids and a ck club sandwich for myself. The quality and taste was good and the fruit portions were very generous and everything was fresh! The play area was inviting and picked up. Perfect for their age group. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the dining area and bathroom. They kept everything wiped, clean, and filled. Normally a bathroom at a fast food restaurant is a gamble, but I was pleasantly surprised. This location is wonderful. Went here for lunch today. Typically I always have a great experience at all chick-fil-a locations, today was an exception to that. My friend and I went to get some lunch, he went up to order and the lady at the register was acting rudely and told him they have no cheese sauce on stock today but then at the next register another cashier was helping some people and they asked for cheese sauce and their cashier gave them some for their order. So the lady at the register with my friend refused to give him cheese sauce while the other cashiers got some for their customers... Finally I went up and ordered some cheese sauce and from the cashier helping the other people and she happily gave me cheese sauce. So I'm not sure what the issue was but it gave me a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Being a gluten free family isn't hard when places like Chick-fil-A offer gluten free buns and grilled chicken nuggets. We stopped by the new location today in Eagan, and were very impressed. The paint still smells fresh in the entryway but the smell wasn't noticeable once inside the double door. Our favorite meals include the market salad and the grilled nuggets. To start I visited 8/31, ordered my FREE 8 piece chicken NOT BREADED (Gluten Free) and waffles fries TO GO. Arrived home, I was given breaded chicken abd unable to eat them... didn't want to waste food so the dog ate them and BTW lived them. I called store around 6pm to give my complaint, busy time for restaurants so I left message. On 9/4 I stopped in after work to get my chicken and order some waffle fries. Manager was very nice. She looked in log book and it was not completed and of course no record of my call. Manager said it wasn't a problem and took care of it. I told her I was going to order and pay for my fries. Manager said no! She personally delivered my bag of food. Not only was I given my waffle fries but manager gave me 12 piece instead of my original 8 piece. Manager went above and beyond. Had a pleasant experience here this morning. I was a bit concerned about going there for breakfast but I heard there was a kids play area there too. We had a great time. Food was freshly prepared and service was top notch for a fast food restaurant. My friend and I got to have a nice visit while our kids played in a clean environment. we have always enjoyed Chick-fil-A but will not be back to the Eagan store until they decide to open up their dinning room. There drive through service is great, but I personally don't enjoy eating in my car. Twice we have had an issue where their Styrofoam cup has cracked and leaked all over the inside of the vehicle. I am sure the Styrofoam is supposed to be an improvement over waxed paper, but not enjoying having lemonade all over my console and seat. We will not be back until they decide to open up again. if you haven't noticed all COVID restrictions have been lifted - time to get back to normal. You will not find a staff as friendly, courteous, clean cut, articulate and helpfull in other drive thu fastfood resturaunt that can hold a candle to them.. Those good old fashion Christian values and southern hospitality shines through, cleaniness, well mannered, decent treatment is why it is hard not to like the place..unlike their competitors you will not be treated like a bother or feel like as if you're buying food from a drive thru tattoo parlor.
