I hope I have the right McDonald's. This review is for the location in the Town Center. I grew with McDonald's. Then the quality was excellent then. The food was consistent with each visit. Unfortunately, the quality has slipped to just about zero. That being said, I was an executive restaurant manager, including Burger King. I was also a food service training manager; both longer than I care to remember. I know the tricks. Today's order was delivered to my house. The fries were very old. My guess is they were at least 45 minutes past the holding time. The bun was stale. No idea how they did that, unless they are using a cheaper bun. If this was the only time it happened I'd say they were having a bad day, this is the 3 order I had to throw out in the last 3 weeks. I know inflation has hit everyone. I understand ingredients are sky rocketing, however huge price increases and cheaper ingredients is not a good combination. I still have my memories. read more

I don't normally hit a McDonald's when I'm in the States. I came to this one three times. Desperate times. Hangry. It was the main reason for my first visit. I came back two other times to this location. My second visit was great. My third was disappointing. My rating is definitely a mixed bag at 3.5 stars. I'm rounding down. After spending a few hours in frigid temperatures outdoors at the Winter Classic, by the time I got near the hotel, it was just past 10 pm. I needed dinner. I like the stretch along Town Centre Drive. Not only is Centre spelled the Canadian way, but it has a bunch of fast food eateries with drive-thrus -- ideal during a pandemic. It's drive-thru alley in my books. The downside during this recent surge of the Omicron variant is that it has hit the fast food restaurants in this area hard. Burger King, an eatery that I still haven't dropped by, is closed by 8 pm. Pretty much every eatery in this area was closed this evening, except for Perkins and McDonald's. I didn't feel like dining in at Perkins. I wanted to park myself in front of the TV in my hotel room and warm up while stuffing myself with a late dinner. I hit the drive-thru at this McDonald's, which is open 24 hours a day, except for Christmas. This evening called for desperate measures. There was only one lane open at the drive-thru, which was the case for all three of my visits. There was a wait, but I was fine thawing out in my car. When I was closer to the menu, I noticed a deal to pick any two items for $6. It was so cheap that it didn't seem real. I got a nice man on the other end of the speaker. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and a ten-piece chicken McNuggets box. I was so hungry that I also got small fries. I paid with a credit card. All was great. I got my food fairly fast. I thanked the man and drove back to the hotel. This statement will sound weird. My meal felt so comforting after being out in what was -32°C with the windchill. I devoured the quarter pounder with cheese first. It was delicious. I had to take some of the huge onion chunks out of it because I don't like super raw onions in my burger. The thinner ones were fine that didn't burn my tongue. I loved my chicken McNuggets. I can't remember when I last had some. They were crispy with white meat. I got sweet and sour sauce. This place gave me two of these sauce packs and they were more than enough for dipping. The fries hit the spot. I had some sweet and sour sauce left over that I dipped my fries in it. The fries were crispy with the perfect amount of salt on them. Several days later, I returned and ordered the same thing, minus the small fries. I felt the same way. Yummy! I attended my last Wild game on this trip two Saturday nights ago. I got back to my hotel area just before 11 pm and experienced the same issue with finding a restaurant that was open. I hit this McD's again. Sadly, when I approached the window, I got the longest speech from a man on the other end of the speaker. He was essentially saying that the place was short-staffed. You could only order food through various food apps. I could not place an order there without going through an app. I was disappointed. I could have pulled out my Uber Eats app, placed an order, and got back into the lineup. I wasn't feeling it. I left. It would have been nice if a note or something was posted on the menu at the drive-thru. It would prevent this man from repeating himself and would allow customers like me to leave without any interaction with staff. I hope that staffing improves here. It's tough during this pandemic, so it's completely understandable. I ended up going to Wendy's five minutes away and got some dinner before I ate my sneaker in hunger. (23) read more

We frequent this location quite often and have not had many problems. One we consistently have is that they forget many things. And it's sometimes full meals too. The service is okay, with most workers being distracted and not being very conversational with customers. I would recommend only going here as a last resort. read more

If I could give this place, zero,stars, I would. I waited 45 minutes for two cokes in this line... What a joke! It's 930 at night it's not even rush-hour, and these people do not have their act together! Whoever the manager is should be fired. Whoever the rude person was that talk to me should be fired. States they are a 24/7 business, I called to make sure they were open at 2am and to make sure their Frappuccino Machine was working. They answered and stated they are open and that the machine does work. I drove literally not even two minutes to the establishment closed. The screens through the drive-through were off.. read more

Poor. No lobby service, only drive through. This is not reflected on the App. It's a busy location that is severely understaffed. Expect a wait of 10-30 mins for what is a SLOW food experience. read more

Typical Mcdonalds with typical drive thru people, who look and act like they don't care about their jobs. If these people are so miserable, why don't they get another job? I was there and only ordered cookies. It took the gentleman several minutes to acknowledge I was there to take my order. I don't get told a total, just to pull around to the next window. As I'm ready to hand him my card, he begins taking someone else's order. I pay and pull up to the next window and my cookies are apparently sitting in a bag on the counter, 2 minutes later the lady hands it to me, no thank you, no have a nice day, no smile, no nothing! The staff treated me excellently and gave me great food! The burgers were well done and tasted great, I do think the ice cream machine was faulty and they made me wait 10 extra minutes but other than that it was good. Recommend this for all jolly families! read more

This McDonalds is usually our go to as it's the closest...I think anyways. We have always gone through the drive thru until today. I decided to sit in the lobby with the kids to get them out of the house and let them make a mess somewhere else. Well, looks like someone beat us to it. This place is filthy. This place needs to be pressure washed floor to ceiling...literally spit wads on the ceiling. Standing in line I noticed the smoothie machine? Was beyond gross..never ordering a smoothing or coffee from this place. Walls are full of grease/ food marks. Soda machine is nasty! Lord..anyone ever hear about soap and water? Lysol wipes? Anything? I kinda want a job here cleaning. I feel like I need to sanitize myself and children now. Food was standard McDonalds with an abnormal wait, but this one is always busy. read more

I walk in to this McDonald's location and immediately greeted by a friendly order counter staff. The food was ready quick and fresh made. The restaurant was clean and I was checked on again by two other staff before I left. This was a huge contrast to the experience I had down the street where I had just walked out of Taco Bell without ordering after waiting 10 minutes at the counter. That place at 8:00p on a Tuesday only had two cars in line when I arrived and when I left. They didn't speak or even look to the counter for new inside customers needing to place an order. I took my daughter for a late breakfast. I ordered using my rewards.app. I ordered one plain hamburger and one hamburger with no pickles extra onions...and one large fry. My order was taken super quickly. Got through giving my money...quick! When my food came...fries were hot...score! So I left. Everytime you go there after 11pm they have cash only and don't even accept the app, went there again recently and it was the same problem and they were just hanging out with there friends in the drive through not even a drive through order. If you do have cash they sign very loudly to you and ask 'do you really want to order' crazy! Terrible customer service! read more

There are McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King and Arby's one after another on this street in addition to Perkins and Applebee's here. On the other side and within the main Eagan Town Center side there are a bit more unique restaurants. I don't really drive but I got the idea real quick that this particular street is somewhere a lot of people who drive through Eagan go through. In terms of food, this is very...McDonald's. read more

Worst McDonald's ever. 3 times I've given this McDonald's a chance and each time I've been failed. Once I can and they were telling everyone they close at midnight to clean from 12-1 and supposably it's every night??? Next time I came I had to wait 55 minutes in the drive through to only receive cold food. They were telling everyone at the drive through it would be a 10 minute wait per car and there was 5-6 cars ahead of me so yes I did agree to that but ridiculous as it was cold food. Tonight I go only to be told they are closed until 1am due to maintenance. This McDonald's really needs corporate to come in and get it together. It's absolutely ridiculous. read more

Favorite Mcdonald's in the area, the same evening/overnight manager (woman, long blonde hair) is always working when we come and is always friendly. The food is usually fresh and hot. Happy to drive the ten extra minutes to go to this mcdonald's. Only 4 stars because of the occasional wait but it's understandable since overnight shifts are usually only two people. read more

I was having a great morning. My 1year old was cooperative, got out of the house early, traffic was light. I had so much extra time I decided to stop here to pickup breakfast on my way to work. Well, after they screwed up my order and I had to circle around the entire mall through the increasing traffic and get back to the store to get it fixed. Have been going to this McDonald's for years, but had the worst experience EVER there recently. So gross I am tempted to report it to the MN Department of Health! First, the cheeseburger was hard crusted on top and all stuck together in the middle ~~ clearly, it had been sitting around for a very long time. Most disgusting was when I asked for lemons for my ice tea, the server at the drive up counter lifted the lid with his bare hands and again used his bare hands to pick up a lemon and put it in the cup, even touching the beverage with his hands. Sure hope he washes up after going to the bathroom! Also, unable to eat the apples because of an overwhelming chemical residue and taste. read more
