Yome was my therapist today and as an ending to my 30th birthday trip full of hiking this was the…read morebest decision ever! I got a Thai/swedish blend and she definitely got in there! I had to ask for less pressure a couple times which is rare for me but time accommodated me well. as an LMT myself I loved getting some ideas for a couple new techniques she preformed. I would've preferred to have the heat warmer on the table on c of the thin sheets and the front desk girl was kind of short with me after but otherwise I'd rate the experience 8/10 and would return. Very homey Japanese feel

Was long overdue for a massage so I decided to try out Project Zen for the first time. Keep in mind if you schedule your appointment on Sundays, parking is free! I received a gift certificate for a 1 hour Deep Tissue Massage. When it comes to gift certificates, you cannot book your service through their website, so I decided to go in person to make my appointment. The lady who helped me was super friendly and made me feel welcomed. It was highly recommended from the person who gifted me the gift certificate to either book with Wendy, due to her pressure of really getting in those tight areas, or May, who was also really great. It just so happened May was available for the time that worked for me. The spa is clean, May came to greet me right on time, she asked me if I had any area's I wanted her to focus on, and checked in on me multiple times throughout the massage to confirm her pressure was ok. I never felt so relaxed and so comfortable. I would definitely recommend booking with May for your next massage in Burlingame!

They don't honor their advertised packages as they are currently listed on their website. The current regular prenatal rate shown on their website is $145 for 90 minutes, so three sessions would be $435 instead of the advertised package price of $360. I had a massage with Kai before and had been referred by a longtime customer, but when I asked about the 3 prenatal massage package during my last massage less than 6 weeks ago, she did not say they had stopped honoring the prenatal package when I directly stated my intent to buy and schedule it. In my view, if a package is discontinued, it should not still be advertised with a booking button. Under California's consumer protection laws, including the California False Advertising Law (Business and Professions Code § 17500) and California Unfair Competition Law (Business and Professions Code § 17200): * Businesses generally may not advertise goods or services in a way that is likely to deceive a reasonable consumer. * Intent to deceive is not always required. An advertisement that is likely to mislead can still violate the law.
