This used to be my go-to Thai massage spot in Burlingame...until I was charged a last-minute cancellation fee. I had called to cancel because I was sick, and even after explaining that, they still charged me. I understand they have therapists to pay and overhead to cover, but I was hoping for a one-time exception given the situation. It makes you wonder--would they have preferred I show up and risk getting others sick? They said it's their policy, but it was never mentioned when I booked over the phone. They later pointed to an email with their policies, saying I should have known, which didn't sit well with me. As for the massages, they can be hit or miss--I've only had one truly great masseuse there. To be fair, the staff is polite, nice, and respectful. But this experience left a sour taste, and it made me feel like they didn't really value a returning customer. read more

My 2nd time here and it was just as good as the first time. The first time I had "A" who did my 90 min massage and it set the standard. The 2nd time and I did a package that was 2 hours long and this time Wan did my massage and it was amazing. Its like she knew exactly which parts hurt and would adjust. Selected deep tissue massage. Arrived and greeted immediately by receptionist Grace with a smile and a good morning. She introduced me to my Masseur Zenon. He is young with gifted hands! I would rate Zenon a 5 out of 5. The massage was so great that I booked another appointment with Zenon on Tuesday the 14th! It was $175 for 90 minutes. It was well spent $350 not including tip! Let me tell you ... dont let her small figure, sweet voice fool you. This lady is STRONG! She worked on every muscle you can think of even muscles I didn't know needed kneeding. The entrance is beautifully decorated, setting a calm and welcoming tone right away. We were quickly checked in and given slippers to wear inside. Our massage therapists walked us back to our room--just a note that the rooms are divided by curtains, and for our couples massage, the curtain between our spaces was opened. While that setup could allow for some ambient noise, we found the music easily tuned everything out. It felt peaceful and calming throughout. The therapeutic massage was exactly what I needed. It involved a mix of stretching and pressure work that helped release the tension in my neck and traps. My massage therapist was attentive, checked in about pressure, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.
