This place is cute, friendly and super affordable! The front desk was so sweet and answered all questions. Filled a Swedish massage intake form. Had some herbal tea. Met Yue Yue, highly recommend and the pressure was on point. Focused on my tight shoulders and also included Chinese pressure points and lymphatic facial massage! Yes I was surprised and enjoyed it! Will be coming back and I highly recommend! Book on weekdays as parking is much easie

After lots of walking and hiking while traveling, my friend recommended cloud 9 foot massage center. Parking is with meters along the street. I like the penguin decor because I love these cute animals. There have several services that they offer besides foot massage. It was easy to book an appointment online. The host was friendly upon check in. Foot massages are done in a communal room with at least 6 stations in one room. Generally very quiet with relaxing music playing. The massage therapist was very efficient and had soft hands though seemed that the technique was very standard as if counting the number of movements for each part of foot and also the body. Massage therapist still massaged from top of head to arms etc but as mentioned very standard. Overall, my tired feet feel overall better. Still a good experience.

A family friendly spa that is my go for family outings because of their quality. Our therapists are Tom Kelly and Louisa. Service is great.

Amazing 1 hour foot massage with Jenny. This was my first visit back in years since they moved from Oceanic in Foster City. Burlingame seemed to be a little too far but I happened to be in the area and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint!!!!!! I without a doubt will be returning.

A friend recommended Cosh so I decided to give it a try. When I made my appointment, I filled out a short questionnaire - length of hair, extensions/no extensions, etc. Also asked if I wanted a cooling or warming eye mask. I decided on a Rejuvenate treatment. When I arrived, Whitney greeted me. I was offered a beverage while waiting then was given a warm face towel to freshen up. Molly took me to her station to set me up. She took photos of my scalp. Whitney came over to explain what I was looking at. Based on those photos, she informed Molly which products would be best to use. Even though my scalp was in good condition, Whitney suggested an exfoliating/nourishing scalp solution. She asked about my pain tolerance as some clients felt it irritated their scalp. She told me that if anything bothered me, I should tell Molly immediately and she would make sure I was OK (e.g. if the scalp solution burned, tell Molly and she would immediately rinse it out). During the treatment, my scalp felt a bit irritated. If Molly was massaging that part of my scalp it was fine. There was a point where steam was used as part of the treatment. My throat wasn't happy but it was stopped. Afterwards, there wasn't an appreciable change since my scalp was already in good condition. It looked like it had been moisturized. My hair felt softer. I was relaxed and happy. Whitney suggested I massage my scalp the next few day to get the most out of the "red light" treatment. I've been doing that and my scalp feels looser. The entire experience was lovely. I left feeling pampered. I'll be back.

I came here for a hydrafacial and cleanse for my scalp in the evening. Booking online is swift and can be done with no issues! The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and we chit chatted about going to Japan together. She also recommended that I upgraded from cleanse to the detox package, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The woman giving me my scalp analysis spoke quite thoroughly on the state of my scalp and how I would continue forward to take care of it. I would recommend not washing your hair the day of or day before to get the most out of your analysis, she did mention it was a bit difficult to ascertain the state of it (but it was still clear from the photos up close). She mentioned that our scalp is similar to our face skin, I have combination for both (oily in the T zones and dry on the other portions/sides of my head). I still had a decent amount of sebaceous filaments after my hydrafacial, but I would come back here again for the scalp spa experience. It's very cozy and tucked on the outskirts of downtown Burlingame where there's plenty of residential parking and a parking structure. The workers are friendly and the interior has a calm ambiance that's very conducive to a relaxing experience.

After the consultation, you move to the treatment beds where the real relaxation begins. For about 50 minutes they gently massage your scalp while applying different products. While the treatment works its magic, they also massage your neck and shoulders. It's incredibly calming. Next, you move to a chair for the blow dry, but they keep the relaxation going by offering a blanket and an eye cover. They also use red light therapy and other equipment on your scalp. At the end, they show you your scalp again so you can see the results of the treatment. I can honestly say it's one of the most relaxed I've ever felt. Definitely worth the price.

When I walked in, there were already 2 dudes there so I guess scalp rinses are for everyone. I've never had one before so this was new to me. First off, it's expensive so think of it more like a luxury. You're looking at $200+ for a 70 minute session including tip. They start off by examining your scalp with a high powered lens. The woman manager was funny because she couldn't upsell me in product because my scalp didn't have flakes so she said it was oily and that if I could go bald with oily hair. Say what?!? So no upsell for me LOL. My personal was Vicky and she was great. Great shoulder massage to start and then for the next hour it was washing hair with deep hair masks that smelled like eucalyptus and lavender. She gave me an eye mask that was heated and it felt like it was cooling my eyes so I asked her to switch it out for a cool eye mask which she did. So much better. Afterwards she dries my hair and another quick scalp and shoulder massage in the chair before she showed me my scalp under that microscope lens again. The funny part is my scalp looked exactly the same LOL. 4 stars for Vicky thought she worked hard, and it was one of the best shoulder massages I can recall.

This is my secret spa when I need total rejuvenation…read more I've come here after international trips to decompress from 15+ hour flights, and every time, it resets my entire nervous system. What stands out immediately is how curated the experience is from the moment you walk in. Even the names of the services feel intentional and aligned: there's a clear brand philosophy behind everything they do. The decor is thoughtful, not overwhelming, and once you enter the massage space, the experience becomes even more personalized. You first enter the sliding wooden doirs to a crystal grid, and the therapist actually takes the time to understand your body--areas of concern, areas to avoid--which is incredibly important. Not all massages are created equal. When a therapist works with your body instead of just applying routine techniques, the experience becomes far more effective. Afterward, you step into this walkway that feels like an evening on Malibu Beach--the sound of large ocean waves, the lighting, the atmosphere. It pulls you into the present moment in a way that feels intentional + ritualistic. Inside the room, everything is designed for comfort and immersion. The tables are warm, there's a soft white fur blanket, and even the smallest details are intentional: the cute tiny Tibetan bowls where you place your belongings. When you pick them up at the end, it creates this subtle, calming chime. It's those small nuances that make the experience feel iconic! Each massage therapist has their own artistry, but they all follow a unified philosophy. The use of essential oils, guided breathing, and the ambient sound of ocean waves creates a full sensory experience. At times, it genuinely feels like you're on a coastal retreat--there's even this subtle quality in the air that mimics that ocean freshness. Kinda like salt [reminds me of those himalayan salt rooms in jimjilbangs in Korea]. Even the restroom is clean, calming, and consistent with the overall experience. Usually a candle of their signature smell is lit...nothing feels like an afterthought. I've had massages all over the world, and this place is something special. It's not just about getting a massage--it's about the environment, the intention, and how your body is guided into relaxation. That level of care makes a difference. The staff is warm, some know me by name, and it always feels like I'm stepping into a space where healing is the priority: physically and for the nervous system. If you become a member, it's also much more reasonable to come regularly, which I highly recommend. This place is precise, intentional, and beautifully executed. I love it. My true oasis in The Bay Area.

I said I had a gift certificate. The receptionist said I know but we can't get the gift certificate to work. I said it was bought on your website and I had the email - from the salon - showing the gift certificate and amount ($150). The lady said what is your daughter's information, I need to figure out how she bought the gift certificate. I said she's 15. She bought the gift certificate on your webpage and I received an email - from your salon - telling me I had a $150 massage for your salon. The lady said okay, it's okay. You don't have to pay. I said, well I do because I spent $160 on a massage because of things I added and I also want to include a tip. So I'll pay the difference. The lady said okay. She said she'd charge my credit card the $10 difference plus what I wanted to leave as a tip. I thought all was well only to come home to see a charge for the entire cost of the massage plus the tip. They didn't honor the gift certificate which was from their website. I tell you, I go to have a massage for stress relief, but this place is SO stressful with the disorganization of the business. I was going to go again, but after all is said and done there is no way I'd ever go back again. They caused me stressed. I'll need to dispute the charge now with my credit card company. It was not worth it for all the stress. They have a membershio which I was thinking about joining but I won't now. I don't trust people who operate like this.
