Love this place, clean and friendly staff and does a great job with the massage. Will be coming back shortly.

The best foot spa in this price range! Clean, soothing, professional, with friendly front desk staff. Got the 30/30 and the hour flew by. So relaxing! Will definitely return. read more

My homegirl brought me to her go-to foot massage spot. A nice overall ambiance spot, with higher quality massage chair, blanket, music, lights, private rooms, etc Prices are $60 for a foot massage, $5 off each if you buy a package of 5, and they have a tip guide, which suggests $20 for 60 minutes. The tea was great, but I burned my tongue pretty bad. The massage therapist has skills, but pressure was lacking. read more

The massage was quite relaxing and refreshing! I had Eva, and I'll definitely be scheduling again. However, the ownership and front desk....sheesh. Upon calling to make reservation was not asked, TOLD "when you tip, do it in cash". Upon arriving for the appointment "we close soon, tip ahead of time, do you have cash, want to Zelle, how do you want to tip?" The next morning, EARLY my wife got a text "we notice you didn't tip, is this intentional? Would you like to tip now? How much would you like to tip?Would you like to Zelle, use cash?" It goes on and on, they badger you to tip, and do it in cash so they can get money and not report. And my appointment was at 9pm, I was in a world of pain, and went to my appointment having forgot my phone. I had the masseuse Info and was going to tip as soon as I woke up, (for context). Summary review: go here, probably get a decent to good massage, but definitely get harassed a tip and do it in cash so that they can avoid the IRS read more

I have been coming to Cloud 9 for almost ten years. There is no better solid massage for the price in the area. Service is consistent, so easy to book. Andy is the BEST!!! read more

Following my previous review, Kaitlin (the manager or owner) reached out to address our concerns and invited us back for another session. We stopped in on a Sunday evening, and I'm delighted to say that I was very pleased with the experience this time around. I opted for the 40/40 combo (40-minute foot/40-minute body) and had Heidi as my therapist. She led me to a dedicated foot massage room that where the ambiance was quiet, relaxing, and clean. While there weren't privacy curtains, the layout provided enough space to not feel like we were packed in like sardines - something most other foot massage places do. I especially appreciated that the staff didn't chat during the session and having a dedicated room with a door really helped minimize outside noise. Heidi did a fantastic job and I actually fell asleep during my session. The body massage was excellent. Heidi had the proper cadence and flow for each stroke, which was a stark contrast to my previous visit where the therapist simply rubbed oil up and down like they were washing my back rather than massaging the muscle. She also checked in periodically to ensure the pressure was right, showing she was truly in tune with her craft. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was due to a few minor points: 1) I wasn't asked about my trouble spots beforehand. On the way out, I noticed a clipboard for clients to circle focus areas, but I was never offered one at check-in. 2) Having to move rooms mid-session was a slight inconvenience. 3) The ergonomics of the foot massage chair weren't ideal as it put a lot of pressure on my lower back, despite having the small lumbar support. read more

I had a terrific one hour massage with Ana today. Top-notch! She smoothly and effectively released much of my muscle tightness, especially in my back, neck and shoulders. I found the setting to be clean, private and quiet. Helpful scheduling at the front desk. Definitely going to return! read more

After lots of walking and hiking while traveling, my friend recommended cloud 9 foot massage center. Parking is with meters along the street. I like the penguin decor because I love these cute animals. There have several services that they offer besides foot massage. It was easy to book an appointment online. The host was friendly upon check in. Foot massages are done in a communal room with at least 6 stations in one room. Generally very quiet with relaxing music playing. The massage therapist was very efficient and had soft hands though seemed that the technique was very standard as if counting the number of movements for each part of foot and also the body. Massage therapist still massaged from top of head to arms etc but as mentioned very standard. Overall, my tired feet feel overall better. Still a good experience. read more

Management reached out to reach a resolution. I've gone back several times and enjoy the deep tissue massage. Do not recommend the masseuse 'Dennis' as it was a poor massage and bad service before. read more

Surprisingly not great. We arrived on time for our 10am appointment, but there was a lot of confusion among the staff. We eventually learned that the front desk person was late, and no one else could assist us. We were finally placed into a room about 15-20 minutes after our scheduled time. Once the couples massage began, I noticed I wasn't asked about pressure preferences, areas of focus, or any other details. The masseuse just started working. We booked a 90 minute shiatsu massage, but it felt more like a deep tissue session, which I didn't want at all. The facility itself was clean, but the bathroom was out of soap, and the massage room lacked any relaxing ambiance. There was no music, and we could clearly hear conversations in the hallway and lobby throughout the session, not what I would expect at any establishment. If you're looking for a truly relaxing experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Also, make sure they provide you with the intake form to specify your preferences, something we never received. There are definitely better massage options out there. read more

Great service. Friendly and professional staff and front desk reception. The massage therapists are considerate and ask if the pressure is ok. They frequently send out offers once you sign up online. read more

We took a chance on Cloud 9 Foot Spa in Burlingame based upon the numerous good reviews on Yelp and came away satisfied with our experience. The "spa" name is a little misleading in its name as the vibe and ambiance of this establishment is almost nonexistence. If you get a foot massage or a combination of some sort, you'll find yourself sitting in a large communal room along with six or seven other patrons. Okay by mall standards, but for somewhere with "spa" in its name, I would hope each would have its own room, but that's neither here or there. The massage was good, but like others have mentioned we weren't asked for our pressure preference and while luckily came away with a good massage, I would have liked more with the experience. Also, during my massage there was a gentlemen that was snoring pretty loudly which made it both bothersome and humorous. Overall, I would recommend this establishment if you're in the mood for a good massage, but if you want more pampering you might want to look elsewhere. read more

Fantastic experience. This place is efficient, easy to book, and had an excellent massage with Eva. I'm a small woman and a lot of places won't give a massage as hard as I like - Eva did a fantastic job and was willing to give the deep kind of massage that I asked for and love. Will be back! read more

Outstanding experience with Jack. I am female, had a foot and body massage and left feeling fantastic!

Usually I do the foot massage but today I had a one hour Swedish massage with Anna. It was the best massage I've ever had. This place is fabulous. Clean, great music, and helpful staff front staff, Kaitlin. read more

Cloud 9 is like a heavenly spa! The booking was easy, customer service was great, and the experience was relaxing. Hubby and I opted for the 30/30 experience where 30 minutes is focused on lower legs and 30 minutes focused on primarily back and other upper extremities. We had Lisa and Sophia and they were amazing and kept checking on us throughout the experience to ensure we were comfortable. Would definitely come back! read more

Cloud 9 Foot Spa is a peaceful and relaxing spot. I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with added hot stones, and it was excellent. Lisa was my masseuse and she did a great job targeting tight areas with the right pressure. The environment was calm, quiet, and welcoming. I left feeling refreshed and relieved of tension. I will definitely return. read more

I booked a day of appointment online. I opted for a hot stone massage and I went with Cindy. Upon walking in, I noticed the storefront to be very clean. When you check in, make sure you state which masseur you have scheduled with to ensure that no mistakes occur. There were a couple of couches for you to sit and wait as well as a water and tea dispenser. The hot stone massage was $80 before tip and honestly so worth it. Cindy was very attentive and would check in when applying pressure to ensure that it wasn't too hard or soft. I told her that I have some lower back pain/injury and she was very careful with that area. What I enjoyed most about the massage was that Cindy really incorporates the hot stones. I felt like with other experiences I've had at other places, they do not really use the hot stones as much. She would use it and lay it on the back, do some more massaging and then go back and grab more hot stones/ swap it out. As for the room itself, it was a tad small. It was not too much of an issue since you're laying in the bed but I can tell/hear when she had to walk around certain objects to get around the room. The spa music was a little low so you can hear the noises outside the door unfortunately. The room and bed was nice and warm and dark enough to create a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I enjoyed my massage here and would definitely come back. FYI, if you check in on Yelp you can get 10% on an hour massage! And don't forget to bring cash for the tip! read more

Positives: I was able to schedule a same-day appointment. Clean establishment. Cons: Front desk person could be more welcoming and should take more time to ask about a clients needs, especially for a first time customer like myself. She was rushing and very transactional. The massage itself was OK, but the language barrier with the massage therapist was disappointing. I won't be back. read more

I really needed massage of my neck/shoulder/head for my migraines. Unfortunately, it is Kelly's day off today. I had Lisa for a deep tissue massage. It did not feel like a deep tissue massage and she did not focus on my neck and head like I requested. It was very disappointing for me but the girl at the front desk was very apologetic and tried to make things right. The girl at the front desk deserves 5 stars. read more

I have been to Cloud9 several times, but my recent experience was highly disappointing. I booked a 30-minute foot massage for 1:30 but wasn't brought into the room until 1:40. The massage itself lasted less than 20 minutes before I was told the session was over. Although the front desk apologized and offered a slight discount, the resolution didn't make up for the cut-short service. I paid for a full 30 minutes, and the rushed experience completely ruined what was meant to be a relaxing visit. read more

Amazing 1 hour foot massage with Jenny. This was my first visit back in years since they moved from Oceanic in Foster City. Solid place with reasonable prices (+10% discount if you check in on yelp!). They also offer some cash deals on specific days, but I don't think you can stack the yelp deal on top of the cash discount. I didn't try though. If you want a specific person, I would recommend booking a few days beforehand as it seems like this spa is quite popular. Upon arrival, we were given a form to circle areas on a body map to focus on or avoid. There was complimentary hot tea and water to enjoy before and after the service. My sister and I decided to get the 60 min Swedish massage and requested the couples room. Pressure was good and my masseuse checked in on me every now and then. She did converse with my sister's masseuse intermittently, but it didn't bother us very much. They do request that you bring cash for tip and remind you of that when you make the appointment as well as in the follow-up email. read more

This is a decent spa with reasonable prices. They have specials where if you pay cash you get a discount. The problem is they never have any change and expect you to bring exact change. I find the front desk to be unhelpful and sometimes that one woman can be downright unhelpful and not a people person. I feel that businesses, if they want cash, should be able to offer change. They also had a couple of black friday specials where they had 20% off giftcard purchases. I've had their one hour foot massage which needed more pressure, and they'll do it for a little while, then revert back to the same. I also came here for a massage for my tight neck and shoulder, and it was all elbows. I've been here several times trying to find a good massage therapist to work out the knot and still haven't settled on anyone yet. 3 decent massage place. read more

First time here today (7/30/2025) I really enjoyed this place. The ambience was very soothing. The front desk receptionist was nice and greeted me upon entering and leaving. I have been searching for a good massage place in this area of the Peninsula. While there are many options, finding one that is clean, professional, and high-quality can be challenging. Today, January 3, 2025, my wife treated me to a visit to this place, which we've been to twice before. It's a decent spot, but today was exceptional. Both of us had great therapists. My wife mentioned that her therapist, Jenny, was excellent, and I found my therapist, Jerry, to be outstanding. Everyone's experience is different, but when I explained the type of treatment I was looking for, Jerry delivered exactly what I needed. This was one of the two best massages I've ever had ~ the other being at the Lotte Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam, back in 2018. Additionally, the young lady from Mills High School who works at Oceanic Massage is phenomenal. She is polite, well-mannered, and very informative, which added to the overall positive experience. read more

Very relaxing space and peaceful atmosphere. My massage was wonderful and everyone was very kind!

This foot spa is heaven. Hands down the best I've been to this year. It's classy and zen in presentation and it's quiet with no yelling or talking loudly while you zen out and try to get de stressed . ( honestly prefer quiet when I get my nails done too ..which I don't do often because I work with kids) So many foot spas are loud with talking, laughing and people on the phone. This spa keeps the noise down which is a very important part of relaxing. This loud noise rule includes not only employees and customers but also owners , custodial , front desk and managers. Clients appreciate quiet in a spa. In fact we will be back for sure ! I love this place. Public parking nearby and metered parking in front that needs quarters. ( bring $2 worth). Not a huge spa so book ahead. read more
