I have been here 3 times now and have had great experiences each time. In 2016 I was in a major motorcycle accident where I got ran over by a car. Luckily I came out of it with bruised bones / road rash and nothing broken and no internal trauma. Ever since the accident I have had issues with my right shoulder, especially as I work with my hands as a auto/motorcycle mechanic and maintenance mechanic for industrial coffee equipment like roasters & grinders as well as side work doing fabrication / repairs etc. I have really gnarly knots and issues in my right shoulder that require someone who basically is trying to kill me with their elbows, but knows what they are doing. Here is how the massages have gone with their respective names. Mia - Really great massage that is fairly strong. She was able to recognize fairly quickly that the center of my back just below my neck and along the left side of my shoulder blade has knots. She spent some time working on it and was very good. Spent equal time around the rest of my back as well. Eva - One of the partners of the shop who has 15+ years of experience. Sometimes when you get a massage it is obvious its a bit like rewatching a movie. Same movements, same pattern, over and over with no particular attention to detail. Eva is exactly OPPOSITE of this. Think of a specialty trained sniper honing in on a target from miles away. That is Eva. She immediately found the knots, bad shoulder etc. She asked me about it and I was able to convey all the issues. She also speaks the best English out of everyone else I have tried if you need to clearly convey an issue. She really knows what she is doing and was able to break up the problems really really well. Not quite as strong as the others, but that doesn't matter based on her technical skill. Really really excellent. Gina - I have been getting massages since about 2008ish. Hands down, without a doubt with only 1 exception via someone who left the industry Gina is the strongest person I have ever received a massage from. I have had a lot of walking on back massages that add pressure, but Gina was able to apply more force via her elbows bending over me from the side of the table than anyone who has walked on my back. She is not as technically skilled as Eva, but the strength is amazing. Now what is REALLY cool about this place is Eva's flexibility with my admittedly poor time management. I get 2 hour massages and recently specifically requested Gina due to her strength. She wouldn't be available until later, but I was in a time crunch. Eva who remembered me from a past visit offered to perform the first hour then let Gina take over the 2nd hour. So I got sniper Eva who worked out the fine details, then Gina at the end to use her Thor's hammer strength to finish the job. A last detail here. The showers are actually clean and nice. I like to get all the oil off of me at the end of a massage. I don't mind oil in a massage, but I hate feeling oily after. Some places I have been in have a shower that looks like its owned by a frat house. Mold, soap scum, a mildew smell, disgusting. When I had my first shower here a candle was lit, I was given a fresh towel, and everything was stocked and clean. Water is blisteringly hot too which is fantastic. No need for me to try new places. The only other place I would recommend at this point is Avee 9 in Redwood City due to the skill level of their walking on back massages using oil. That's a super hard technique to perform and they nail it. It is noisy there though and no shower. I moved from Redwood City to South San Francisco, thus why I gave comfort pro a shot. 10/10 would recommend. Haven't had a bad experience yet. read more

I came here sometime within the last year for a couples massages. That experience was good. The massage was good, very standard, and relaxing, nothing too crazy for that experience. I came here today and wow. Eva did my 90 minute deep tissue massage, cupping, and hot stone. She did so good! She's amazing at what she does, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. It was my first time cupping. She made sure I knew what to expect, and asked how I was doing throughout the process. The amount of pressure she applied was *chefs kiss*. So far off to a bad start. I called at 1:10pm asking if we can come in for 2 at 2:30pm and we were asked to come in at 2pm. We came in at 1:57pm and the lady at the front had said she can only do 45 min massage for $60 each. Okay, we agreed even though that isn't on the pricing options. I turned my Apple Watch timer on- mind you it was only 5 min and the lady started screaming for my masseuse. They were annoyed off the bat that I had a spa finder gift card. Horrible customer service & even worse massage! Lily was the masseuse... Long story short on the massage itself, she didn't know what she was doing AT ALL. Felt like my kids are massaging me. Then to make it a worse - she had long fingernails that kept scratching me every once in a while. She left the room 45 mins into my 90 min massage to get hot towels - one was so hot it almost burned my leg - and wiped the oils off. I had picked the full body ladies 1 hr massage for $45. You get your own private room. I asked for a female to give me my massage. The massage was weak (and I usually ask for people too easy up on my massage, so this was very weak) and extremely uneven she spent like 15 mins on one section of my back. Somethings this is done to get a kink out or something, but this was just her rubbing the palm of her hand gently on my back. I should've just gone to brookstone and sat in a free massage chair. I went to this place today, and the lady named Lisa (the manager) has given me the best massage I have ever had in my entire life! She is so passionate about her profession, very nice, respectful, and kind. She just knows how to massage and has all the skills and interpersonal approach that every massage therapists should have. Very bad customer service. I bought a Groupon and attempted to make an appointment by calling the business. The Asian guy (sounded like the owner or manager) refused to give me an appointment since I bought the Groupon and did not go through them directly. He was very rude and said I have to wait at least 48 hours to get an appointment (and it's not like this place is completely booked). I called a second time a few days later hoping to speak with someone else and he again picked up, this time being even more rude and basically hung up the phone on me. I usually go directly to the business so as to save them fees they have to pay to Groupon but I had to use Groupon this time to get my extra discount. He didn't even give me a chance to explain this. If you are a business owner in America, you need to follow the rules and have customer support skills and respect your customers and this guy does not seem to have it or care. And so I don't recommend this business to anyone. I'm working with Groupon to get my money refunded and I have also made a complaint to Groupon to be wary of supporting such businesses who are rude to customers. read more

I was a little skeptical of this place, a rather non-descript hole-in-the-wall in a somewhat dodgy area among auto body shops and darkened storefronts, but I gathered up my courage and went in. The elderly gentleman at the front desk seemed a bit put off when I arrived, seemingly unannounced. I had booked a 1-hour full body massage via their online appointment system, and he had some trouble finding my appointment. He made several sounds, gestures and facial expressions which I read as mild frustration, but I didn't take it personally and decided to turn on the charm and make light of the situation, which got him to smile and improved his mood and demeanor. Once he had my appointment confirmed and payment sorted, he showed me to the massage room, kindly pointing out the restroom along the way, which I made use of before my massage. The facilities, although bland and lacking in decor, are very clean and well organized. Jenny, the massage therapist who helped me was very sweet and soft-spoken, asked me to point out my problem areas (neck, shoulders, calves and feet) and went to work with great skill and just the right amount of pressure. She found knots that I didn't even know existed, and worked them all away. After a blissful hour she met me in the lobby with a cup of water, and I was so relaxed and happy in that moment that I gave her a hug (and a nice tip). Don't judge a book by it's cover. If you're looking for a no frills, fairly priced and skillful massage, ask for Jenny at Comfort Pro Massage. Be kind to the gentleman at the front desk, some others have posted that he was rude but I find that a smile and use of the words "please" and "thank you" will diffuse even the grumpiest of people. At the end he asked me if I was Filipino and he said "mahal kita" and "magunda ka", which means "I love you" and "you're pretty" I'm really only taking a star away because of the hiccup with the online appointment system. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and was in dire need of a foot massage. So I dragged my girlfriend to come along with me to this place that that was so close to where we were having lunch. I paid $30 for an hour foot massage. The girl massaging me was obviously not a professional masseuse but I knew that going into this place. I just needed someone to rub my sore, pregnant feet. I'm not going to lie, she did a fairly good job with my feet however 30 minutes into the massage she left me laying on my back without a word as to when she would return. I slowly opened my eyes and noticed that my girlfriend next to me was still getting a massage but my lady was no where around. 10 minutes later I finally interrupted the man giving my friend a massage and asked where my lady was. He of course could not understand English and just mumbled something I couldn't understand. 10 minutes later the man massaging my friend started massaging my back. I asked him again where my lady was and he just kept massaging me and 30 seconds later he did a hard pat on my shoulders and said "OK!" as if finished with my massage!!! I got up extremely upset and headed straight for the managers desk and started to explain myself. I cannot even begin to explain his reaction. He was extremely rude and admitted that the lady who was massaging me was double booked and was now working on another customer. The funny thing is, that during my massage I heard someone walk in and asked if they take "walk ins" and if they had time. During the arguing I simply asked for my money back. Initially the manager refused then proceeded to give me $10 back. I insisted that I get a FULL refund since I was left unattended without anyone notifying me as to what was going on. He then told me that "I talk to DAMN much". Baffled, I didn't know how to respond. If I could explain the way he spoke to me it would make any paying customer very unhappy. I then asked for the owners name stating that I would report this incident to the better business bureau and he said "NO, she doesn't speak English." I told him that he left me no choice than to call the police. I stepped outside and called Burlingame police during which the manager followed, sparked up a cigarette right in front of me, knowing that I was pregnant. After getting off with the police the manager had a sudden change of heart. He decided to finally, after much arguing and hostility from him, that he would refund me entirely. When the police arrived I explained to them that everything was now settled. I must say that the Burlington police responded rather quickly and was very pleased with that. SO DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. First, let me say that I get massages regularly, and was thrilled that I found such an affordable place! I have been there several times and have always been very happy. Today, however, I received a massage from a man called, "Lucky." I was totally creeped out & feel like I was physically violated. They have signs on the wall telling you to keep your underwear on & not solicit sex. Now I know why. He basically oiled me up, pulled my underwear down & rubbed my butt. I like a good gluteus massage, but this felt creepy. The parts where he massaged my back and neck were actually good, but my bottom was exposed the whole time and I felt very uncomfortable as he kept rubbing it. When he massaged my legs, he pulled my underwear to the side, grabbed around my front over and over, and kept brushing against my crotch. It felt very violating. Seriously ... not ok. The worst part is that I was paralyzed. I should have told him to stop & that I was very uncomfortable. But, I froze. I was afraid, and did nothing. I'm not even sure if the masseuse has ever been to massage school or if she isn't working off her debt. There's a tiny window in the door of the treatment room that I didn't see until I was leaving.
