I then sat for another 5 mins in the lobby waiting for the masseuse to come out. The front desk person rushed in trying to find my masseuse, who then came out and looked at me confused. Then.... HE REACHED INTO MY PURSE?? and tried to grab an envelope I had just gotten from a bank. I was alarmed and shocked and said "this is mine." The front desk girl saw all of this happening just in time as she came out and said "Dennis!" I was, at this point, confused and uncomfortable but didn't want to forego the deposit I had paid for my massage already. So, I went along with it and followed Dennis (masseuse) in. All in all, I got a 45-min massage and had a man I had never met try to reach into my purse. The massage was OK.
