From the beginning, the receptionist was very persistent about convincing me to purchase the most expensive package. I was also asked to pay a 30% tip in advance, before even receiving the massage. I agreed because I expected to receive professional and attentive service. Unfortunately, during the massage, the experience was extremely disappointing. The person who gave me the massage was constantly using her phone and responding to messages throughout the session. Her phone was on vibrate and was going off every few seconds. There were times when she massaged only one side of my body for quite a while because she was distracted by her phone. I find it very unprofessional for someone to be texting during a massage that a customer is paying for. Especially after being strongly encouraged to leave a 30% tip in advance, I expected much better service and the therapist's full attention. The facility may be clean, but cleanliness does not make up for poor customer service and an unprofessional experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience today, I would not return or recommend this place.

I proceeded to let her know how that just comes off ungrateful. I asked how much she's generally tipped which she says 26-30... which is under what I was tipping. I wanted to leave an amazing review but that interaction just left me super uncomfortable... I would come back again if I didn't feel harassed for an exquisite amount of tip...

I have been to many many different massage places, both corporate, private, and Chinese reflexology style and hands down, by a MILE CoCo is the absolute best I have ever had. Bear in mind that I want a VERY hard massage that feels like the therapist is almost trying to kill you lol. CoCo has incredible strength, but where she stands out is knowing WHERE to focus that strength. She runs her thumb across your body and searches for knots and tension. I will also use Google translate to inform her of problem areas if needed. ( Chinese Simplified seems to work ). I recently moved from Redwood City to Gilroy and will likely try other local spots, but I am very doubtful I will find someone who is as detailed, thorough, and professional as CoCo. Also, as others have said, the business has changed hands fairly recently, and the owner and her sister are working hard to make the place inviting and professional. The only improvement I would suggest is adding a sound dampening curtain or other material to block out the noise of the kitchen / break room area in the back. It can be a little distracting. Beyond that, I have no complaints. Also, TIP WELL. I always ask for a 2 hour body massage, and I have NO IDEA how professional therapists can sustain constant pressure for so long, and that's coming from someone who used to be a professional mechanic! I tip $40 for 2 hours. Seriously bummed I am moving, but I am sure I will make the over hour drive if I can not find a local place with the same dedication to the craft that CoCo obviously has.
