As a client, I always voice when something is too deep to the point of pain but therapists do not know our threshold - it's important to be communicative during treatment. Some areas I couldn't tolerate so Annie moved on but in the areas that deep pressure was required - she spent more time on. Also - don't let the exterior fool you! Because if you've lived with chronic lower back pain for 10 years, sometimes you find yourself doing googles like that at 2 in the morning knowing you'll likely never find the answer but you might as well go through the motions, because my god life is just one long day of pain after the other. Enter Stephania. First of all, she was the first practitioner after 10 years worth of googles and every kind of treatment available, to figure out it was actually hip pain. And then BAM, that opened up my entire world. She has connected my to a pelvic PT, and a massage therapist (whose reviews are forthcoming), and I feel better than I have in years. It took a long time for me to get to this state, and I know it'll take me a long time to get out of it. But I am just so grateful that I at least have more answers than I ever did before. However, the atmosphere in the room is typical with soft spa music, dim candle light, comfortable tables and a cozy room that may put you to sleep like me. Upon arrival, Sunny checked me in with smiles and was also my masseuse for my Swedish massage. She hit all the right points and made sure I was comfortable by asking if the pressure was too much or the bed temperature was good for me. I really enjoyed the minimal use of the light unscented massage oil she used. Before I flipped over, hot towels, more massaging and hot rocks were placed on my back. This was different for me, but I thought it was perfect. It warmed up all the areas she massaged and and removed most of the massage oil leaving my back soft and moisturized without an oily feeling. There was also some stretching done with my arms, legs and neck area. One finished, I felt relaxed, loose and ready for another gym session of lifting! The prices are extremely reasonable as the focus here is on the massage not all the fancy, aromatic things and decor. Booking online is very easy also. This is a great massage joint and definitely the best bang for your buck around here!

She has an exceptional understanding of the body and energy flow, creating a session that is not only rejuvenating but also deeply healing. If you're looking for more than just a massage--a truly transformative experience--I wholeheartedly recommend Laura.

Laura Williams is competent, dedicated, knowledgeable, attentive and kind…read more I came to Laura in January, 2024, principally to work on lingering pain in both my right and left lumbar area; the right one being an old problem and the left one quite sharp and very new. The left one was the remnant of a slipped disk that created an uncomfortable amount of burning pain for several long months in the left leg and leaving the muscles atrophied and weak. Since the right lumbar almost always hurt in one way or another and my neck was always and repeatedly stiff, I finally decided to go looking again for a therapist. I contacted a number of therapists, but Laura's response was so simple, direct and pleasant, I decided to try her services. Good Choice In the first session the sharp residual pain in the left lumbar was gone within days and by the third session I realized I had made the right choice. Laura has an uncanny energy and a clear ability to connect to the human organism, allowing her to perceive and understand its needs, quibbles, defects and problems; no doubt supported by her manifestly impressive knowledge of the musculoskeletal anatomy. She has a light touch, but also a powerful force where needed--and I have certainly often needed her energy and her force. Because I complained about a unhealthy level of prolonged stress developed over the last five dreadful years, she also began a sensitive and effective method to moderate this stress; quieting my organism and better preparing me to deal with, construct and tear down, what has yet been left undone.
