This place used to be the go to for me in the area. Really close to home and super convenient. Their quality has worsened over the past few years and their prices have increased. Their slice is all soggy with oil, not enough cheese and toppings, I ordered a regular pizza and I felt like they only put half of the normal cheese portion. The second time, I ordered a pepperoni and onion, I could count each pepperoni and onion that were placed sparingly across the pizza, again, half of the normal potion of toppings. In essence, prices have gone up, I get a lesser amount of cheese and/or toppings, the oil/sogginess is out of control and to make matters worse, I had a terrible acid reflux a few hours after having their pizza! The service is not memorable, kind of get in and get out kinda spot, same as most pizza joints. Same goes for their atmosphere when you pick up a pie, you're a customer and that's it. Nothing more. Overall, you have lost a customer, I've read that there may have been an ownership change which could explain the vast difference [negatively connotation on vast difference] in quality. To the new owners (if that's the case) you're doing a TERRIBLE job and until I read positive reviews and hear of a change toward the old Pelegrinos pizza, I won't be returning here. Pretty good pizza, especially for this area. The Brooklyn slice had a nice light, buttery crust. The regular " cheese" slice was good. It was a little doughy, maybe if they could get the underside of the pizza a little more crispy or well done without burning the top it would bump them up to 4 stars. Came here with my cousin, we're working in the area & not many options. I found the small pizzeria clean. The Staff & I think the owner friendly. Now my take on the pizza. The flavor of the items on my pizza was good but I didn't care for the sauce. It was very sweet. I want my tomato pizza sauce to taste like tomatoes. I know some tomatoes can be sweet naturally I.e. San Marzano, but this was sugary sweet. I got a Margherita slice & a House Special with chicken cutlets on it. I tasted the House Special first. Good seasoning on the cutlets but that Dag gone sauce was ruining the flavor profile. So I thought it was the House Special. Then I tasted the Margherita Razzle Frazzle! Same sauce for both! Not cool. For me that is. Taste is subjective to personal preference. Would I go back if I was in the area? Yes. Would I seek it out? Nah, not likely. read more

For years this place used to be a frequent stop of mine while out on the road. I liked their pizza because it was always perfect to eat while driving. No sogginess or excess oil, just decent pizza at a decent price. However, recently it has dive-bombed to inedible. The last few times have been just bad. The oil would just pour off the slice making it almost impossible to eat without falling apart. Maybe a change in ownership?? And to make matters worse they now charge $8.15 for two slices. I love my local pizzeria. They have great specials every day of the week. Best value for pizza and Italian food around. Owner and staff are always super nice. Small dining area, we use primarily for take out. We are spoiled with so many pizza/Italian choices around. I choose to order from the closest pizzeria to my home because it's always good, and we love to support our local businesses. They are always so generous to our schools, and hire local kids to work there. That's important to me that they are invested in the community they serve. Is it the best pizza around? No. It's good. I have my preferred place for pizza but it's farther away and much more expensive. The coupons in the local papers for Pellegrinos can't be beat! Amazingly delicious pizza!! We order it all the time now. They have so many great deals for pretty much every day of the week. The staff is very friendly, both on the phone and in person. Today we did the Weds special buy 1 get another 1/2 price! (Accepted for delivery as well). We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza. They both looked and smelled amazing. The taste was incredible! This place is so good I love ordering from them!! The delivery came early than the time I was quoted. They are very accommodating with methods of payment accepted. My only advice is that the pizza should be cooked a little longer the crust was slightly doughy. I might just order well done next time too. Other than that, thumbs up all around ! read more

Ordered takeout tonite for the first time. A pepperoni pizza, a cheese pizza, 6 knots and a side of meatballs. Both pizzas were greasy and mushy. This location is very close to where I stay and always has delicious, 5 star New York pizza that I crave every other day of the year. I've always carried out or delivered so I can't say much as to the service, but the delivery is always quick and hot!
