Rocky Point Pizza is one of our go-to spots, and for good reason -- the food is always really good and they've been great to deal with. They also worked with us when we ordered pizzas for a birthday party, which made the whole experience even better. This time we ordered an eggplant hero (with Alfredo sauce instead of red sauce), an eggplant rollatini roll, and a meatball hero. The eggplant hero with Alfredo was amazing. The eggplant rollatini is always fantastic -- easily our favorite eggplant out of the local places. And the meatball hero was great too. No misses. We also really like their pizza and end up ordering from here about every other week, which is probably the strongest endorsement I can give. Inside has that classic pizza joint vibe -- perfect when you just want to grab a quick slice while you're out and about. One small suggestion that would make them even better: it would be awesome if individual slices were available for online ordering. You can order slices when you walk in or call, but having that option online would be super convenient for nights when we just want a slice or two for the kids and heroes or meals for us. Atmosphere was your average pizza dive with the door open. Service was a younger dude who seemed not to give a darn about being there. Specialty veggie slice was just ok, but for 6 bucks a slice, what a rip off. To make matters worse, my stomach was off all night and part of the next day after eating. I question how far in advance the specialty slices are prepared/cooked, and there doesn't appear that any TLC goes into making of anything here. Pasta night takeout is the best value with very generous amount of food, more so than any other pizza/Italian place around! And by the way, EVERY night is pasta night! Specials are not confined to certain days. We have lived in area over 20 years. There's no limit to pizza/Italian around here. It's why we had never come here before. Slightly out of our neighborhood area. We see the specials in the paper every week, and finally tried today. Well this will be our go to place for pasta dinners from now on! Not only do you get a nice portion of pasta, but also a side salad with all the good stuff on it (cucumber, roasted pepper, onion, cucumber & olives) PLUS 2 garlic bread sticks, PLUS a cannoli! All for $14!!? Food is good! Linguini with clam sauce nice portion of clams with shells, fettuccini Alfredo was thick & flavorful sauce. We also got a couple entrees..stuffed eggplant and Chicken Capri. Both very good. Don't know why we waited 20 years to go out of town to try this pizza place. They usually have amazing food but tonighttip. I was given old nasty regular slices that were probably sitting out all day with vodka sauce thrown on top. Grub hub was amazing and gave me my money back but, I am still annoyed. Their food is usually good but the staff are nasty as hell. Me and my boyfriend order from here regularly. Anytime who I am assuming the owner or manager is answers my phone call, he is nasty and always tells me no. We always order slices, pinwheels and sometimes other items from the menu. Remind you we order more then just two slices. I was told today that we can not order slices on the phone and must come in to order it. Usually I would not mind but the tone this man had was disgustingly rude. I am not one to write reviews unless its really bad to warn others. I used to get chicken soup here regularly especially when sick. I moved away and its been a few years but i am sick today and had my mom pick some up for me. They have to be selling progresso chicken noodle soup from a can as their soup. The ingredients, chicken, pasta, carrots, celery, broth.. all the same exact as progresso canned soup. The smell alone i can tell. I am not paying a pizza place for a gross processed canned soup. Im in disbelief. They used to have nice home made soup with good pasta and fresh broth. Disgusted never again. read more

It was slow and still had to wait a while to give my order because one person working was chatting on the phone and two other two were discussing NFL. Hero smelled bad, huge chunks of garlic thrown on but the broccoli rabe was not actually cooked with the garlic in it so it went between being tasteless & not tasting good at all. Their food is good although I honestly think I've had better. I like that Rocky Point Pizza is close to my house and that they deliver when I don't feel like going out it's convenient. EVERYTIME I get dinner from this place something is wrong. A chicken parm hero just bread and chicken, a chicken parm hero with unmelted cheese. Soggy Pizza. So we tried the salads two of them were nicely put together(except the hot chicken made the cheese watery) and one was a complete mess, I'm pretty sure it was returned and given to me instead. We have been using them for our catering needs and take out for 8 years and have had nothing but praise for the food and service. Over the past 6 months their service and quality have been getting worse. This week we ordered two 3ft party heroes for my daughters birthday. when we received them yesterday, instead of getting the three foot hero bread that normally comes with a party hero we received 4 regular heroes in the party hero boxes. I would have refused them but then I wouldn't have had any food for my guests. When I called the next day all they could say was sorry. This will be the last time that i will ever use them and advise everyone not to use them for catering. I should have gone to BJ's instead. read more

Okay, so this may come as a surprise, but this Wading River Pizza restaurant is actually in Rocky Point. It's in the strip mall with the Planet Fitness and the Waldbaums. I decided to wander into WRP because I was getting a little low bloodsugary and I was planning on going into Planet Fitness for a run on the mill. I wasn't expecting much because of the location, but I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and even more pleasantly surprised by the huge selection of fresh specialty pies behind the glass display. Wow. They even had a fresh Crispino pizza, my favorite, ready to go. They had a lot of staff there for some reason, but they were exceptionally nice and helpful young guys. I got a plain slice which was gigantic! The crust is nice and thin, just how I like it. Will definitely be back, probably for take out and possibly for post workout carb loading (haha). read more

Unfortunately, for an establishment such as this place with really good food, they certainly know how to really mess it all up! Why is it, that every time I go, either the order has something missing and only learn about until I get home or you order something (and forget that it everything is made from scratch) which means extra 40 to 50 minutes of getting pissed off at counter staff, who never says anything regarding how long the actual time is. All I ever hear is 10 to 15 minutes and you'll be good..... WHAT A JOKE! I know that I will never order anything from the kitchen, unless I call it in a minimum of 1.5 hours ahead of when I'll arrive. Can't see how this place gets more than two stars. I went in ordering two specialty slices and 6 garlic knots for the bill to come out to $14. I don't mind it if it lived up to its high price but it did not. The buffalo chicken slice had very few pieces of chicken and lacked flavor. In addition the garlic knots were extremely small and as hard as a rock. Second, their pizza (ordered by the slice) is reheated in a mini toaster oven.... NOT IN THE BRICK OVEN THEY HAVE RIGHT NEXT TO IT. The employees are not any better than the food. There was no enthusiastic interaction with the customer as they seemed to hate their job. They probably hate the customers too considering they handled the pizza behind the counter with their dirty hands when they served it instead of using a spatula. read more

Come here often after my workout at the Planet Fitness located in the same shopping center for a slice of salad pizza. It's not the best slice of salad pizza I've ever had as the dough is a bit too doughy but most of the other pizzerias in Rocky Point usually don't have salad slices on hand. However, I'm always guaranteed a slice here. They have a large array of specialty slices on hand though I've only had a fresh mozzarella slice with tomato and balsamic vinegar drizzled over it. It was quite tasty and was different from the usual fresh mozzarella slice. The place in itself is on the smaller side and has only about 5-6 tables as most of their business comes from take-out. As they're a off shoot of the original Wading River Pizzeria (which I've never been to) they only recently finished renovations inside and for the little amount of space they have, they did make it appear welcoming. I should also note their slices are bigger than the average slice so for the average person, 1 slice may be more than sufficient. I made the mistake of ordering 2 slices at one point and had to throw half of the other slice away because it was too much. read more
