Top- BBQ Chicken bottom- vodka eggplant

I was working in the area today and decided to stop on for a bite to eat. I've been to the Coram location, but it's been a while! Upon walking in I saw so many different types of pizza to chose from. I had to scale the display case a few times to decide what I wanted. So many choices!! I settled with a vodka eggplant slice and a bbq chicken slice. The vodka eggplant slice was so delicious and definitely nothing I've ever had before. It was very unique and I really enjoyed it! The BBQ chicken slice was good as well! I had asked for both slices to be well-done and it was cooked to perfection! Service was great and served with a smile! I would definitely return for that vodka eggplant slice.

La Bistro hosted my son's baptism this weekend and in the past we held my daughter's communion there. They do such an amazing job and the food is phenomenal. My family was so excited to hear we were going back for the baby's baptism after the last event because they were looking forward to the food. We had a beautiful cozy back room and a true Italian Sunday, eating, drinking, and talking. It was completely relaxed, wonderful communication from the staff, beautifully presented, and at ease. The staff there are always so kind and I have truly grown to love going in and seeing their familiar faces. You can tell they care about the community and all the people and families. I really cannot recommend them enough

Great quick food. Lots of garlic in my chicken & broccoli Rabe square and also tried the cheese stuffed garlic knots. It was amazing!

    Grilled shrimp, chipotle wrap

I am so upset I ordered the grilled chipotle shrimp wrap and this is like the fourth time this happened to me. I told them no onions I cannot have onions and what did I have tons of onions

La Bistro had soooo many different slices. I wanted to try them all!! You name it. They have it on a slice. Great service also. We sat in the dining room which was very nice. Wish I had time to try more!!

it's time to sing LaBistro praises again. I reviewed first 5 years ago. It's even better now. Their pizza is AMAZING! Perfectly cooked every time. Their crispy crust is the best around with the panko bread crumbs on the bottom. The SWR area is not lacking in pizza/Italian choices. And they all are good. But La Bistro is a cut above. Their specialty pies are generously topped, priced well and bursting with flavor. We had the Rustica last night for the first time, and it won't be the last! Sicilian style topped with fresh mozzarella, fresh pesto, roasted peppers & tomatoes with balsamic reduction on top. My heavens, it was to die for! The crust was perfectly crisped, and one slice was so filling and satisfying. We also ordered a cheese pie, which consistently never disappoints! Another specialty pie you won't see in the menu, but you have to try if you like calamari is the Buffalo calamari pie. WOW! In addition, I have catered from here several times since my last review. The food is fantastic! We always get the penne ala vodka because everyone loves it. Chicken franchese always tender and delicious. Have ordered other trays and always very happy. If you order over a certain amount you get free tray of garlic knots. Those are fantastic too. Never greasy, always soft, crispy and melt in your mouth. We have dined in a few times as well. Small dining area in the back has table service. It's a little slow, but that's because the food here is so great, it's worth the wait every time. Carry out, dine in or catering from La Bistro, you will be happy. This place is great!

All of this, yet the food was still quite good despite all the misfortunes and mis-steps. I don't even know how to rate them ... 3.5 seems right, so do I go 4 stars for the solid flavors, or do l go with 3 because the pizza needed a third ingredient for complexity and a lot less grease, the white bean soup was made with red kidney beans, and the meatballs were in an ounce of this sauce... But that short rib pie could be something really special, I added a balsamic drizzle, even great with some horseradish. We definitely want to explore the menu more, am I right? He says hello, welcomes you, and makes sure you know something about his offerings. Sure, its a small place and sometimes they are very busy and do not have all the time in the world to chat, but ask any question and Dean is happy to help! Maria is soft-spoken and kind, and the food is always top notch. Service can be slow at the counter, they have been understaffed a few times while I was there, just Dean and Maria. And honestly, it was such a good call. Right when you walk in, you can tell they've got a great selection of pizzas on offer. From classic cheese to specialty slices and everything in between. They also do other Italian favorites like stromboli, calzones, rice balls, salads, and more, and they mentioned their dough and sauce are made fresh daily, which definitely shows in the flavor. I went with a classic cheese slice. It had crispy crust, plenty of melty cheese, and that perfect bite after bite satisfaction you're always craving when you're on Long Island. My sister ordered a vodka sauce slice that was super tasty, rich, and creamy without being too heavy. My niece and nephew stuck with pepperoni, and they were absolutely loving it (which is ALWAYS a good sign). The kids were practically fighting over the last bite! When we got there, we found parking in front. It was around 3p on a Sunday. The place is spacious. They have large seating in front, a dining room and bar in the back, as well as a patio. I wanted to sit in the patio area but they have plants and herbs growing out there, and the bees have been festive this season. We ordered our pizza up front. The young lady that was helping us was very patient and nice. We ordered quite a few slices since they have a large selection. They heated everything up and put it all on trays for us. The condiments are neatly arranged near the pickup area. We sat and ate. The pizza was very good. I had a sauseej and roni sicilian, hubby had two slices of their chicken ranch, and our kiddo had their BBQ chicken slice, and a slice of a thicc sicilian circle pie - that thing was huge but really good! We ordered some drinks from the bar but we're a little disappointed that the juice they used is from a can. It has a fake taste and we didn't like that but everything else was on point. I'm sure you can't go wrong with a glass of wine. They have pizza kits and all kinds of other specialty pizzas. I was tempted to get a slice of their pepperoni slice with the garlic know crust. That would have been overkill for me. I made sure to grab menus so we can leave them over at the MIL's house for future ordering.

When I requested a plain marinara Bolognese, the accommodation was made without a problem, which speaks volumes about the kitchen's flexibility and the staff's dedication. Did I say that the service is excellent? The restaurant itself is large and clearly a popular venue--a wedding was hosted during our dinner, and the music was on the loud side. For those looking for value, the portion to price ratio here is great, a quality that extends to their lunch menu as well. Pro-Tip: If you're in the mood for pasta, consider going on a "Pasta Night" (Monday or Tuesday) for a good deal. Parking is available, though there is a short walk from the lot to the entrance. It is more of a pizza place than an Italian restaurant. Although they have a wide selection of different types of pizza slices, they are are very generic. Out of all of them I believe the OG Grandma pizza is their best. They try to overdo it with all these crazy flavors but if they stuck to the basics (6-10) different pies they can really take the pizza to the next level. Same goes for the dining food, I take quality over quantity any day. Again, its not BAD, but it wouldn't be a place I take my friends/family from out of state for authentic pizza/Italian. Something worth noting. I had a bad experience the last time I went there which unfortunately made me decide not to come back. If you haven't herd of 'too good to go', google it, it will help with story. I called Alfredos a half hour before closing to order 1 plain pie. I got a bad vibe on the phone like I was inconveniencing them. I arrive 15 minutes later I didn't want to keep them waiting and my pie is just getting 'sent' (Placed in oven) so I know its got a solid 10-13 mins (average) So I wait and while I'm waiting I ask the clerk "Do you do too good to go?" because I noticed a significant about of leftover pizza in display case. He replies "No" I then asked "What do you do with all of this pizza at the end of the night?" He replied "We throw it out" I know for a fact based on experience that MOST pizza places either give it to staff to take it home, or will sell it all for a cheap price opposed to just wasting it in the trash. So I ask and the guy gave me a really hard time. I said "If you're not taking it home, can I pay you (offer cash or charge whatever's easier) I don't want it free" He then rushed my pie out of the oven and said "Have a good night!" It really rubbed me the wrong way, what a complete waste. Take the cash and pocket it, share it as a 'tip' I don't care. Why would you not want to make MORE money and make a customer happy? Between that the the unprofessional delivery drivers in street clothes eating behind the counter and touching everything with their bare hand I said I'm done wit this place.
