We have ordered from Wading River Pizza for years and it was great. After some time away from take out, we ordered pizza tonight. It was the worst Pizza we ever got. Idk what's going on there but I hope they rectify it!

Love this place. I often stop in here to grab a quick lunch or dinner to go and it's a very fast checkout. The pizza is seriously amazing here. The specialty slices are what I always order and it seems like they try out new things all the time. The chicken rolls and calzones are amazing here.

Great flavor, fresh, and delicious crust. I was visiting family and passing through the area when I found this place. The folks were nice and I saw them greet customer after customer with kindness and like Family.

So i decided to give this place a secind try and again they show how much the don't care about their product. I ordered a pizza with half ham and i cannot believe how skimpy with the toppings they are. I am not goong to order from here again save your money and go across the street to the pizza place in the king kullen shopping center, they at least care to give their customers what they pay for.

All of this, yet the food was still quite good despite all the misfortunes and mis-steps. I don't even know how to rate them ... 3.5 seems right, so do I go 4 stars for the solid flavors, or do l go with 3 because the pizza needed a third ingredient for complexity and a lot less grease, the white bean soup was made with red kidney beans, and the meatballs were in an ounce of this sauce... But that short rib pie could be something really special, I added a balsamic drizzle, even great with some horseradish. We definitely want to explore the menu more, am I right? I had a couple of slices that were nice and thin, crispy and very flavorful. Dean, who is making the pies and doing the cooking, busy as he is, is one of the friendliest guys you will meet in a Pizza place! He says hello, welcomes you, and makes sure you know something about his offerings. Sure, its a small place and sometimes they are very busy and do not have all the time in the world to chat, but ask any question and Dean is happy to help! Maria is soft-spoken and kind, and the food is always top notch. Service can be slow at the counter, they have been understaffed a few times while I was there, just Dean and Maria. But the food is worth the wait. On another night, eight of us ate in the dining room, which is very attractive, and the food was excellent! And honestly, it was such a good call. Right when you walk in, you can tell they've got a great selection of pizzas on offer. From classic cheese to specialty slices and everything in between. They also do other Italian favorites like stromboli, calzones, rice balls, salads, and more, and they mentioned their dough and sauce are made fresh daily, which definitely shows in the flavor. I went with a classic cheese slice. It had crispy crust, plenty of melty cheese, and that perfect bite after bite satisfaction you're always craving when you're on Long Island. My sister ordered a vodka sauce slice that was super tasty, rich, and creamy without being too heavy. My niece and nephew stuck with pepperoni, and they were absolutely loving it (which is ALWAYS a good sign). The kids were practically fighting over the last bite! The vibe for lunch was relaxed and casual. People grabbing slices, a family enjoying lunch, and a friendly, local feel that made it a really easy choice for a pit stop. They've also got beer and wine if you want something to sip with your slice. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Brezza is definitely worth swinging by for a slice or two!

When we got there, we found parking in front. It was around 3p on a Sunday. The place is spacious. They have large seating in front, a dining room and bar in the back, as well as a patio. I wanted to sit in the patio area but they have plants and herbs growing out there, and the bees have been festive this season. We ordered our pizza up front. The young lady that was helping us was very patient and nice. We ordered quite a few slices since they have a large selection. They heated everything up and put it all on trays for us. The condiments are neatly arranged near the pickup area. We sat and ate. The pizza was very good. I had a sauseej and roni sicilian, hubby had two slices of their chicken ranch, and our kiddo had their BBQ chicken slice, and a slice of a thicc sicilian circle pie - that thing was huge but really good! We ordered some drinks from the bar but we're a little disappointed that the juice they used is from a can. It has a fake taste and we didn't like that but everything else was on point. I'm sure you can't go wrong with a glass of wine. They have pizza kits and all kinds of other specialty pizzas. I was tempted to get a slice of their pepperoni slice with the garlic know crust. That would have been overkill for me. I made sure to grab menus so we can leave them over at the MIL's house for future ordering.

Ruggero's: A Taste of Heavenly Cavatelli…read more My wife and I recently returned to Ruggero's specifically so I could enjoy their homemade cavatelli in a Bolognese sauce. We started with the fried calamari, which were delicious. The service was a highlight of our visit. Our waitress was not only lovely and helpful but also ensured our drinks arrived promptly and with a smile. When I requested a plain marinara Bolognese, the accommodation was made without a problem, which speaks volumes about the kitchen's flexibility and the staff's dedication. Did I say that the service is excellent? The restaurant itself is large and clearly a popular venue--a wedding was hosted during our dinner, and the music was on the loud side. For those looking for value, the portion to price ratio here is great, a quality that extends to their lunch menu as well. Pro-Tip: If you're in the mood for pasta, consider going on a "Pasta Night" (Monday or Tuesday) for a good deal. Parking is available, though there is a short walk from the lot to the entrance. Ruggero's provides excellent service, great value, and fantastic pasta. I highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying I live in Ridge. This place is great if you are in a bind, but by no means…read moredo I go out of my way to get food here. It is more of a pizza place than an Italian restaurant. Although they have a wide selection of different types of pizza slices, they are are very generic. Out of all of them I believe the OG Grandma pizza is their best. They try to overdo it with all these crazy flavors but if they stuck to the basics (6-10) different pies they can really take the pizza to the next level. Same goes for the dining food, I take quality over quantity any day. Again, its not BAD, but it wouldn't be a place I take my friends/family from out of state for authentic pizza/Italian. Something worth noting. I had a bad experience the last time I went there which unfortunately made me decide not to come back. If you haven't herd of 'too good to go', google it, it will help with story. I called Alfredos a half hour before closing to order 1 plain pie. I got a bad vibe on the phone like I was inconveniencing them. I arrive 15 minutes later I didn't want to keep them waiting and my pie is just getting 'sent' (Placed in oven) so I know its got a solid 10-13 mins (average) So I wait and while I'm waiting I ask the clerk "Do you do too good to go?" because I noticed a significant about of leftover pizza in display case. He replies "No" I then asked "What do you do with all of this pizza at the end of the night?" He replied "We throw it out" I know for a fact based on experience that MOST pizza places either give it to staff to take it home, or will sell it all for a cheap price opposed to just wasting it in the trash. So I ask and the guy gave me a really hard time. I said "If you're not taking it home, can I pay you (offer cash or charge whatever's easier) I don't want it free" He then rushed my pie out of the oven and said "Have a good night!" It really rubbed me the wrong way, what a complete waste. Take the cash and pocket it, share it as a 'tip' I don't care. Why would you not want to make MORE money and make a customer happy? Between that the the unprofessional delivery drivers in street clothes eating behind the counter and touching everything with their bare hand I said I'm done wit this place.
