Small town east end Pizza shop that makes standard and creative Pizza. When I stopped in I saw trays of just made meatballs cooling in the back and gave a hero a try. While waiting the owner cut a slice of their garlic knot slice pizza in two and gave them to me to try and bring one out for my friend waiting in the car. Lots of delicious flavor on what was a nice crispy chewy crust. They are really good at old fashioned Italian style Pizza & Heros. Generous with ingredients & hospitality. That's Italian! Stop in and try this nice local place.

The food was quite delectable and exquisitely tasteful. My tastebuds were like they were dancing with the love of their life.

Good average pizza. Clean, friendly atmosphere & very fair prices. The sauce had a nice taste but could of used a bit more on the pizza. The crust & underside of the pizza was a slightly thicker & more bread-like than I prefer. I know 3 stars can be perceived to be good or bad but I'd lean to the good side for this one.

This is only the second time trying this new pizza joint. First time, after it had just open, left me not needing to get back there anytime soon. I decided to give them another try after a friend had said their pies have improved and I'm happy for the tip! I got a large cheese pie and asked the crust to be cooked well done. Nice big bubbles, crust was thin and crispy, pleasant tasting sauce and cheese. Oh yeah, and a couple dollars cheaper than the other options around town. I will branch out to try their other styles and toppings slowly.

Had a cheese pie and it was fine. Not life changing nor terrible. Fine for a quick slice when you don't feel like driving further.

Joe, the owner, couldn't be nicer and helps create a warm and welcoming vibe to one of my favorite pizzerias on Long Island!

View of water was nice, and even better nice sunset. Service was excellent, we had a very attentive waitress. Did not have to wait too long for our food. We ended up doing all specials. We shared the seafood stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. For dinner my husband had the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. I had the halibut with shrimp. Both delicious. Somehow we had room for dessert. We ordered the RAINBOW COOKIE ICE CREAM SUNDAE for two. When that arrived, our jaws dropped. Thing was huge. More than enough for two people. And so dangerously good. This place was a drive for us but I would come back again for a special occasion.

My children took us here for our anniversary and refused to tell us before hand the name of the restaurant. So getting to it is a long drive down a road with gated homes until you reach the end and a waterfront restaurant. My daughter made the reservation and for us to sit on the patio. At first I was concerned because it has been very hot lately and the sun was strong. Well have no fear. Tables have large umbrellas and early evening gave us a gentle breeze. Okay the food: we all had something different and everyone mentioned how good it was. Another step back... They have valet parking which set the perfect mood for me. So my wife had chicken parm. Please forgive her. Not that it wasn't good, but a waterfront restaurant specializing in seafood. Come on my love. I had flounder encrusted with lobster. Beyond heavenly. Oh yes we shared baked clams. OMG. We usually judge a new restaurant by their baked clams and these were on point. The bill: I have no idea. My kids paid . It brought me to tears. When we have dinner out with the kids I always pay so this made me delirious. Finally the views. Spectacular just spectacular. Yes I recommend ITA and I will definitely by back. Unfortunately I'll be paying but it will be worth it.

Fried Calamari with zucchini is melt-in-your-mouth tender, brick oven pizza's are BETTER than Rome. Fillet Mignon Au Poivre is the best I've ever had, as is the Branzino! But my favorite is the Chicken Dijonaise. It's been on the menu for over 25 years for a reason! Cocktails are expertly prepared, and the service is professional. If you have to wait a bit for your food to come out, that's a good thing! Sit, chill, put your phone down and enjoy your family. Have a conversation, and let them cook. Bravo, (as usual) La Volpe!

One of the worst dining experiences we've had in a very long time…read more My family has been coming to this restaurant for 20 years since they opened and before this, to Anton's when they were just a small pizzeria in the King Kullen shopping center. We've celebrated holidays here, hosted parties here, and have always spoken highly of it--which made this experience even more disappointing. We took my mother out for Mother's Day shortly after my father passed away, hoping for a nice family meal. Instead, we were treated terribly from start to finish. We were seated late at a cramped table for three, despite having a reservation. Our server, J***, didn't check on us the entire evening. She didn't tell us the specials until we specifically asked, and then responded sarcastically with, "Oh, you want to hear the specials?" It took an hour just to receive appetizers, and no server initially came over to take our order until we spoke to the mother of the owners, who we didn't see at all. My husband and I would always talk to one of the brothers. We waited excessively for simple things like sweetener and iced tea. At one point, a young staff member told us there was no sweetener available at all. It honestly felt like our server may have been pulled from another role just to "help out," because the service was so disorganized. What made it worse was the complete lack of professionalism from the front staff. The two people seating guests looked miserable and unfriendly. It was apparent they were probably family, because they had no qualms about doing their jobs badly. When we raised concerns, one of the two unhappy women--who was extremely cold and dismissive--actually told us that she waits three hours when she goes out to eat, as though that somehow excused our experience. We also noticed staff talking about us, which was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable. What was most frustrating was seeing groups of employees standing around while service was clearly falling apart. Being busy is understandable--(it was used as an excuse for everything going wrong), especially on Mother's Day--but after 20 years in business, a restaurant should know how to handle a busy night without everything unraveling. The food was disappointing as well--my veal was tough--and at no point did anyone apologize, offer any gesture of goodwill (not even a complimentary coffee), or acknowledge how poorly our evening had gone. Not even a simple "Happy Mother's Day" or goodbye as we left and we walked right by the cold, dismissive woman. The actual only highlight of our evening was when a wonderful server named Iverson came over to finish up with us, because clearly having to ask our server for sweetener three times forced her to have a possible meltdown? Unfortunately it was way too late, the damage had already been done. Now that's a charming individual, who is great with people! It certainly would have helped make a difference in our experience. This was especially heartbreaking because this restaurant has meant something to our family for years. Sadly, after this experience, we won't be returning. There are too many other restaurants that know how to treat loyal customers with respect.
