If a member of your management team does not wish to be looked at or be within a customer's field of vision while they are serving patrons, they should not be standing directly in front of the bar seating area. It is entirely unreasonable to expect a customer to awkwardly avert their eyes just because a staff member happens to be standing in their direct line of sight. I am incredibly disappointed by how I was treated. Instead of making customers feel comfortable, this manager's defensive attitude and unnecessary confrontation created a hostile and awkward environment. I expect your management staff to handle themselves with a higher level of professionalism and common sense. There were about 20 people in the restaurant, all of which were my son's team, and the capacaity looked about 60 people or so. The hostess just said 'we cannot serve you'. I asked if we could just sit with my team and not order, she said 'no'. So we walked down the way and had a nice Tim Horton's breakfast. We will be back in the area for hockey many times in the years to come and will definitely not be going to Ricky's!
