Fried chicken, sauce on the side, fries, steamed rice and radish.

The service here is exceptional The closing staff went out of their way to prepare my takeout order even though I came at the last 15 minutes before closing. I was only visiting the bay area for the weekend and lit was a treat to find a place open at the typical hour when most restaurants were already closed. I drove in from Socal tired and hungry. The fried chicken, steamed rice, fries and radish made my evening after a long drive up to Norcal. It was fresh and delicious, not the leftovers of the day at all. I will be back every time I come to the bay area! Mediocre businesses should take note that customers that leave feeling good in every way is what keeps us coming back. Good food alone is not enough to earn high marks!

It's mid and average korean fried chicken, ESPECIALLY for that price. The fries were okay and the cheese balls which were cheese sticks were cold. No stringiness too. The chicken was alright and all there sauces tasted the same. I tried the garlic, house, and chili. It's like slight variations. It didn't come with dipping sauce like the photos too. It's surprisingly crowded and you can put your name on a waitlist which they never bothered calling us back. It takes a while for the food to come out. There's plazas in the area you can for desert though.

So many Korean Fried Chicken spots lately. My friend took me took Pelicana...Nice and more modern than the others but is it better than 99 Chicken? Chicken was good but the sauce overwhelmed it. A little lighter and it would have been better. 99 also puts a lot of sauce but it does not overwhelm the chicken. The snail salad was good but did not go with the chicken at all...I thought it would be light but it seems to be a meal more than a side. We had the whole chicken and I liked it but still prefer flats and legs. The service was nice and we got there early so I helped the server set up. She was really sweet and helpful. Ambiance as stated is nice than most with thought put out for a Korean Fried Chicken experience. Overall, I liked it. The only hit was the overwhelming sauce but at least next time, I can say light on the sauce. Still worth going to for sure!

Finally got a chance to check out this Korean fried chicken place in Cupertino Main! I came here around on a Saturday night around 6:30pm and the place was not very busy with a couple open tables. We were able to get seated right away. The staff were friendly and gave us menus and took us order after a while. There seemed to only be one person at the front and one waiter servicing the sit down area, so the service was a little on the slower side. The menu was fairly simple, and overall had less flavors compared to some other korean fried chicken places around the area like bbq chicken or vons. We ended up ordering the crispy fried chicken and the original chicken with signature sauce. I would say I feel like they seemed to be more generous with the portions compared to some other places, but the fried chicken with sauce was not as good as expected. While there was flavor, it felt a bit flat or bland compared to some of the sauces I've had at other fried chicken places. However, the crispy fried chicken was good. Overall, I think I'd consider coming back for the original or crispy chicken without the sauce.

Ordered takeout from this spot! It wasn't but it was t amazing. The original tasted like a bland KFC while the signature was a liiitle too sweet. I wish it was slightly crispier than it was presented. The cabbage salad wasnt bad. Its a nice alternative to the pickled daikon if you aren't into that. We also ordered the Cheese ball. It was a mochi mozzarella ball . Pretty good! Main takeaway: Not bad if you're craving korean fried chicken but if you have a Vons nearby, do that instead!

Another popular Korean fried chicken chain in the bay area! This place has been at Main Street for a while now. Came here on a weekday night with a friend. Parking at Main Street has never been an issue for me; it's just the matter of parking closer to the restaurants or further away at the parking structures. The restaurant is pretty small so coming here with a big group would not be ideal. We ordered at the counter and grabbed a table. We ordered: $17 Half Original Fried Chicken with Signature Sauce $14 Ddukbokki The ddukbokki came out first and then the chicken 5 minutes later. The crispiness of the chicken and the ddukbokki were decent, but the sauce was very basic and there was nothing that really stood out to me about this place. I'm not a big fan of Bonchon's Korean fried chicken so I personally think this place is better than Bonchon but not as good as bb.q Chicken.

Tried the half original fried chicken with garlic sauce, crispy boneless wings with signature sauce, and sweet potato fries. Pretty good but the sauces were too sweet and syrupy for my liking, especially the signature. Sweet potato fries could have been a bit more crispy but were still enjoyable. Service was good, very friendly and accommodating. It wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. There is a self seating area after you order and seems like it would be a good spot for a quick meal or snack with friends. And of course, they also give gloves to eat the chicken with.

Probably one of my favorite Korean fried chicken spots right now. Ordering is simple. Dining in? Take a seat and order. Take out? Order at the kiosk for to-go. I usually do take out but decided to dine in this time. You get served a cabbage salad and some pickled daikon to accompany your fried chicken. Ended up doing a lunch combo (chicken wings + fries + drink) and a 9 piece entree with the Peli Cheese Balls. Went with the signature sauce and the Spicy Chili sauce on the side, bc if you're a spicy food lover this one packs a punch. It's sweet and carries heat. Think one notch below buldak/fire noodle. The chicken is so crispy and crunchy. Really juice and tender for the most part and flavorful! I had one piece that was a bit on the drier side, but it seemed to be white meat. If you're a fan of pao de quiejo or chewy textured foods like mochi, the Peli cheese balls are for you. Think bread stick meets mozarella stick meets pao de quiejo. Chewy, savory, sweet bread served with marinara. So addicting and satisfying! The portions are generous and this was more than enough for two people to share. Ended up taking the rest of the meal home. Service was simple and quick!

One of the best Korean fried chicken in the Bay Area. Small little store in the Cupertino plaza. Every bite it full of flavor and the chicken is so tender! Really melts in your mouth. I highly recommend getting the French fries and the chicken gangjang. There are some sweet truffle like powder in the fries, making it sweet and flavorful once it entered your mouth! Cannot get enough of it! The chicken gangjung is a sweet flavor with sesame sprinkle on top. The sauce is thick and covers the entire piece of chicken. What's even better is that they add in these chewy, well done Korean rice cake. Personally, I can eat the entire thing!!! You can get any sauce with an order of crispy chicken! All of the flavors and sauces are amazing l! Definitely come and give this place a try! It's a rare find! The chicken stays warms and tenders! Come get your Korean fried chicken here!!

Tasty and delicious . Fries were mix of crunchy and softer pieces- the seasoning very addicting. Chicken pieces are huge - crunchy and juicy. The original had like a five spice after taste and sweet. The garlic sauce was my favorite. Ddukbokki - I could probably have ate the whole dish if the chicken wasn't so meaty. Stir fried gizzards - chewy and flavorful. There were whole garlic cloves which I actually really liked. I think we could have used more of the radish to balance out all the sauces. I'd come back for sure

One of the more upcoming plazas, somewhat a Cupertino version of Santana row. Service was very fast and the restaurant is very clean. The half chicken contains breast meat! Usually pretty rare to see this in any KoreanFC. Breast meat are a hit or miss for people but these are battered and fried. Honestly, I've felt like I've had better. The flavor isn't all there and the meat tasted dry (besides the breast/white meat), this includes the dark meat. The sauce isn't too original even though it's call the signature sauce.

    HALF Crispy Fried Chicken
    Maurine S.

Hubs was in the area and got me some KFC! I really did like it even though he brought it home an hour later! It was still fairly crispy and every bite was tender! Even the white meat! Maybe because it was a hot day the chicken stayed warm during the drive home! Gave it four stars because it was still warm and every bite was tender and the chicken was still crisp. Will have to go in person to see how it tastes fresh!

HALF Original Fried Chicken, Signature Sauce
    Wing K.

Solid, crispy Korean fried chicken! Upon entering the store, there is a self-ordering machine but you can also order at the cashier. We used the machine and it was pretty straightforward. While waiting, I noticed it's quite spacious and there are a decent amount of seatings. We ordered takeout for half original fried chicken with signature sauce. There is a good mix of chicken wings and drumsticks. The sauce was delicious and has a nice sweet, savory flavor. I enjoyed the sweet taste, but it does get a little boring after eating multiples. The chicken pieces were a bit soggy from the sauce but still had a nice crunch and texture. The meat were juicy and well cooked. For the price, I think it's average considering the Bay Area prices($18 for half) and the flavor and quality made up for it. Overall, would recommend if you want Korean fried chicken and in the plaza.

There seems to be quite a few changes. The menu now leans very tapas heavy. There were a lot of options that was quite overwhelming. The menu itself wasn't very descriptive either, we had to ask our servers to explain several dishes. For starters: Mushroom Risotto: (0/5) bland, like REALLY bland to the point were I second guess if they forgot to seasoned it. We flag it and the servers offered us to sent back to the kitchen and we'll pick something else from the menu. Catch of the day, Miso Black Cod: (2/5) Fish were pan seared on a bed of wild rice. Fish top was nice and crispy, but seems under seasoned. The miso was sweet and tangy, but lacked strong unami miso flavor. Wild Salmon Lemon Beurro Blanc: (3/5) This was the dish we opt to switch for the risotto as it was recommend twice by 2 different server. The salmon was questionably very white, (not sure if that's normal for wild salmon). The taste does have the butteriness of salmon but the texture was less soft and has more bounce to it which was nice and different. The salmon itself was also very under seasoned but the mashed potatoes that came with it was really good and saved this dish! Bone in Short Rib: (2/5) Short rib came pipping hot and looked very saucy and promising! It was served with broccolini that has a nice snap to them and some potatoes. The potatoes under were kinda cold. The short rib was again, under seasoned. If it came if a little bit more sauce, that maybe could have saved it. We asked for salt & pepper to seasoned all our dishes, the server came back 10 minutes later asked for it to give to another table since they only have one set for the entire restaurant. Other things to note: - Phone reception is bad, try to look at pictures of the dishes beforehand since it took us forever to load pictures on yelp and the menu weren't helpful. - Servers were nice & friendly but I can tell they were busy, there's multiple times we failed trying to flag them. - Food took quite a while to come out, around 20-30 minutes. It seems now that the focus has shifted more toward being a bar with small tapas and cocktails, rather than a food-centered experience. I wish I had read more recent reviews beforehand--it seems I'm not the only one who's noticed a decline in food quality. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back.
