What it Should look like.

Just YUCK. Not sure what happened but the Kung. Pao chicken just tastes nothing like it used to and most of the chicken so far is chewy and not really edible. Also UPDATE YOUR PHOTOS. It's False Advertising so show sliced carrots in there photo but used shredded carrots. I wouldn't have even ordered this dish much less have paid for Extra carrots. The peanuts actually taste old as well. After about 6 bites I will just be throwing it out. The crab ragoons were still good but what a Total Waste of almost $12 for the Kung Pao Chicken. Absolutely and completely disappointed. Now I have to go out and buy something else and am already exhausted today.. hence getting something I Thought would be good and quick on the way home. UGGGHHH!!!

Service and food quality are lacking for the price. Go somewhere else! Didn't get what I ordered and didn't get a refund.

I'm glad the staff are knowledgeable about the place they work, and the energy surrounding the place is nice too. Peaceful and quiet chatter amongst others and no unpleasant noises or disturbances. The food is definitely something to praise too. I always end up eating nearly 2-3 all you can eat plates of bulgogi myself, their shrimp, and la galbi (beef short rib) are quite nice too. But the side dishes are my absolute favorite! Although the chicken and dipping sauces aren't something to fuss over, they're not horrible. Top recommendation: Bulgogi, la galbi & side dishes I'm looking forward to coming back again, and hopefully (unlike the many times before) I leave room for dessert! The yakgwa sundae looks promising.

As regular patrons of hot pot for date night, bf and I decided to try this place…read more I'll sort by pros and cons as I see it related to other hot pot places we've had: PROS: - Hot pot and BBQ grill at the same time for the same price! Great value there - Fairly large vegetable/noodle/etc bar - Waiters were incredibly attentive - All meats tasted high quality CONS: - No true "sauce bar"--I kind of tried to replicate my usual combo using the salad supplies and sauces - The meats are clearly made for either the grill or the pot 80% of the time with very few that can do both. For example, pork belly (grill) is different from THIN pork belly (pot). Beef belly worked best in the pot. Chicken worked best on the grill. Etc - Beef broth I got for my hotpot was decent but worse than most pork bone broths I default to For the same price as Seapot, I'd still personally prefer Seapot. But I think this place does best a lot of competition like Nan and Hai Di Lao. Give it a try for sure.

Before we even walked through the doors, we were hit with the most incredible aromas coming from the restaurant. It immediately made us excited to eat. Once inside, we were greeted with warm smiles by Leona, who was absolutely adorable and incredibly attentive to everyone dining there. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail. We will absolutely be back--and as soon as our little man arrives, we'll be adding sushi to our order too! Giving Rumdoul 5's with zero hesitation.

They specialize in their signature ramen bowls, handcrafted noodles, savory bao and dumplings. On my last visit, I tried the Wontonamen Ramen. They start with your favorite broth followed by handcrafted noodles, marinated egg, bamboo shoots, scallions, nori and naruto. Then it is topped with your choice of wonton. This is quality comfort food at its finest. Ramen head offers a wait list which is a good option on the weekend. If this is your first time the servers are very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The interior is modern and clean and the noise level is moderate. It is easy to have a conversation. Because of this, the only ramen I could try was the vegetable ramen, which was okay... The dumplings were somehow a little undercooked while falling apart, and the broth needed vigorous seasoning. Definitely not the worst ramen I've had but by far not the best, either. The Tokyo hot deviled eggs were pretty good, but they were out of everything else I wanted to order so my review is stuck to what I could try.

I think they kept the same decor and seating arrangement as the previous owner - still very spacious with lots of seating. It was pretty empty when we came by -- probably normal a couple of days after Thanksgiving. Pro tip: there's a section with only Chinese names, and that's where the better, more authentic dishes are. The "lunch special" side feels more Americanized. Food came out fast (about 10 minutes). My favorites were the litchi-shaped pork, 老酒蛏子, and the three-braised combo. The pork was very lean with great sweet and sour sauce. The 老酒蛏子 was fragrant, tender, and full of umami. The three-braised combo was braised just right and very flavorful; didn't need the extra sauce on the side. Only one person was working the floor (the boss lady), who was very chatty since it wasn't busy. Overall, a decent spot.

Since it was our first time here, the server suggested some dishes for us. We finally settled on the drunken pork ribs, egg tofu, and a meat soup. The egg tofu was delicious. But don't get it wrong. Egg tofu is not really regular tofu. It was made from steaming beaten eggs and soy milk. The texture was just as soft and silky as tofu. Fried to a golden brown, the tofu was placed on top of bok choy in a glossy brown sauce. The dish looked simple, but it was very tasty. The drunken fried pork was crispy and tasty. But the alcohol flavor could be stronger. The rabbit soup was the star. Yes, rabbit soup! I don't remember the last time I had rabbit meat. The soup was prepared with red yeast rice (紅糟米), which is new to me. To my surprise, the soup was very savory with a strong taste of wine (from the yeast fermentation). We loved it! This item is not on the menu for some reason. So if you want to try something exotic, ask the server about it. The place is cozy and homey. The server was attentive and friendly. She came by to check on us a few times. We appreciated it. Overall, we enjoyed the meal. We'll come back to try the other dishes.
