It was a great place to stop and get a vanilla latte. There were not too many people in the store when I gave my order. I appreciated the menu sign with multiple options on it. Thank you

Chai latte & roasted tomato focaccia $9 special !!!
Donna N.

Came for the $9 special latte & hot sandwich combo running 5/18-5/31 First they are out of stock of the only vegan plant based Sammie so I opted for the "herbalicious"roasted tomato focaccia sandwich, very savory & cheesy !! 2nd I brought my own cup, but it wasn't used .. 3rd I was told the $9 special was unavailable but finally the mgr stepped in & adjusted the price for me !! ( Dont know if I Got my points or credit for bringing my own cup !? ) Anyway it was ok but what a hassle & I hate to hold up the line bc of my special order !!! This Peets is smaller & cozier than my hometown coffee bar in Hercules, so there is often a line to order ! The vibe is chill though ... Very disappointed that the only vegan breakfast sandwich is unavailable- that was the main reason I went !! Also the Alternative milk is not available for no extra charge until June ! Not convenient, not that good of a deal

Bardi Mule.

Excellent customer service my order was ready when I arrived. I ordered the Bardi mule it had cold brew coffee with ginger beer. Delicious and refreshing on a hot day.

This was just what I needed. A refreshing pick me up. I found it in a large hibiscus iced tea with light lemonade. Made perfectly delicious hydrating everything I needed in a moment service was fast the workers were pleasant; I got a couple of smiles; the store was clean; it was a great visit!

Cold Brew, Frappé, and Tea menu at Peet's Coffee at the Pinole Valley Shopping Center in Pinole.

The Peet's Coffee empire just keeps expanding into local suburbia and no greater example of this is their location in Pinole. Located in the Pinole Vista Shopping Center since the remodel of this outdoor shopping center over a decade and a half ago, I have been here many a time. I've watched them thrive and evolve over time, but what hasn't changed is their limited space as they take up a mere sliver of this massive shopping center despite them being one of the most popular destinations within the center. What brought me here after a long period away was the fact that Peet's Coffee was commemorating the spring season with a BOGO springtime beverage deal. The marketing team at Peet's Coffee is smart enough to send out a number of emails reminding their loyal customers who use their app that this deal was for a limited time and time was almost up before you could take advantage of this deal before it expired. What was in the small print and I did not realize before arriving here was that this deal only applied limited time spring limited time offer beverage, which is basically anything with Honey Almond flavoring. Assuming I could get this deal for their signature Frappes, I fully began to order two Frappes for myself and a friend, since it was a Buy One Get One deal, but the barista had to tell me this deal only pertained to their Spring beverage promotions so I had to decide quickly on what I wanted, and since I had recently gone to another location nearby and tried their Honey Almond Latte with Almond Milk, and I thought it was one of the richest handcrafted drinks that I have enjoyed in some time. So of course, I was still going to take advantage of this limited time beverage deal. Since it was so warm outside on the day I went, I knew that getting iced coffees was the only way to go. So with a limited menu to order from I went with their Honey Almond Latte with Almond Milk, on ice, which infused sweet and nutty flavors into rich Espresso Forte and almond milk for my friend, and for myself their Almond Cold Brew Oat Latte, which is automatically served on ice, served with oat milk that is frothed to perfection and infused with a nutty almond syrup before being layered with double strength cold brew. With only two baristas working on site, my drinks would actually take quite some time, as a number of other people were waiting around for their orders, which would also lead to their cashier area being completely ignored as the people in line began to multiply as they two baristas were focused on making beverages. With so many people waiting, it began to get rather warm inside of their cafe, as we waited, but finally our drinks were ready for pickup, and even over ice the Honey Almond Latte with Almond Milk was a delightful spring drink, and my Almond Cold Brew Oat Latte was a nice combination of nuttiness and strong cold coffee. The total cost for my two medium sized beverages was $6.75, which for two drinks, was more that reasonable. Despite the size constrictions of the store, the team at this location of Peet's Coffee was extremely professional and after ordering the incorrect drink for the BOGO deal they managed to change it quickly enough that I was waiting for my drinks to be prepared alongside everyone else. Here's to this location of Peet's Coffee, as their exterior sign has been updated to reflect that Tea is no longer a priority on their menu, and their interior menus have been updated to electronic signage, this proves their in for the long haul, as us loyal customers are here to go along for the ride!

I usually come to Peet's coffee to get my hot chocolate but this time my bf and I decided to try something new. I was a little hungry and got a cinnamon bun and an iced vanilla latte. I ordered my bf a tea refresher but to my surprise he wasn't a huge fan of it. I actually loved his drink and he loved mine so we decided to switch lol. Definitely will order my tea refresher shaker!!

Frappe Peppermint Mocha

Today I came in and I wanted to try their peppermint mocha. I ordered a large, the drink itself was as a Gen Z would say mid. I also ordered a slice of the pumpkin bread toasted. The pumpkin bread tasted stale.

There were three staff members in total (thin build, Latino male), medium build Filipino female with glasses, and a thin build Asian female). The male was working on an in person order when I walked in, seven to ten minutes later the same woman was standing around waiting for parts of her order - no other in person customer was being assisted. A young woman, who had placed an online order for two coffee drinks asked repeatedly if anyone was going to make her drink order. It took two staff members - Asian female, Latino male) - to help figure it out, each debating who was going to make it. The Filipino female kept coming from the back to bring sandwich items to seated waiting customers. The male continued to look at online orders before helping the family of three in front of me. When their order was finalized, the male walked away from the register and proceeded to look at the online orders. He said nothing to the line, did not acknowledge our presence. He went to the back to make a sandwich - again two staff members working on one thing (Filipino female, Latino male) while in person customers stood and waited. The Filipino female asked what him what was in the bag while standing at the front of the store. The other Asian female was still working on the coffee drinks from the online order from when I first walked in. After about ten minutes of being walked by and disregarded, while waiting to be acknowledged, I asked is anyone going to take our orders at the counter? The male replied, "Yes, but we have a lot of online orders and we'll get to you shortly." So online orders take precedent over those waiting in store to purchase? If this is the case, then why are there only three staff members who are clearly not organized nor serve in the capacity of enough staff to assist customers online and in person? If I had not asked about being helped, no telling how long staff would had continued to ignore us. The Filipino female walked over, asked how my day was and asked what she could get me. After each donut selection shared, anything else?... She was being passive aggressive in her tone and with her words. As I was waiting to select my receipt options, she saiid, "All of that for two donuts" to the male. Who both went into the back while the rest of the building line waited. When I finished my receipt selection and entering my phone number, the father and son behind me were still waiting without any assistance or staff acknowledgement.. If I had not promised my daughter a donut prior to order road trip, I would have left long before. Worse service as it was nonexistent to those in person. There were three staff, two were doing staff and the third at the front was nonexistent. Do better Dynamite, your customer service was absent yesterday, staff not at all prepared or organized and your store is not staffed to assist both online and in person without neglecting in person. Communication was nonexistent as well, leaving customers standing in line without a single word or thought of returning any time soon. Online orders, you'll be waiting too. There were three people who walked in, going directly the register with a phone in their hands. They were waiting two for the pickup while the young lady wanted her coffees made. The ambiance here...people were upset across the board. I would rather drive to Pinole and get service, Dynamite donuts are not worth that wait or nonexistent level of service.
