I work 7:00am-3:30pm and the latest appointment they do is 3:15pm. They are open Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm and Fridays 8:00-1:00pm. They do not work Saturdays. 2. I work remotely, a desk job, and my vision would start off fine in the beginning of my day, but a few hours into my day; my vision would get blurry for a few hours, then go back to being fine in the afternoon. The doctor kept testing my vision in the exam room; as in seeing if there was something wrong with my lenses. It turned out my eyes were dry. How can a doctor not know when a patients eye is dry? That is alarming to me. Luckily, he has been patient throughout the process; but is frustrating to see an optometrist who cannot detect dry eyes. 3. If you have an appointment at 12:00, plan to n being there until 1:30pm. The doctor does not see you until 12:45/1:00pm.

They measured for contact's and glasses and gave me some samples as my prescription changed a bit (actually got a bit better). I did my research on contact lenses and analyzed about five online companies and the best price overall was through this office. That was a pleasant surprise. I had to pop by on the weekend and they opened just for me so I could get my contacts. The only reason I would not give a five is that they changed office hours and are no longer open officially on Saturday. That was a bummer as it was a prime reason for my choosing them. Otherwise, they are wonderful.

The tech did a very friendly, thorough and efficient looksy with imaging equipment, and shortly after Dr. took me into the exam room. It was a typical exam, yet with a fantastic manner and approach. I told her that my previous said I couldn't wear contact lenses, because of astigmatism. She said, "let's see." She did several additional checks and measurements, then provide three options for contacts. We choose the simplest option (distance vision correction only), and left open the options of bifocal-type lenses, or one lens for distance and the other for reading, which my wife has. I'm scheduled for a new-contact-wearer lesson and fitting. Assuming all goes as expected, this review will stand.

While I waited on the lady that would take care of me, another lady behind the desk just sat there. She could easily refunded my money and I would be gone. Instead I waited nearly 30 minutes to be taken care of. If you choose to go here, ask for ALL the possible charges and what you can do if the things are not just right with the exam and glasses. I was not upset for the original cost, but I don't like to be be cheated for bad glasses and exams. I own a business and I'd be out of business if I treated my customers this way. It has also negatively affected my vision considerably. After examining my eyes, Shibata stated that my vision has diminished considerably in one eye (duh !!! That's why I came in. The eye that got something in it !!!). I agreed with him and AGAIN stated that it began the day after I got something in my eye that caused severe stinging, burning and vision impairment. His response.... "But you really didn't get anything in your eye." .....WTF !!!! I guess he thinks I'm to ignorant to really know when something actually gets into my eye. Or maybe he thinks he was really there with me when it happened...... !!!! Don't go see them, or let them examine you !!

It's the first time I ever left without purchasing glasses or contacts. I don't recommend dealing with this Visionworks other than for eye exams. This is the second bad experience I had with the people selling the glasses at this location.

Svetlana discovered that I had two retina tears in my left eye back in November of 2011, and immediately sent me to Associated Retina Specialists in Phoenix. I am very thankful I went in to see her that Saturday, as I was possibly spared from having a detached retina. I have been seeing Svetlana for all of our optical needs, and she gives a very through examination. Everything is carefully explained during the exam, and she makes us feel very comfortable. Svetlana is very sharp, and every visit is enjoyable. If you want a through, professional eye exam for contacts or glasses, contact the Anthem Wal-Mart Vision Center and set an appointment. I am very picky regarding the Optometrist's I see & Dr. Loe was by far one of the very best I have ever seen! Compassionate, knowledgeable & really took the time to complete a comprehensive exam. Leans towards the conservative side in his recommendations (which I like). And, most importantly, really knows his stuff! I have to mention the amazing staff too... Brandon was my initial contact. So knowledgeable, friendly and transparent regarding what to expect. Alex (the optician) was a real treat too! She has many years of experience & her advice & guidance was exceptional. My only disappointment is that MyEyeDr does NOT contract with Zeiss Lenses. I have been wearing Zeiss Lenses for over 20yrs. They are expensive, but they are superlative over others I have tried. I wish myeyedr would consider expanding their lens option's for their patient's... But Dr. Loe will be giving me my refraction's from this day forward!!
