I was advised it is $140 and I scheduled an appointment for today. When I arrived in the office this morning, they confirmed the price that it is $140 for the contact exam. When I finished my exam which lasted literally 3 minutes I was asked to order contact for 12 months. I said that since I don't have vision coverage anymore, I do need to shop around before I order. The lady told me that my total is $240. First, I thought she just misspoke and I corrected her that it is $140. She said no, it is $240 since my exam was very detailed. I was surprised how the exam can be very detailed if it lasted only 3 minutes. I paid and left and I will take my business somewhere else.

After my visit with the doctor, I went to order my prescription, the target optical associate literally held her index finger up telling me to wait. Rude! When my turn come to select frames and all, I had what I like and told the associate that I just need something simple and affordable computer glasses that my insurance would pay for. I ended up paying $95 more because the affordable ones that I wanted was "too small" according to the associate. I wonder if the associate got paid more for upselling.
