Ill try and keep this brief because I feel as if I've already wasted enough time with this…read morebusiness. I had an appointment July 2nd which was completed on that same date. On that date I paid for my exam for lenses which included a pair of designer frames and contacts as well. Three weeks pass and I hear nothing so I call to check in. The person who is spoke to did not provide an update on when I could expect to come and pick up the glasses but advised me to call back in two weeks. I wait 3 weeks and reach back out to them August 25th or 26th regarding the matter. On this date the representative placed me on a hold advised that she needed to speak with her manager and someone would call me back. I give them a business day and do not hear anything so I call back on Friday 8/28/26. Then the rep tells me the frames arrived. So then they send out to me the automated texts that my eye wear is ready for pick up. I take time out of my work day to go to clarckson eye care on 8/31/26. I'm greeted by the two reps at the front desk which who at least one of the young ladies I corresponded with on the phone. I neglected to mention she was very rude. She asked to place me on hold and before I could say anything I heard the hold music. Her customer service skills were awful. So awful in fact normally I let things like this slide and move forward but I feel the only way to be heard is to take more time to leave this review of the atrocious service. Now when I arrived on 8/31/26 the young lady sitting to the right asked me to take a seat. Where I waited. She then comes out and asks me did I order lenses only? Who orders lenses only. Secondly no the receipt which I had which no one cared to look at shows at the bottom I ordered frames as well. She goes back into the back office. Mind you when all this is happening the girl is continually laughing at what seems to be my visible frustration with the situation. She showed no empathy only amused that I was dissatisfied. She herself or someone from the back room comes back and pulls frames from the wall. These were the frames that I did order. I think asked the woman if these frames were from the wall and she goes she thinks so she will get her co worker. Another woman comes from the back and tells me they did not have my frames so they are giving me the display frames from the wall. I hesitantly tried them on and they did appear to fit so instead of causing a stir I took the frames home with me. But here are my issues. How come I ordered those frames 7/2/26 but I was not notified by anyone until 8/31/26 when I went to pick up my eyewear the frames I ordered were not carried. That was the whole point of spending the time on 7/2/26 picked out the frames I wanted so they could be ordered from wherever they were stored. If I would have been told the frames were not being carried anymore at the time of sale I would have chose different frames or at least known what is was getting. On that note if the frames were already there on the wall? When did the lenses arrive and how come you couldn't have the decency to have them installed upon my arrival? They removed the option for me to choose if I wanted display frames before running the transaction billing my insurance. That in my opinion is not right. This whole process could have been remedied with simple communications like cause for the delay in handling .I know from experience and per the clarckson themselves most frames do not take this long. All they had to do is call and explain the delay and set some expectations which is not unreasonable for a repeat or any paying customer. In addition I was never contacted by a manger never advised of the delay never advised of when the lenses came in. They left me in the dark about everything. I will never come back to this place, it's a perfect example of once they get your money that's all they care about once that's complete you become an after thought. If I could rate them lower I would. Buyer beware make sure to asked them details prior to your purchase

I have spent a hefty amount on office visits, contact fittings, 2 rounds of eye dilations and the lens and frame. It's been a non-stop process for about a month now. I went in on Thursday for an eye dilation to help my eyes "adjust to the prescription" and I have worn either the glasses or contacts religiously. I am still not adjusting. I am not driving since I don't feel comfortable. I just called and they can't see me until the 22nd (dr is going on vacation) and said they will check but I might have to pay another visit fee. Is this all normal or do they just suck? The contacts are a little better distance wise but it just doesn't feel "clear". Vision is worse than before and my bank account is down $700.

Front desk staff had me checked in quickly and the initial vision tests were performed quickly. I don't recall her name, but she was very thorough and personable--asking the right questions before Dr. Patel met with me. Dr. Patel conducted full vision tests, reviewed my exams and asked what I was looking for from my glasses (seeing far/close, my line of work, hobbies that might require vision needs, etc.). During my frames and lense selection, Kendall was excellent. She had me select frames that I liked, then offered similar looking alternatives that actually ended up being the frames I selected. She then went thru the lenses options and offered input to ensure I was making the best decisions for my needs. I can't thank her enough! Overall, this is exactly how the process should work. My appointment took less than an hour, I was involved in the feedback and selection process from start to finish, and the staff were both friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Yen helped me find great fitting glasses that were fully covered by my insurance and gave me recommendations on lens to help my eyes long term.
