My wife has been going to this clinic for sometime and she has always been treated with good service. My issue here is the lack of accountability with their billing department that is a third party. I received a letter stating that I owe an amount, when I call the clinic they told me to call my insurance. My insurance tells me they already paid one claim but have not received the 2nd one. When I called the eye clinic they were unaware of this told me they will get back to me but received no call. Almost a month have past and I still have no answer, I still have to wait fir the third party to figure out if I owe something from one year ago. read more

We've been going to Keller Eye Care for many years and have happy with the doctors that we have seen. The ability to schedule an appointment is less than desirable. The earliest availability to schedule over this past year has been approximately three months out. I don't need same day, same week appointments but need an office that can accommodate an appointment within the next month. My contact lenses fitting last year was to the point of comical. We had to go through several different brands and strengths to find one that worked. After each trial, I would have to wait 1-2 weeks for the doctor to be available to respond to a message and prescribe a different option. This lead to my fitting lasting nearly two months, which I find to be unacceptable. read more

These guys were my goto people for my eye care. After receiving a text that my eye exam was due in December 2020, I called to schedule an appointment, but was told there were no appointments until mid February 2021. Ok, but why text me if that was the case? Anyway, made the appointment for 2/5/21. Arrived 15 min early, had to sit in my car due to CV-19, which is dumb, because everyone has to wear a mask anyway. In any case, I finally gained an audience and received a good exam, but when it came time for my new lenses for my two pairs of glasses, that is where things went south... ...during my previous visits, they measured my eyes and checked how the lenses would fit my glass frames, etc. this wasn't done, but after none glare coatings and all these other fees, even after insurance, very pricy. Ok, got to pay for what you need, quality, etc. I pay and leave as they had to order my lenses. They said they would let me know when they were ready. Several weeks later, after not hearing back, I called and they said that my lenses were in. So I brought my glasses in to have the new lenses added. They called me back later in the day and said that one pair was ready, bu the second pair the lenses were misfit and would have to be redone. So they gave me back both pair, no fitting, etc. After I examined the pair where the lenses were replaced, I noticed gaps around the frame and the new lenses, so it looks like those will have to redone as well. Not sure what happened to the quality control here, but I know will have to make several more trips to get the new lenses figured out. Paid up front for these and had the trust and confidence that for the money I paid, things would be spot on the first time. It is now 3/16 and my lenses are apparently ready, but now I have been told that I will have to drop off one pair of glasses to ensure that the new lenses are fit properly and then drop off the second set for the same reason. Still wasn't told our mistake, here is a discount, etc. at some point I will drop off both pairs and hope for the best, but all in all a disappointment and customer service fail. 3 stars only because the doctor was thorough and professional, but - 2 stars for the lens fiasco. read more

I agree with the other reviewer about something having changed. Been going here for 10 years. Adjustments and repairs were always handled quickly and professionally. Now, my very expensive glasses, through NO fault of my own, are broken. Apparently, they are out of warranty. I thought they came with a lifetime warranty. The repair costs $100. The rub, however, is that when I brought them in, a few days ago, to get them fixed, they never said it would cost me ANYTHING. I've never paid for any repairs, warranty or not. So, when I came in to pick them up, and they told me it would be $100 for a tiny piece of metal, I had to leave with them broken. I tried to ask about other options, but that request fell on deaf ears. I'm sad to see such a formerly great place fall so hard. read more

Have known Steve at Keller Eye Care (Dr. Thomas Office) for years. I do not have insurance and he worked with me to where it was affordable. I came back on a separate visit to pick out glasses with my wife and we chose 2 pairs. He said he could have one pair ready 30 minutes later. I returned and was surprised that both pairs were finished. Love the fact that they over delivered my expectations. Clean and courteous establishment and staff. I've just walked out of the office receiving eye glasses after paying out of pocket for eye examS and glasses. After spending more than I've ever spent on glasses....I simply asked if someone could check my eye to see if there was a particle in my eye or if there were a scratch. The staff was wonderful! Very friendly, caring and extremely helpful. They were able to work with my insurance to provide me with the best possible outcome. Dr. Morgan was pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough during my examination and answered all my questions. She never made me feel rushed and really took the time to explain the exam and results.They also have a nice selection of glasses in their showroom. Don't order from the office!!! 2 weeks after my examine the office told me my contacts were back ordered for another 3 weeks. I've been going here for years. The staff is friendly. Dr Thomas explains what she's doing and makes sure all of your questions are answered. I usually get contacts here. I've looked at glasses. They are all designer, with designer prices. Since I only wear glasses for a couple hours at night, I'd prefer to have a cheaper pair. Keller Eye Care has the most friendly, helpful, courteous staff. We have 2 children one in college and another teen,plus both my husband and wear glasses & contact. Something has changed at KEC. And not for the better. All was well for the past few year visits however my last visit was an issue in trying to get my contacts RX. Had daily contact trials for 10 days and called the office to ask for my RX and found out that I had to be seen again so that the Doctor could sign off on the RX. Unfortunately had to leave town and used all the trials. I went back to glasses and leftovers of previous contact RX. Emailed several times while out of town and while I had multiple replies there wasn't much traction in getting me the RX even after explaining the situation. I visited the office and was treated very poorly by Steve. His attitude was condescending and I felt like he wanted to pick a fight. Told me to SIT DOWN in the waiting area until he could find a solution...only this was after he gave me a list of excuses of why he couldn't help. Frustrated I left telling Steve to email or call when he had a solution. Big surprise but Steve never called back. Finally received my RX after sending a forth email. Have to confess that Steve sealed the deal that my family and I won't be coming back. read more

I took my 7 year old daughter for her first eye appointment on June 7th and was a little nervous since we were unsure what to expect. When we arrived the receptionist was very nice. The wait time was not long and then we were introduced to Cassandra who performed many test on my daughter. She was wonderful! She made my daughter feel very comfortable, helped her with each test and was very patient. We were then taken to a room and I was introduce to the Dr. Julie who was also wonderful. She was so through and helpful. She took the best care of my daughter who does have some disabilities. She explained what she was doing and also did additional testing to help resolve the issues going on with my daughters left eye. I felt some relief at the level or professionalism and compassion. Dr. Julie made the experience definitely more manageable. After we were done, Dr. Julie introduced us to Steve, who helped us pick out a pair of glasses. He was amazing as well. He could sense my anxiety, but made the experience tolerable and easy.   I also need to get the glass by the next day because my daughter was going out of town on Monday and he (Steve /Dr. Julie) made it happen.  I came back in on Saturday, and was greeted by the same receptionist from the previous day (very nice and pleasant) and she quickly got us helped. I had the pleasure to meet Nikki (who was wonderful). She did such a great job helping my daughter with her new glasses. She made the experience pleasant.  Overall, my experience from start to finish was amazing. I will definitely recommend  your establishment to family and friends! read more

Dr. Thomas and her staff have always gone well beyond in caring for her patients. We have been going to her since she started her practice. She has squeezed me in on two separate emergency eye issues and a third time on a Saturday when they were supposed to be closed to take care of an eye injury. I cannot say enough good about her caring demeanor, great staff accommodating schedule for emergencies. To give and idea how much she is respected and liked, She has a former employee who cannot work due to illness but was in one day and felt the need to help patients even though she was not employed at the time. Dr Pamela Thomas and staff were great. I've been wearing contacts and glasses since I was a child (about 35 years) and I know a good Optometrist when I go to one. She was very friendly, took time to talk to me and understand my needs (now that I'm 46) and try a new contact prescription for me that I was unaware they even made.
