I got set with doctor Maria Soto, when she came in she seemed a little stressed when I first met her. I was a little concerned something was wrong so was genuinely asking her if she was okay. She said she was fine and I dropped it, after that we seemed to be alright. I had questions about payments and she directed me to the front desk, the ladies there were really nice and we sparked up a decent conversation as well! When I came back to the examination room she said she was offended by me, I was confused by this since I never said anything or implied anything offensive. I asked her what she meant and she said how I asked how she was doing "pissed her off" I was genuinely shocked that me asking how she was doing had made her upset. When I was telling her I was just trying to be an accommodating client and trying to be helpful she said I was turning the tables against her and that she did not need any talking and to forget it. She said she would carry on with the exam, but at this point I had enough. We went into an argument about it in the lobby and in front of my mother, with her also being appalled by Maria Soto's reactions. We are not coming back here ever again and if you do get Soto, do not try talking with her or get personal with her. She gets easily offended and will make you regret trying to making small talk or asking even genuine questions.

I walked inside Walmart then to the Vision Center and through the back, but there's actually a door where the vending machines are outside that are clearly labeled. The rest were a very unprofessional group of people that showed indifference while performing their jobs. I chose this provider under new vision insurance because they offered the additional Retina Screening for an additional charge. When I went for my exam I was told they didn't offer it. After checking, they said they do offer it but it's a seperate exam that has to be done at a second appointment on a different day. I never had a problem with previous providers. I should have left then! It gets worse. After my eye exam, I went to pick out frames and they had a very small, limited selection. After asking for assistance, I got my lenses picked out. Options were only explained after I asked questions. I felt like i was bothering the attendant. The glasses were due in from the lab in 10 days, but that ended up being a month. I go to pick them up and they were so bad that I couldn't see out of them. I kept saying this was not my prescription. But they checked and they were made to my prescription. Then they kept asking me if it was a bad prescription or bad location of the progressive areas. I said "I don't know, you're supposed to be the professionals." Later, In comparison, the 1st prescription from them was very different from last years prescription. I was there another hour while they tried to convince me to take them home to see if my eyes "got used to them" while I kept refusing to take them. The eye tech keep saying they could re-make them "only one time" under insurance like it was my fault. I left without the glasses. It was such a bad experience that I almost walked away and wasn't even going to go back for a refund. I had to make another eye exam appointment with a 2nd doctor which resulted in a very different prescription from the first one the 1st doctor did. The new prescription was similar with minor changes to my previous prescriptions so it was a bad eye exam and bad prescription. Then Lisa helped me with the new prescription & lense change. I felt so much more comfortable and confidant with her. She recommended a frame change from half frames to full frames because of the lense change. She took care of everything. The new prescription glasses came in 20 days later. The new glasses were fine. Luckily Lisa was there when I went to pick my glasses up. She expertly fitted the glasses for me. If I based the review on just Lisa and the 2nd doctor it would be 5 stars.
