I contacted the office multiple times seeking assistance and clarification about services and coverage. During each call, I remained polite and respectful. Unfortunately, the tone and manner in which I was spoken to felt dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I did not receive clear guidance despite calling several times, and the conversations felt focused only on payment rather than patient care and understanding. As a Medicaid patient, I left these interactions feeling judged and unwelcome. This experience was deeply upsetting and made me feel discouraged about seeking care through your location. No patient should feel uncomfortable or ashamed when trying to access medical services. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed. At minimum, I hope additional training can be provided to ensure all patients are treated with respect, fairness, and professionalism regardless of insurance type or background. In the end they made it right but lying to me about the lenses from the frames which became discontinued, not fitting into the Gen 2 was confirmed to be a lie. In the end it saved me $50 but cost me a months use. Lenses are like rentals. I lost a months life on them as they sat on a self.

From start to finish we had the consult, the surgery, the day after surgery check up, the other eye surgery, the other eye day after check up, and a week after that the last post surgery check up. I really liked the office and my mom has has no issues. There are a lot of negative reviews and I think if they went over the documents in more detail about the hazards of eye surgery they would have less bad reviews... but for us, knowing what this was going to entail? I got set with doctor Maria Soto, when she came in she seemed a little stressed when I first met her. I was a little concerned something was wrong so was genuinely asking her if she was okay. She said she was fine and I dropped it, after that we seemed to be alright. I had questions about payments and she directed me to the front desk, the ladies there were really nice and we sparked up a decent conversation as well! When I came back to the examination room she said she was offended by me, I was confused by this since I never said anything or implied anything offensive. I asked her what she meant and she said how I asked how she was doing "pissed her off" I was genuinely shocked that me asking how she was doing had made her upset. When I was telling her I was just trying to be an accommodating client and trying to be helpful she said I was turning the tables against her and that she did not need any talking and to forget it. She said she would carry on with the exam, but at this point I had enough. We went into an argument about it in the lobby and in front of my mother, with her also being appalled by Maria Soto's reactions. We are not coming back here ever again and if you do get Soto, do not try talking with her or get personal with her. She gets easily offended and will make you regret trying to making small talk or asking even genuine questions.
