Would not recommend!! Was told that I needed pair of bifocals. I was skeptical at first but was told to try them and if they don't work then they would resolve the issue. This was said by the eye doctor. Issue not resolved. Was like walking in a 3D picture and constant headache within minutes. Couldn't drive or do anything with them. Their fix was to lower down glasses to my slight stigmatism. A $200.00 pair of glasses cost me $400.00 as there was no refund if original pair didn't work. Wouldn't trust them again with my eyes. This was my 1st adult eye exam and Dr. Martinez made the entire experience hassle free, quick, efficient, and welcoming! Her office is gorgeous, clean, and welcoming. Not going to lie, I was a bit nervous but was quickly put at ease by the welcoming staff. I know I went in for a simple eye exam but I've rarely had good experiences with any type of doctor. When I made the appointment, I was told to print off the medical forms from their website. This made checking in quite easy and fast. I only waited for 5 minutes until I was called back. My blood pressure was taken and a quick test was administered before I saw Dr. Martinez. My actual visit with her was thorough and I felt she truly wanted to find the perfect prescription for me. She asked several questions and clarified for understanding. I greatly appreciated her thoroughness and patience. This was one of the best experiences I've had with a doctor! I was then given my prescription and escorted to the area to find my new glasses. The person who helped me find my new pair of glasses was beyond helpful, kind, and patient! I ultimately found the perfect pair and walked out happy! I was able to take my time and try on several pairs, not feeling rushed at all! This eye dr is initially overly friendly and fake-nice until you have an eye problem like I did from the trial contacts this eye dr gave me. She bit my head off in the open waiting room as my eye was oozing, not at all concerned about my condition and when a friend of mine spoke up for me on my behalf (as my friend had to drive me since I could not see) Dr Martinez, after accusing us of NOT knowing HIPPA laws, this dr proceeded to announce that "I was a 35 yr old female that needed to talk for myself" - completely insensitive & unprofessional. And she herself was not concerned about HIPPA blurting out my business to anyone within earshot. She is RUDE and will become low class as she is hot headed. read more

Always infuriated me because I needed time to focus and decide which lens strength was better. I always felt rushed and wondered if that had anything to do with my prescription always being wonky. Now we come to Dr. Martinez. She may be a fast talker, but she's patient. She explains things. Goes into detail what she's doing, what affect this has in determining your prescription and just all around informing you how your eyes work. She is a breather of fresh air. My grandmother had an amazing experience getting her eye exam with Dr. Lien. She was super nice, patient and her attitude was amazing. Dr. Lien was super informative and made sure we understood everything in the process. Don't waste your money! Had a existing pair of glasses I had them replace the lenses with new prescription lenses, they sent them off for the procedure, mind you they have been sent off before a couple of times by americas best, where I originally got them from. They always came back in great shape. When I got them back from this place they look like they been stepped on and all the nose pads and such were in dis repair. The girl there tried to hot glue them or something but they failed. Had trouble going back before warranty was up because I am very busy in work and could not get by during business hours and they are not open on weekends. I spent alot of money on these and didn't have time to keep going back for their negligence. Plus they got the invisible bifocals wrong but I couldn't even wear them because they were trashed. I did sign a paper stating that they weren't responsible for damage but at the time I had confidence they were going to be okay. When i did finally have time to go back it was out of warranty and was told basically I'm out of luck because I waited to long. read more

To start of walked in to exam room and noticed other people's records sitting by her desk big HIPPA violation social security numbers and other personal information exposed. No bed side manners didn't introduce herself and started of talking about how my employer offered the cheapest vision coverage and pretty much was selling VSP "the best" granted I already knew that because I had VSP in The past. Then she said I can get glasses but they were too expensive for me and she didn't think I really needed them, I had to tell her and remind her she didn't have to worry about my finances paying was not a problem!! This is the first time I have ever left an eye appointment so completely confident in the competency of the Doctor, and the accuracy of the prescription in hand. My mom was in town visiting me and wanted a second opinion regarding her eyes. She was previously advised that she needed to have eye surgery right away. I wasn't sure about the best eye care doctors in the area but knew I needed someone that would be honest with my mom and not push her in making a decision. I looked on the internet and saw Dr. Martinez had 4 1/2 review score. Called her and she didn't have an appointment available but told me to bring my mom she would squeeze her in! We went and Dr. Martinez and her staff really took care of my mom. They were very personable and making sure they did several eye test to see what was going on with her eyes! Although she discovered that my mom needed a stronger prescription, she didn't try to force a sale in her office! My mom left with such Peace about her eyes!!!!
