DO NOT BUY YOUR GLASSES HERE…read more Although the eye doctors associated with this particular Pearle Vision are excellent, I highly suggest you take your prescription and go elsewhere to purchase your actual glasses and/or contacts. I previously had purchased my glasses from this Pearle Vision so when I got my eyes examined I went over to the shop to purchases my glasses. For 2 pairs of glasses it was going to be $900. This was for one pair of no line bifocals and one pair of reader glasses. Oh but wait, there's more. I also wanted to change out the lenses in my Maui Jim prescription sunglasses to match my new prescription. $750 just for the lenses and use my current frames. I went ahead and ordered the Maui lenses but decided to shop around for glasses. I happened into Costco that day and did you know they have an eye glass area? I didn't until that day. I got one pair of no line bifocals and one pair of reading glasses for $312. So basically 1/3 of what I would have paid. They don't do the Maui lenses so I was stuck with Perle Vision. Two weeks after I order the Maui lenses I call and ask if they're ready, nope. A month goes by, I call again, are they in yet, nope. This was on May 15th. Every time I get in the car I think, I sure wish I had my sunglasses. Today, June 7th, I call again and the sunglasses are there and they tell me they've been there for over a month! What? They said they had called and left a voicemail on May 3rd and May 28th. No they certainly did not as I have had 2 voicemails on my phone since April 26th and neither was them. I also have their number in my contacts and have had no missed calls from them. So I go to get my glasses and I speak to the manager who is evidently the owner of that store. She's pretty much like, oh well. Then I ask for the name of the district manager and she says she's is the DM and there's no one above her. She ended up giving me $50 off so they only cost me $700 for lenses with a lot of inconvenience. That is the absolute last time they will receive any money from me, ever!

They always are extremely timely and make sure you are in great care while visiting them. I keep coming back as I trust my care to Dr. Steritz and since I have been wearing glasses for years I like the fact Eye Trends is not a Franchise or Chain Eyecare facility. I've come back a couple of time to have the frame's arms tightened, and they've never hesitated to help. Recently I needed help moving my lenses from a broken pair of glasses to the replacement pair. Not only did they help, the cleaned both my Rx lenses and my sunglass lenses, awesome! This location offers a wide selection of designed and budget frames. The prices are pretty nice and there's a look for just about everyone. Most lenses are filled on-site same day. There's an optometrist next door if you need an eye exam- not sure if Visionworks partners with this office but it's definitely nice to have them side-by-side. Price for lenses is extremely reasonable and most insurance plans are accepted. I'll keep coming back for the exemplary service!

My wife and I have both tried "MyEyeDr" since it switched ownership and it is NOT the same. I don't know why the old posts are still attached to the new business, because the two are very different. Dr. Bass' prescription was perfect. Eyes Nouveau had the frame she wanted and they came in 2 weeks. Trying MyEyeDr, my wife found they didn't have any frames she liked - she had to bring her glasses back three times because they weren't working for her (waiting 3-6 weeks each time). Her glasses still aren't right, but she gave up trying to get these guys to dial them in. And like someone else noted - the "technicians" don't know how to fit glasses to her head. The pair she's wearing weren't fitted. They were handed to her, by the door attendant (like Target, I guess) in a sack. Disappointed. Irritated. Sad over the loss of a GREAT optometrist and office. You want to give them a try, do so. At your own risk. If you're expecting an Eyes Nouveau experience - lower you expectations. A lot.
