I picked up my sunglasses but I got red marks on my nose beds after wearing them on a 30min car drive. This is from not having them adjusted properly or at all in my case. I don't have any knowledge about adjusting glasses and how they're supposed to feel when I first put them on. So when Jenny asked me how they felt at first I said I didn't know. No other questions about my glasses. I'm pretty sure she needs more training in adjusting glasses properly for customers. I didn't want to have to go all the way over there again just for an adjustment. I'm also pretty sure she didn't update my records because I've been getting automated calls to pick up my glasses for a week AFTER I picked up my glasses.

After returning them due to headaches it was the wrong prescription. Once returned from being corrected there were nicks on the inside of the frame and on one side of the lenses it was a bit up from what the other side was. When you would spray with the cleaner given to me it got in between the Lense and frame making it drip down my face before it dried in the lenses. After all I decided to get a refund, I paid 309.00 out of pocket yes, I agree with the 40.00 restocking fee charge but the other fees I paid for were not returned to me. Such as the 10.00 co pay, the 35.00 for the optomap, and 60.00 for the contact fit that is 105.00 that was kept by them. I have never heard of not getting refunded those fees restocking fee I understand that part. Very disappointed with the outcome. So after paying 309.00 out of my pocket I only get 164.00 I was excited to come here and it was upsetting. Then I was told I had to call my own insurance to tell them I had returned the glasses and so they can cancel the claim. I did and they were shocked to know that I the customer had to call them. I went into the office and found out the glasses were sitting in the office and the technician had not processed the prescription. The technician waited and called and lied about our glasses. I confronted the technician told I know she never put in the prescriptions. I spoke with the manager to let them know what the technician had done to me and my daughter. The manager said yes I believe you and we will talk with the technician. I asked the manager was the doctor aware of the situation and she said yes the doctor read my review on google. NOTHING FROM THE DOCTOR NOTHING FOR THIS OFFICE. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS YOUR CHANCES OF ACTUALITY RECEIVING YOUR GLASSES IS NOT GOOD. There were no other customers in the store at the time -- I was the only customer present, and there was only one associate working. As a past customer, I found this experience very disappointing and unprofessional. Due to the poor customer service I received, I would not purchase from or recommend this location to others. When will she be back? Monday. Ok, fine. I couldn't come back until Thursday so I again, called first. Is the GM in today? Nope, she only works at that location Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Well dang, I wish they would have told me that. So, getting more irritated and thinking "myeyedoctor" will no longer be my eye doctor, I emailed a customer service office that was offered on their webpage, told my story and was prepared to wait the 5-7 days stated as their possible wait time for a response. Lo and behold I was called back within a few hours! A super, super nice customer service rep (initials JM-D) was BEYOND helpful and courteous, I mean this is the person you want on your team. She asked if I could take them back and she would refund my credit card on her end and that's exactly what was done. When I went back to the office to drop off the contacts everyone was pleasant. My point in this epic review is, "myeyedoctor" is STILL my eye doctor! The customer service rep was AWESOME, I've never even met her and I love her. She made the whole thing right in short order. I called and asked if they could still take me, and the woman said they wouldn't take me if I was 10 minutes late so I rushed on the road and happened to get there on time. I then waited 40 minutes to be taken back, and the front desk lady apologized twice for them taking so long. I said that I was very frustrated because I busted my butt to get over here and told me I wouldn't be seen to then have my time wasted. The girl who took me back said sorry for the wait, and they "HAD" to take this walk in. Are you kidding me?! I said it was not okay and she didn't have anything to say except sorry. The doctor came in and had tested my eyesight by having me look at a reflection of letters that were posted on an LED screen. I was not keen on my eyes being tested by the quality of a mirror, and I really did not like how it was posted on a screen. We look at blue light and screens all day, we know it's bad for our eyes, yet my eyes are being tested via looking at blue light. Last, I didn't think the doctor cared about my eye condition. He just said to take these eye drops, and didn't educate me on any other treatments when I asked for more information and treatment options. (I know there are more treatment options because my previous eye doctor mentioned them to me). I won't be coming back here. It was a waste of my yearly exam from my insurance and I was not happy about paying that co pay with this horrible experience.

Anissa did the initial testing and explained the equipment and what she needed me to do in order to get accurate results. I have been going to Dr. Steritz for a few years and appreciate his knowledge for my eye care. He is thorough and explains the results making it easy to understand. I keep coming back as I trust my care to Dr. Steritz and since I have been wearing glasses for years I like the fact Eye Trends is not a Franchise or Chain Eyecare facility. Glasses, contacts, dry eye, cataract aftercare, they support my needs. Additionally, they are in my eye insurance network so all services and glasses are reasonably priced.
