I went in after having heard good things about Pearle from friends, and was looking forward to getting a new haircut from a new stylist. I was previously accustomed to seeing someone I wasn't always completely satisfied with, but who I had stuck with for over a year at a different salon. I have to say, this is how a salon/spa SHOULD be. The space is beautifully decorated, and had an upbeat energy about it. I went on a Wednesday in the afternoon, and they were fairly busy, though not overbooked. I was nervous that I didn't know the stylist I was going to see, and assumed she was chosen for me by the receptionist because the stylist was new and didn't have many clients. NOT the case. I saw Chanelle, and she was amaaaaaazing. I received a fantastic service, from a woman whose attention to detail is superb. She really took the time to get everything with my hair right, and I appreciated it so very much. It was relaxing, and I was very happy with the results. Overly happy, even. If you are used to seeing a stylist whose goal is to get you in and out as fast as possible, try Pearle, and see what you've been missing out on. Chanelle was super nice, and gave me the best cut and style I've had in a very long time. I was getting compliments within minutes of leaving. Definitely a great experience, and I will 100% be calling Chanelle my new stylist. :) read more

First off I'm going to give a shout out for Kate, she owns the business and she works full time with a wait for at least 6 weeks. But it would be worth it if it was 6 months!!! She knows her business!! She has done my hair since she had her license 15 years!!! I would never go to anyone else. The salon itself is beautiful inside. The building is all black, but once inside you will be greeted with a smile, offered a beverage and made to feel pretty special!! Reception is top notch and well trained. Now on to Tara... She is one of the estheticians and is honest with her clients. She does my eyelashes and is certified for extreme eyelashes She won't put them on if your lashes won't support them . My lashes always look natural and great every time!! Thanks Tara Next I go to Des for my nails. In response to "Leah M."..... I am extremely surprised by your dissatisfaction with Pearle Studios. I have lived all over the country and by far, this salon takes #1 position. Each stylist has certain guidelines they must meet not only to be hired, but to maintain their position. I don't know the owner personally, but have been told by many people that her and her staff's main priority is the client. I am sure if you went to anyone on her staff with your issue, they would do more than just resolve it. They strive to give the highest quality treatment possible. I am very picky with my hair and nails, as I'm sure most of us are, and this is the only salon I will go to. I have NEVER been disappointed in the 5 years that I have been going to the girls at Pearle Studios. I have had nothing short of VIP treatment each and every time I have stepped foot into that salon. I would definitely give them a call and give them an opportunity to prove to you just how great they are. A review like yours would absolutely devastate the Pearle team. read more

Well Lanae Morris is awesome. I went to her to have a color correction done which is a huge understatement. I had my hair done by a hairdresser out of the area and had requested blonde and brown and had provided photos of exactly what i wanted and ended up with fried grey, purple and maroon hair. Pearl Studios was recommended by a friend of mine and Lanae is nothing but professional and extremely confident in herself as a hairdresser. Seeing that my hair was so damaged i didn't think Lanae would be able to do much with my hair. I walked out of that Studio with exactly what i hoped my hair would look like including an awesome cut, along with great products to help my hair mend. The owner Kate also took great care of me and their booking system is awesome i love receiving a text message showing my appointment so i can add it to my calendar. I love this place! Everyone that works here is so friendly and outgoing. The salon itself is so trendy and fun!! The ladies there are very experienced and know their product knowledge, which is nice. I love that it offers hair, nails, skin and waxing all in one place. I get my hair done by Chanelle and she does a fabulous job, I always leave loving my hair! I recently had an appointment with Alana for a Brazilian wax and let me tell you, it was such a great experience compared to my other wax experience elsewhere, she uses a hard wax which is better for your skin and does not hurt near as much and she can get it done in only a couple strips, which is so great! She totally makes you feel comfortable and is a joy to talk to. I love this salon and would recommend it to everyone. read more

Kate has been doing my hair for over ten years. Every time I get my hair done I leave feeling amazing and beautiful! Every experience is wonderful. They expanded recently and now offer express manicures and pedicures while you are processing. Alana has been doing my waxing for over a year and does an amazing job! All of the people are friendly, happy, professional and energetic! I am so glad that I get pampered there! I would never go any where else! I love how creative Kate is. Her knowledge and creativity keep me coming back! She always fits me in when I forget to set an appointment. I appreciate all the little details that this salon provides! Just got my favorite haircut ever! A friend recommended Krista at Pearle Studios, and so I decided to make an appointment. Pearle had a very friendly receptionist at the front counter, who offered beverages to customers while they were waiting.Additionally, the reminder phone call and post-appointment check up were very helpful. Krista talked with me about exactly what I wanted. I showed her a couple styles that I really liked, but then told her to do whatever she thought would be best for my hair. It ended up being a great cut for my hair and features. So excited to have found such a great stylist in Reno! I will definitely continue to get my hair cut here, and am looking forward to having an appointment with Krista again! read more

So after calling close to 20 places this week trying to find someone who knew what to do with curly hair, and had an opening on a Saturday, I found Pearle. I am SOOO thankful. From the moment I walked in I felt better. The lady at the desk was super friendly and offered me a huge selection of drinks to pick from. I saw Kyle today and he made me feel so great. He made sure to talk me through everything we were doing and he knew exactly how to handle my curls. He also took the time to help teach me how to get the best out of my curls and recommend all kinds of products (some they didn't even have, so it wasn't about making a sale) to help me fix all the damage my hair has. I don't even know where to begin! ERICA is seriously an amazing hair stylist. My hair was orange and damaged from a previous attempt to go blonde. Erica came highly recommended so I consulted with her and she helped me figure out something we could do that wouldn't be too damaging but still close to what I wanted. She went above and beyond not only did she do an amazing job at color correcting my hair but she got me to the color I actually wanted and my hair feels healthier than ever. I am very nervous about letting people touch my hair, I've had some weird stuff done to my hair, but I read the reviews about this salon and figured I would give it a try. I booked an appointment with Emily who was great. Not only did she do a great job on a very dramatic hair cut (very long hair to short bob) but she is so knowledgable about hair and what she does. She even took the time to teach me how to curl my hair with a flat iron because I mentioned my struggle with it. This is a place which is fun, comfortable and very cool. Carleen is my hair stylist there and she is a firm believer in treating you like you are special, listening to what you want and making it happen. She will work with you to bring out what you want to do not impose her ideas. But if you don't have any ideas she is very good at sizing up what would work for you. Loni Jean Lafinier is the first stylist who understands my naturally curly hair. Pearle is such a find! Loni always takes excellent care of my hair!
