I brought my mother in for a full set of nail services, as I only intended to have her toenail polish changed while waiting in her. I was quoted a price of $12.00, which I felt was excessive, but I decided to proceed with the service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon sitting in the chair, I found the staff member to be unfriendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I requested a floral design on the big toe three times; however, she applied a plain polish and walked away without fulfilling my request for the flower design. I waited for 48 minutes with cold feet for her return, during which time I received no communication. I eventually approached the owner, Lee, who assured me that he would apply the floral design and proceeded to paint on a basic tone instead. I was taken aback by the lack of professionalism and care. The owner mentioned he would return to apply a sealant but never came back. By this time, my mother had completed her service, which exceeded one hour. He charged me $17, and when I expressed my assumption that the cost was $12, he explained that it was indeed $12, but since I requested a design (the flower on the toe), there was an additional charge of $5. I argued that the extra charge was unwarranted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner spoke to me dismissively, making me feel as though my concerns were silly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would like to know if you believe this service was worth $17, especially when I could have easily performed the task myself, achieving a far superior result. I asked for a long and narrow shape French tip with almond shape in the nude part and not what I got at all. They're long but not narrow at all and sat in the chair for over two hours which after 20 years of getting my nails done I've never once have had to sit for that long for a French set. On top of that she cut my cuticles a few times made me bleed and didn't acknowledge it and spoke in her language and ignored the pain she was enduring on me. After numerous times of asking her to please make more narrow and thinner a gentleman tried stepping in to make some what decent but with a new set and to have creasing on the powder is ridiculous for the amount of money that is charged. I don't even want to take a picture of my raggedy toes that I had done at this place. I got French style tips in gold and they couldn't even execute this basic design. The line is literally diagonal. I didn't notice with the lighting until I left and went somewhere else. I got short almond nails on my hands and I told the tech multiple times what was wrong between the tips going in different directions on different fingers and the gold line on the tip being inconsistent and just overall messy. I even apologized and said I wasn't trying to be mean. She filed it some more and it was just hair better but no attempt at fixing the gel polish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called and they said they can fix it, but I don't trust this nail salon to do that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Two different people doing my nails and both coming out horribly was enough for me. I would of given less than a one star if I could. I have my lashes done by Judy and I am a consistent and faithful client. Not one time did they bother to tell me that they were no longer going to be doing lashes and Judy has my number to reach out. Most lashers will not work over others work and here I am not able to get done for my online interview. My friend and I walked in about 2 hours before they close, to get manicures and pedicures for prom. When we walked in everyone seemed annoyed at us, and they were clearly talking about us, right in front of us. As we were getting our pedicures the lady doing my feet said that I had ingrown toenails, and I questioned it, but before I could say anything else she started removing them (WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF TEXAS) at the time I didn't know it was illegal. She made both of my toes bleed, and poured rubbing alcohol in it. Now it is the next day and my toes are swollen and yellow crust is forming. Also to add on to that the lava rocks that came with the massage were so hot they were leaving literal red marks on my legs. I've been here once before and remember having a good experience but I must say I was blown away today. They just remodeled and it looks absolutely divine. The new layout is very open and inviting. Very clean and organized. Several of the staff took time to either acknowledge or strike up conversation with me during my visit. It was clear that the staff here had formed relationships with several of the customers. One woman Skyped even her mom and let her say hi to the manicurist. Several guests (regulars) were greeted by name. 5 stars on customer service! Of course, what matters most...I got a gel manicure and it looks great! I have been going here on and off for years, they do great dip nails and ombré. The past few times I have gone though I've left with multiple cuts around my cuticles and under my nails from the orange buffer. My last experience wasn't great, the nail tech was new and when I explained what I wanted and then asked him to fix it he got upset, leaned back in his chair, covered his eyes and was like ughhhh! So he never fixed my nails on my right hand, but then when he did my left hand he did them the way I had asked. So I left with uneven ombré nails, and multiple cuts. I went back and had someone else fix them, but he could have easily fixed them right then. I don't like to have to go get them fixed because I feel awkward but now they look great, besides the cuts. read more

I think I might have found my new nail place. They were nice and professional. I love the way my nails turned out. The guy that did them is in the third seat on the first row near the register. He was gentle and made sure my nails were perfect. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he granted my wish. The lady that charged me also double checked to make sure I didn't leave with bad nails. I like to come here because they are good at doing nails. Where they are horrible is at making sure customers are handled in the order they have arrived and making sure customers with appointments are served first. I had an appointment today at 12:30 and arrived on time, advising them I did have an appointment. I am still waiting 45 minutes later. Went for my yearly pre-vacation pedicure with my daughter. We chose the Organic Cucumber pedicure because it included the paraffin wax. The treatment was ok but there was no paraffin wax. The worst part was the nail polish wasn't even brushed to the ends or sides of my big toe nails. Will never go again! The woman who did my nails didn't ask if I wanted my nails cut. I had to stop her from filing my nails to ask her to cut them. Once she cut and filed my nails they didn't look quite even but I thought it might just be my eyes playing a trick. She cut my cuticles very poorly. I had to point out a lot of areas for her to touch up. The paint job was ok. I have gel polish on my skin. Once she was finished I left. I realized in the car in daylight that my nails weren't even at all. A lot of them were slanted. The ones that were even weren't shaped properly. I went home and had to reshape my nail.
