(first photo is what my mom showed the nail tech, the rest were the results) My mom came here to get her nails done for her birthday. She brought in a reference photo for what she wanted design wise, and asked the nail tech if it was possible; otherwise she would get something simple instead. The woman reassured us she would be able to do so multiple times but did not show on her promises. Anytime my mom tried to tell her she prefers something a certain way the woman would give excuses and reassure her it would look fine. She showed my mom the glitter available and my mom said she would prefer a fine glitter. The nail tech claimed she couldn't do fine glitter. My mom said it was okay and she didn't need the glitter. Instead the nail tech puts on glitter ANYWAYS and when my mom told her she didn't want big glitter the nail tech said it would look fine when she was done and kept speaking to my mother like she was incapable of grasping the concept of small and large glitter. My mom let her continue trusting the process. The nail tech then added another glitter she never showed to my mom or asked for approval. Once she had finished that she asked my mom if she liked it and my mom said no because it still looked too big and she added glitter she didn't ask for. The nail tech began to get upset, repeatedly calling my mother "MAMACITA" for what I could only conclude was based off my mom looking Hispanic to this woman? (I honestly don't know and it came out of nowhere and she was saying it very mockingly). She offered to remove the glitter and my mom said she didn't mind but the nail tech insisted. She then started very roughly drilling holes into my mom's nails where she put the glitter. My mom eventually had to pull her hands away repeating it was hurting her. The nail tech rolled her eyes and told my mom to go wash her hands so she could finish and began to speak in her native language but in a very obviously mocking way to mimic my mom saying she didn't like the glitter. When my mom walked away the nail tech asked to see my nails because my mom used them as reference for the glitter size she wanted. She told me that the only reason I have that glitter in my nail is because my nails are "press ons" and she tossed my hand back at me. When my mom came back the nail tech instead of refilling the acrylic she dremeled off, started coating the tops with gel polish and curing them. After she was done my mom looked at her nails and asked the woman if she could possibly add more or fill it in more because it was horribly bumpy and had a rough edge on one. The nail tech got upset repeating "You don't like it?? You don't like it?!". At this point we were tired of being there and my mom just asked to pay so we could get out of there. This is what the nail tech deemed to be 60+ dollars worth of work. I would be EMBARRASSED to let someone leave my nail salon with nails like THIS. My mother is not one to be rude towards strangers because she herself has anxiety about speaking to people she doesn't know and I feel like this nail tech was extremely immature and rude. I didn't even mention yet that my mom had to wait almost 25 minutes after arriving on time for her appointment because the nail tech had to drive her kid somewhere ( we didn't mind, but the fact we were given attitude and treated so rudely after this baffles me.) DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE PLEASE. read more

Just left Palace Nails & Spa. My nails are uneven in length, not filed correctly, and there are bumps on them. I had a dip manicure. My finger got caught by the drill more than once and was made to bleed. There was a huge amount of excess glue and dip below my nails which made it feel like they were adhered to my fingers. I asked them to fix it. They're answer to this was to yank my fingers away from the nails, which was incredibly painful. I said, "wow! That hurts!" Then she continued to try to do it. I literally had to pull my hand away and tell her to stop. In addition to all this, the shop was not clean at all. The sink area was dirty with residue everywhere. The nail stations were covered in old polish. It was not a good experience at all. I will not be back. read more

I'm new to the area and trying to find a great manicurist for gel manicures. This will be one place I never return. I had my gel manicure yesterday and already knew it was going to be poorly done midway through the service. The gel isn't straight. There's areas missing gel. Some nails only have the center of the nail covered in top coat. They're already chipping as well. Highly disappointed. I kept gently trying to ask her to fix the sloppy lines and she wouldn't. We just had the best experience today. Kim took care of me and I had the whiskey pedicure. Anytime I can have bourbon, a hot stone massage and a fantastic pedicure, well sign me up! My pregnant wife had the milk and honey pedicure (her skin has never been softer) done by Tran who put a beautiful little flower on her big toes. And Amy did the coolest Ombré set of nails for her. This was my soon to be Mother's Day present to her and Palace did not disappoint. We will be back many times more and my daughter will be as well once she's old enough. read more

The customer service was decent. Everyone greeted us and smiled. Typically, there's an area in the back of the store for workers to relax, but this establishment didn't have that so there were 2 to 3 people that were watching TV in a corner and playing on their phones. In regards to the pedi, my friend and I got the deluxe for $30 and it was an ok pedicure (hot towels, stones and exfoliation treatment). Keep in mind, this does not come with a massage of the lower leg.They have a neat drink menu on back of the service menu so I ordered the Pina Colada. Don't order the Pina Colada if you go there. Not my normal nail place but stopped by because I was in the area, they had minimal but still good reviews, and I wanted a gel manicure. It has been over a month since my last manicure so my cuticles were pretty grown out but the lady who helped me (sorry I could barely understand her so I didn't get her name) went Edward Scissorhands on my hands. You can see from the photos she cut my cuticles back WAY too far and three of my fingers started bleeding immediately. She got out some serum to stop the bleeding and did apologize but the damage was already done. My fingers were burning and I told her that, so she told me to go wash my hands. I went into the bathroom and just ran my fingers under the water and they were still stinging and burning. When I pulled them out of the water to look at them I could tell that on three of my fingers the cuticles were completely gone and the trim she had done had left big chunks of cuticle in some places and nothing in others - hence the massive bleeders. I went back to her station and told her that she had cut me very deeply and I didn't want to try to put polish on my nails because I was very concerned at how bad my fingers hurt and were still bleeding. She continued to apologize which I appreciated, but didn't change the reality of the situation. A man appeared from the other side of the divider and said he could see how bad it was and I told him that I didn't want to go forward with the polish. He said ok and I did offer to pay for the manicure as I did have services performed and he said it was going to be $12. Uh seriously charge me for the whole manicure? At that point I didn't care because I wanted to get out of there and get to a pharmacy to get band aids, peroxide and anti-bacterial to try to take care of my damaged fingers. The lady who was doing the manicure only ran my card for $5, thank you! But now I'm left to wait a few weeks for my cuticles to grow back and hopefully not get infected before I can get another manicure -- in which case I will obviously avoid this place like the plague. I would say be cautious of this place! I would hate for this to happen to anyone else because this is incredibly painful. read more

I called to let them know so that I could get them repaired but was talked to very rudely and was hung up on twice! I decided not to go back. They work as a team to help make sure you have a great experience. My dip nails stay on longer than I've ever had them last. I appreciate how they pay attention to detail. When I had moved to the area I started going to a different place and my duo nails or acrylics would just fall right off and lift within the day. They tried telling me it was my fault and I had weird nails. Thankful I tried this place at my husband request because I joe longer have to make weekly trips to the nail place to get them fixed it corrected. My nails stay on and give me no troubles at all. Went here on my lunch break to get my nails redipped. There were 2 people getting their nails done and one person getting a pedicure. Let her know what I wanted and what was already on my nails. She wrapped them in foil and went to the girl she was working on already. Had me sitting there for 30 minutes without telling me there was a wait or anything. I started to take the stuff off my nails by myself since jo one else was going to do it or even communicate with me about any type of wait. She came back over snd asked if it came off. I told her no. She tried to rub it off with the cotton ball and it didn't come off either. Some did but not all. I told her I just wanted them cleaned up because I didnt know there was a 40 minute wait and I had to go back to work. It's been 15 minutes and one of my fingers are still bleeding and theres still a bunch of stuff on my nails. Worse $15 of my life spent for ugly uneven nails. I'm so disappointed. read more

Palace Nails used to be exclusively my nail salon, but I switched when my designer, Tina went on vacation for several months. Tina was amazing, truly. Some of her designs are my favorites to this day. But Tina's replacement was awful. Truly awful. The nails were hideously embarrassing. The manager does a great job with solar designs. He has a wonderful 3 color approach that looks like sand art. It is pricey but totally worth it. read more

Had to continuously ask for the nails to be corrected then when I went to pay they decided to add charges that I wasn't made aware would be extra. Then after offering to charge me the original price she charged my card for the higher amount. My friend with my also had the same if not worse experience...Will not be returning. read more

This place has really gone downhill. The quality varies greatly depending on who you get. They don't turn anyone away regardless of how busy they are. We've been here several times, and it may be 10 minutes or 2 hours before they get to you. If it's going to be a while, they'll repeatedly tell you it'll only be a minute. We sat for 45 minutes with our feet soaking before anyone asked us what type of pedicure we wanted. Then, just as she was about to start the pedicure, her last client decided to get a manicure, so we were left waiting once again. We left and will be finding another place to get our pedicures. read more

I am new to the area and was looking for a nail salon to get a pedicure. I chose this place because it was relatively close to where I live. I went about an hour after they had opened on a weekday and was able to sit right down to start my pedicure without any wait time. The staff offered me a drink and were extremely nice. I was very pleased with the overall quality of my pedicure and the price. I paid and walked outside to leave and noticed that my toes had rubbed together before the polish was completely dry and messed up my big toe. I walked back inside and told them about my clumsiness and they immediately let me sit back down to fix it. My nail technician fixed it and I sat to let it dry. When I went to leave somehow I managed to mess it up again! I was so embarrassed and frustrated with myself but the lady was so nice and fixed it again with a smile on her face. I had already paid but tried to give her a bigger tip as I left but she politely refused and said it was no problem. She seriously wouldn't let me tip her for my fat-toed clumsiness! So I thanked them profusely and snuck some extra money on to the front desk as I left. I will definitely be visiting them again in the future! read more

Worst Mani/Pedi that I have ever had!! The nail tech was in a hurry and I could tell just wanted to move on. She was also sick or having allergies and coughing/ sneezing/ snotting all over but not wearing a mask. Pedi lasted MAYBE 25 minutes. They had the water too hot, put a little cold water in but still unable to put feet in and was told to "just wait a minute and it would cool." Finally got my feet in, soaked about 2 mins, never had anything but hot water put in (no foot soak like described). Nail tech came and took both feet out and started to work. Trimmed the cuticles and cleaned up around, barely reshaped, didn't clean under the nails. Did minimal exfoliating. Put masque on both legs and then put sopping wet towels that were practically cold (she warmed them in the dryer for a couple of minutes since the warmer wasn't working??) on my legs and then within 2 minutes wiped it off and put oil on to rub my legs. Used "hot" ok...not so hot rock for about 2 minutes. Little massage and paint. Never offered a design, nothing. It was SO not relaxing and SO not worth $35. The mani was lacking also. Soak in hot water, ok. She didn't clean under the nails or reshape in any way. Slight massage for a couple of minutes. Buffed because she didn't want to paint them since "they just chip." I would not recommend this salon to anyone unless you want to waste money. I was there when it opened hoping to beat the crowd and get a great spa day for my birthday and it was nothing but stress and the total service Mani/Pedi.... took only 45 minutes. Sad. Not worth the $45 paid. Would barely say it was worth $25. read more
