Love villa nails and their staff. They're always kind and professional. Yet funny and witty. I'm glad I found this place a few months back and will stick to coming back
I have been going here since July(when we first moved to the area) Every experience has been good, until today. The work done was good but not at all what I asked for. I ALWAYS do a solid color but wanted something natural today and was willing to step out of my comfort zone- I showed the first photo and tried to 'trust the process'. Guess I'm going back to solid colors.
Do not recommend!! One of my nails broke off after 5 days. The design is not even, the tops of the nails were not straight, and the edges were rounded off rather than squared off. I asked for coffin, and these are barely narrowed in--they look more like square nails with rounded edges. When I asked the lady to shorten them, she dropped her hands down aggressively on the table, sighed, rolled her eyes, and tilted her head. If she is that inconvenienced by doing her job, then she shouldn't be doing it. This wasn't even my first design choice, but it was the only one that the lady could do! She told me that she "doesn't even know how to do that" to my first two design choices. This place clearly has a lack of experience and talent. I've been getting my nails done consistently for 12 years, and I've never experienced this much incompetence before. The pedicure was good, but that doesn't make up for how bad everything else was.
I FINALLY found a place close to my house that gets me, after trying so many other places. Tina had to get someone else to do my nails because the person I booked with decided not to show up for work so Julie came in to the rescue and understood the assignment! The staff is so nice and this place is so clean. I use to drive out to Hurst for my nails from Alvarado but now I don't have to just a short drive to Burleson.
I went there 2 days ago (Monday) I did NOT enjoy my visit at all. The lady I had was super rushing and was rough on my nails. They don't even look good and they are bugging me to where I want to take them off. She went passed my nails onto the cuticles and skin. I told the receptionist that took my money that it was the fastest service I have even gotten and not sure of that is a good thing or bad, she was like well it depends on who you get. You come there to relax and enjoy your service. I sure didn't. Was the worse yet. They are lucky I'm super nice and didn't say anything. I should have. Don't think I'll be going back sad to say.
03/28/19 Thursday 3:20pm. I am greeted promptly I pick out my color while she runs the water. She walks off to the back and I have no idea which chair I am supposed to go to. No one acknowledges me so I stand there waiting. Finally I spot my sheet next to a chair. So I go and sit down. My water is cold. The lady comes back and asks if i want Something to drink and she goes to get it. The gentlemen comes over and I ask him to please warm my water he does. I request that he clip my nails. He clips one with the little clippers you use for the cuticles not a true nail clipper and files them. Not what I requested. He seems to be a bit off his sequence. He does cuticles in 2nd foot and then goes back to 1st foot, as if he lost his place. The foot massage is no existent he just rubs the milk and honey on my legs. Spreading it but no massage just sort of a rub up and down my leg how disappointing! Last precisely 4 minutes I timed it. Next paraffin and hot towels. Nothing good or bad there. He applies and leaves for hot stones, which ended up leaving my ankle burned and angry red. I did tell him they were really hot! Lastly he applied more oil and lotion. Finally toward the end he somewhat massages my feet, my Achilles heal and my legs about 5 minutes per side. 50 minutes and 2 burns later. I will take Ms. Susie at famous nails she is older but she is serious in her craft! Lesson learned for $55 I will drive to excel in Crowley for a real pedicure. This is what happens when I am too tired to drive to Crowley. Save your time and money; skip this place. It is new but that is about all they have going for them!
I absolutely love going here! My favorite nail techs are Amy, Jamie, and Nancy! I love Henry for pedicures! No matter what, they pay attention to detail. If you want a design, go see Amy!! Show her what you want and she will work with you!
WARNING TO ALL.... GOING WITH WHAT THE DOCTOR JUST TOLD ME I COUD LOOSE 7 FINGERS POSSIBLE MORE BUT WHAT TECH DID TO ME! Owner and manager refuse to say it's more than a reaction to chemical... Ivy was pissed when I got there and took it out on me and it got worse and worse from her asking me, Why would you ask me was College I go to? To her telling me she refused to fix my finger nail shape at the back bc she purposely bubbled them up and away from cuticle bc it makes them stronger and "It keeps "YOU PEOPLE FROM COMING BACK IN FOR REPAIRS!" If that's not bad enough... I told her I've had my nails done a Villa in Ft Worth for over 2 years and this is the 3rd time to Burleson one, they do good and don't come off no matter how thin the back part! Plus, it already is so far away from cuticle that it's going to look like a huge speed bump in one week! She still told me no. WTH SO I TOLD HE I WAS THE CUSTOMER AND I SAID THAT'S WHAT I WOULD LIKE PLEASE OR ILL HAVE TO DO IT AT HOME WHEN I LEAVE AND IT WILL MESS THE TOP COAT LOOK UP! She got so pissed she started squeezing my fingers super hard and twisting them on purpose! Then come time to smooth the back on nails on the new hand she took the drill and angled it to hit my NAIL ITSELF AND I TRIED JERKING AND SHE WAS SQUEEZING FINGERS ... I would tell her THAT HURTS... It got worse and worse and I'm not a baby! I was so pissed at her my adrenaline must have kicked in and she told me she was done to wash... Ugh... Didn't finish didn't file underneath and my nails were stinging but I got up and thought you know what... That freaking hurt so bad I'm telling the manager after I wash... The soap hit one hand and I blacked out for a second with pain... Could hardly wash it off bc the water was burning both... When I finally got my breath and pulled nail up bc I wasn't about to brush I saw blood on every SINGLE NAIL!!! I don't mean a nick or two... People... MY ENTIRE FREAKING NAIL ON 7 FINGERS HAS BEEN SAWED COMPLETELY DOWN TO THE QUICK AND GONE!!! Cuticles are there but then the odd gap she left plus filling edges... I now am Bleeding and go to the sweet owner at front loudly yelling... Look what Ivy Did to me on purpose!!! I am bleeding and my nail has been completely cut away from the nail bed!!! She looked at ivy who was already pissed and telling me, "That's what you get for wanting me to file it smoother! I told you not to do it!" What???? I thru my bloody hand in her face and said so you purposely CUT MY NAIL AT THE BACK COMPLETELY OFF TO SHOW ME?" She said oh give me a break! If I do that you'd be on the floor crying right now!" As she made a cry face to me ALL IN FROMT OF THE OWNER AND MANAGER CAN HEAR TOO! oh my gosh long bad story short bc don't know how many letters I can use... I went to emergency clinic and the doctor comes in thinking it's going to be silly I'm assuming by saying, "Let's look at theses Cut cuticles!" Then she sees my hands and GASPS!!! Saying, "GOOD GRIEF!!!! You're nails have been severed and CUT OPEN! OH GOOD LORD DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF INFECTION YOU COULD GET? They don't ever have to clean that part of the file! Oh My God! You could not only get infected but loose fingers! How many are done this way???" She counts out loud... "1234567... 7!!! If not more good Gosh you good loose all of your fingers! This is unbelievable!" I'm panicking now!!!! But I know that's why I'm freaking out too!!! So that was two days ago!!! I send them all a photo up close too... And tell him I had to go to doctor and I'm freaking out... He replies back... in short... "Yes your fingers look red but we've seen that before several times and it's an allergic reaction and you need to take nails off right away and get antibiotic cream after you see the doctor"! I told him... you don't understand... I DID SEE THE DOCTOR AND SHE WAS EVEN FREAKING OUT! GAVE ME A SHOT, antibiotics, And told me do not hesitate one second to see regular doctor bc an infection could make me loose not just all nails but FINGERS OR WORSE! I'm so upset right now my stomach is quivering just typing this! Slowly too bc that's how bad they hurt still and it's been two days! Anyways he's refusing to fire her since that was her 1st offense and he said she warned me about filing the nail and having it lift before hand and he'd like to see proof of what the doctor said bc it looks like what he said! So my reply was... Heres my freaking proof... Copy of docs bill meds and Walgreens dated paperwork and you'll be seeing it in detail as soon as I tell the lawyer tomorrow! As on now... They still have her working there and I'm wondering if she's family and had been in an argument before I walked in as to why she was mad and the lady came be more than 6x to check on me! I don't care about that! Just don't want this happening to ANYONE ELSE! Ever! It's just been HORRIBLE AND SO SCARED! Check out photos too! Anyone need more detailed photos I HAVE THEM!
It was ok I guess. I got cut a few times which sucked but the result was good. The lady that did my nail files off some of it

The owner is extremely unfriendly. I don't think she said more than one word to me. She cut my finger bad and it still hurts 3 days later! She knew she did it and said nothing and kept trying to file it. Nails are all DIFFERENT lengths. read more
I've been coming since they opened up this past Fall and I haven't been disappointed yet. I think I get a new nail tech every time because I usually just walk in and they have all been great. I've never had to wait. They have a nice selection of colors no matter if your getting gel, polish, or dip. It's very pretty and relaxing inside. The fact that they offer wine is a big bonus for this busy mom. I've been very happy with their pedicures as well. It's an all around great place. I was nervous to try them because I had finally found a great place but this was so close to my house I thought giving them a chance wouldn't hurt and now I've never been back to my old place. read more

I would NOT recommend! Go elsewhere save your money! I went in to get a pedicure and dip ombré nails. The pedicure felt rushed but my toes nails came out looking good. Now let's talk about my nails, they are thick and uneven and I honestly don't think they look ombré at all. I mentioned it to the tech doing them and I feel like she just rushed to get them done. If y'all don't know how to do ombré nails just say that and don't make it an option. I will be going back to the nail salon I usually go to even though it's a drive. It's less expensive and better quality nails. Super disappointed, definitely not coming back! read more

Friday I had my nails done by Tuesday they were all cracked. My cousin went with me and had her nails done and now they are all infected. Went in today for them to redo my nails and the lady was horrible! She cut my nail beds up and literally clipped a piece of skin off. I will never be back and I urge others not to go. read more

This was my first time going there, I only went due to other nail salon having such a long wait. I walk in having high hopes due to it being such a nice looking place. They get me in as soon as I walk in the nail tech proceeds to do my nails (acrylic set) then when we get to part where she files down my real nail and she's gets my skin with the file not once but twice. I know as soon as I felt it I was bleeding so I look at my finger and I'm definitely bleeding which I'm sure she noticed but she didn't say one thing. I will not be returning. I get my nails done all the time and not once has this happened! read more

Hello Jamie, sorry to hear about your daughter.…

I came with my sister to get our nails done. I honestly had just had them done and was coming to spend quality time with her. We walked in together were told to choose our colors and were seated. A technician quickly began working on my sister. I didn't have a problem waiting for an available technician until I noticed a lady and her daughter who came in about 5 minutes after us was quickly seated for appeared to be a pedicure. And her daughter was given a bowl to soak her hands. I'm waiting however. My sister asked the receptionist why no one started on me and explained we wanted to do our services together. The receptionist lied and said no one was available and my sister points out that the lady that came in after us was being serviced. There receptionist then states "he doesn't do hands", when someone opens up that does hands you will be next. Now I could have sworn the man had just finished a mani before he went to her but I just nodded and thanked her for her explanation. Mind you no apology or concern for time was made. Luckily instincts kicked in and when another tech was available I politely explained that I would pass because I didn't want to hold up my sister. Glad I did because about 2 mins later, I look over at the man that doesn't do hands and he he doing a manicure for the lady! It's hilarious how blatantly we were lied to. My sister wanted to say something so badly but I told her not to. The receptionist came over to us later and continued her lies and stated "I was told he didn't do hands, had I known I would have had him do your nails". I just nodded and told her thank you. No need to explain, I get it. You didn't care about my business. Lol. read more
