I was charged extra just to have my acrylic nails shaped, which is absolutely ridiculous. If I'm paying for a full set of acrylic nails, shaping the nails should already be part of the service--not an additional charge. I've never been to a salon where I was charged extra simply to shape the nails I was already getting done. On top of that, the quality was not worth what I paid. The underside of the nails on one hand was left extremely chunky and uneven, which made the finished set look poorly done. Between the unexpected upcharge and the quality of the work, I left feeling like I had been taken advantage of. There are plenty of nail salons that provide better service without nickel-and-diming their customers for basic parts of the service. I would not recommend this place and will never be returning.

The male owner is wonderful--he is skilled, attentive, and consistently does excellent work. When he does my nails, they are shaped properly, comfortable, and durable. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for two other technicians who work there. Both women appear to have very limited understanding of English and rely on the owner to translate. This became a serious problem during my appointments. When I visibly winced from pain, they would smile and nod rather than stop or adjust what they were doing. Despite obvious discomfort and repeated attempts on my part to communicate--both verbally and through clear hand gestures--they continued working incorrectly. My nails were visibly crooked, yet they seemed unable or unwilling to recognize the problem. Even after I demonstrated what was wrong, they repeatedly filed the short sides of my nails, making them even more uneven. I had to stop them over and over again, which made the experience stressful and frustrating. During my last visit, I was again assigned one of these two technicians. Despite me clearly explaining that the owner never files the top of my nails with the drill, that I did not want that done, and that it affects how well my dip nails hold up, she continued to do it anyway. Either she did not understand or she did not remember--yet she would not acknowledge either possibility. I eventually had to physically pull my hand away when she came at my nails again with the drill on the top surface. I later had to file my own nails just to get the ends straight across. At that point, I decided I would never allow either of those two technicians to work on my nails again and specifically booked my next appointment with the owner. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Just two weeks after that last appointment, my middle and ring (third) fingernails on my right hand completely popped off--and took layers of my natural nail with them. I genuinely want to support this salon because the owner does excellent work. However, the inconsistency in skill level, inability to communicate, and disregard for client comfort by other staff members is a serious issue. Until that is addressed, I cannot confidently recommend allowing anyone other than the owner to perform services here.

It's always clean and neat and the service here is amazing. You are greeted at the door by the two young ladies who are always in a great mood and super smiling and happy all the time. We were religiously schedule every two weeks with the same nail tech all the time. There have been times where our nail techs are out and we have other people that can work on our feet. That are just as amazing as our normal techs. Everyone who is around there Mexico welcome and not just like a place where we come get our feet done but more like FAMILY. We normally talk about our days our week or our plans with our family and trips and what not when we're with our techs. They also provide you with a free drink while you're getting your services done and each person makes you feel welcome and personable. I would just like to say thank you all for the amazing time when I come not only do I feel relaxed, but I feel like a small getaway from and every day chaotic life. Before, you would have to sign in at the Clipboard. A petite Vitnamese woman, who spoke hardly any English, did my Pedicure. She rocked a beautiful Green Christmas Pedicure. She was so nice, she gave me a nice Leg Massage and Foot Massage. I was totally relaxed and she noticed. Lol I decided to get Christmas Colors of Red and White on my Toe Nails. When I told the Nail Tech what I wanted, she seemed confused but she got it right. I was pleased with the result. They also have nice Christmas Decor. See my Pictures. I noticed, when I was heading out, the Kiosk was ready for me to check out. That was a nice gesture. I also got clarification on the Stamp Card. As my nail tech started on the gel base coat, I actually had to ask, did you already do the manicure and cuticles, etc., because I had dry skin and misshapen nails with jagged edges. She seemed surprised that I asked, but then fixed things, to some extent. The color was fine, and the massage was the usual 30-second massage most places give you with a gel manicure. Overall, worst gel manicure I've received in a long, long time. The gel pedicure was much better than the manicure, though not good enough to make me return to this nail salon. It was pretty empty inside--lots of chairs, but not a lot of clients. It's got an elegant appearance, though. On a positive note, they were able to take me on short notice.
