I came here on the recommendation of others, and honestly, I regret it. 77 nail bar was popping, and it was full on a Saturday. It was also the lunar new year. They decorated and all wore their beautiful traditional attire. It made the atmosphere extra nice. It was humid inside, but I quickly got over it and felt better after removing my sweater. I spent a long time picking my nail colors. Options galore! I chose the Pina colada manicure and the blue lagoon pedicure. With the little flower design on my thumb, it totaled $87 (not including tips). No one offered drinks to us, so I had to ask. I went with white wine, and my sister in law did the green tea with aloe. My wine tasted old, but her green tea was good. My nail technician did not share her name. My experience was not great. The milk and honey soak for my manicure never occurred. Only received the parafin wax. And nothing smelled like a pina colada, so the name is weird. My blue lagoon pedicure was basic. The only difference was blue coloring in the water and an exfoliant used. I suggest saving $17 (the difference between mimosa and blue lagoon pedicure) and just get the mimosa pedicure. I noticed some missed spots on my nails and areas where the layers were not good. When I asked her to fix it, she fixed two of the three, and they didn't look great. Please see my close-up nail pictures. Lee did my sister in law's nails, and they were fantastic. He was funny and did a highly detailed, clean job with her nails. If you come here, ask for him. Maybe I just had a person's one-off day, but I'm not sure I will go back here. If I do, I'll make sure to request Lee. Overall, it was a nice atmosphere and good massage chairs, but the total bill was $200 for two people and just not worth the high price based on the end product, plus not receiving the full service I requested. read more

Went in for a fill after a manicure I got 1 week ago. (Pookie, who did my pedicure was great) Apparently you have to ask for a cuticle trim on acrylics which is why I had to return for a fill because my cuticles were not done on my $55 manicure. They wanted me to pay $45 for a fill. The initial manicure only took 15 minutes and I had to do more filing at home. My technician did not seem happy with her job and rushed my service. When I questioned the pricing and services, the technician was condescending and rude despite me being respectful towards her. Non transparent pricing and costs are too high. I will not be returning and my friend who referred me will follow me. read more

The place looked nice so I was excited to get my nails done here. I showed my tech a photo of what I wanted (the first photo) and I didn't receive what I asked for. It was $200 for the tech to do what he wanted, not what I wanted. The only change I asked for was for the nails to be more rounded. I also asked for the tips to be black as I recently lost a family member. My tech told me "white looks better". They're my nails? I agreed because it was already an extremely rough day for me and I just waned my birthday nails to be cute so I could have something to make me feel a bit better. He did the stars in silver. And once I realized I spoke up and asked for help. My tech did not speak very much English, obviously not an issue. When the manager came over he got upset at me and claimed the photo didn't look gold it looked "more silver" which is something that should've been clarified if there was any confusion. The manager said to me "why didn't you speak up?" Which was shocking for sure considering that is what I was doing by talking to him. I told the manager "who would I have spoken to?" And then I began to tell him how I was already having a rough time because my cousin had just passed and it was my birthday the next day so I just wanted what I asked for. He interrupted me and got even more upset. I ended up having to be the problem solver and said "why don't we just add the gold dots like in the photo and move on?" Because he hadn't even done the gold dots and he wasn't adding the colorful gems like the photo has. The manager agreed and we carried forward with my service. The gold dots are quite big in my opinion if I just wanted to trust my tech and his vision. Well as you can see on my pinky he still didn't want to add the colorful gems. They're birthday nails. I'm grieving. I want what I asked for? So I spoke up and told him I wanted color, once again for a 3rd time begging for the photo I showed him. Now I will say he was extremely kind as a tech, he was trying his best I think? But I just wanted what I asked for. I'm not sure why he wanted to do what he thought would look good not what I was the client asked for. I do think the managers behavior was rude and unacceptable. There was no need to interrupt me and tell me to calm down. (I was not angry by the way, just trying not to cry) I tried to be nice and just carry on. But $200 for these nails is absurd and honestly I'm heartbroken. It's been a rough week and this is just unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon if the management treats miscommunication like this. The tech himself even seemed anxious and nervous. It's not his fault that he needed a translator. The management needs learn how to treat customers. These are not what I asked for. read more

This was a salon I enjoyed going to but feels like a bait and switch. The pricing is ever changing and inconsistent. I feel like a fill in should never cost more than a full set. This time I was asked why I didn't come for my current set and asked how much I paid. I foolishly told them and Lo and behold, my FILL was $5 more. This was my second time(3/20/25) being serviced and I was truly disappointed. As a family we spent $400 dollars and I felt like the customer service was missing. The receptionist at the front desk with highlights she was very welcoming and nice. The water for my pedicure was lukewarm so I asked if I could have hot water. I asked twice because it turned off quickly. Linda was the woman who did my pedicure and she never asked if the water was better. She didn't interact me whatsoever . I picked a color and in the regular polish. Let her know I loved the color but that it looked thin. I asked her if she felt it would show up because of the consistency. She shrugged and said after three coats. I said do you have something similar but thicker. She brought me a color that was totally different. She does my color and I'm trying to confident with the application. But she finishes and there is bubbles all throughout. I mean it looks like I hand painted my nails, not like they been professionally done. So I tell her the application doesn't look smooth and she's looking at me confused. But it clearly looks bad. So she takes it off, and I go find another color. The nice receptionist offers her help and points out another color almost identical less than a minute. She repaints it and I was asking if she'd even out my pink toe because it was slanted. Linda would say okay but then ignore me. So my big toes were both uneven. I came in as a walk in , I first arrived at 1pm, they told me just give them 30 min so i was prepared to wait . They write my name down and tell me to come back at 1:30pm. I come back at 1:30 and they sit me down , I'm sitting there for 15 min and nobody says anything to me. one lady is eating at the front . I am sitting there for another 15 min when I am told someone is finishing up for me. he then begins to work on me and the lady that he just finished had said something about her nails. he gets up without saying anything to me and then proceeds to work on her nails again. at this point it is now 30 min past my appointment that was set. I've tried several nail salons in the Benbrook area and I'd say this one is probably my favorite as far as quality of service! I had Dustin as my nail tech and I was a little nervous because generally I don't love getting my nails done by men, personally I just think they aren't as detail oriented as some female techs, however, he did an excellent job on my nails. The only thing that wasn't 'great' was that he didn't say a single word to me the entire time, other than to tell me to wash my hands. For me this wasn't a huge deal as I don't mind the silence but it definitely could have made the experience better had he made some kind of conversation at any point. After my full set I went for a pedicure. I don't know the name of the woman who did my pedicure but she was very sweet and did a good job. The polish is done well and my heels finally feel soft. She did cut my cuticle on one of my toes and a couple nails are cut at an angle but overall she did a good job. The salon is pretty nice inside and they do offer an extensive list of alcoholic beverages. I wasn't asked if I wanted anything until after my fingers were done but nonetheless, it was a comfortable and nice environment. Based on the quality of my manicure alone I'll definitely be back for a fill with Dustin. He did a great job and I have absolutely no complaints on the shape, color, etc. One thing I will note is the services are quite expensive compared to other salons in the area. I think I paid $120 for one of their basic pedicures and a full set. However, I believe you pay for what you get and I'd rather spend the extra to get it done right the first time! read more

On Match 20 I went in and have my nail done. I got the dip treatment and on March 29 I called to let them know that one of my nail from the dipping had crack. Okay they fixed it but couldn't find the exact color so now I wake up with a dark color on my nail. They stated that it was the same color. Not true! Then I get up this morning March 30 and another one of my nail has the dipping powder missing or cracked off. Now I don't trust the service there. I got to find another place to go to in order to get my nails done. I just threw away money for nothing. read more

I was looking forward to getting my nails done at 77 Nail Bar. I walked into the salon with a happy spirit but left feeling like a made a poor choice. I normally go to a different salon and always receive excellent service; I wasn't able to get in and I needed my nails done. At any rate, the woman who did my pedicure did a great job--she paid attention to detail and was polite. When I switched to have my nails done, the guy assigned to me was rude. I mean rude, rude. It was uncomfortably visible that he was unhappy with "having" to do my nails. I'm not sure why. And can only assume a couple of reasons why he'd be reluctant to working with me. It's too bad because he does seem to be skilled. For the most part my nails were neat and I guess one might say he got the job done but he definitely missed the mark on making guests feel comfortable. So on the other hand, did he actually execute the job of a nail salon that is supposed to be a place of relaxation? My tech was Tina (same name as me lol) and she delivered 10/10 every time. Do you ever get your nails done and come home eventually find 1-2 flaws that are not too noticeable but still bother you? That's my biggest pet peeve when it comes to getting my nails done but the past 2 times I came here I never found any flaws. Also price is reasonable and almost cheaper than other places I've been to. I am 101% coming back as a regular. Everyone in the salon is super nice and friendly, customer service is also 10/10. I've been here three times, the first two times i lovedddd my nails. the nail techs did amazing on making sure i got exactly what i wanted, they were careful and precise, and my nails were so amazing. but this last time i went wasn't as great. the nail tech seemed in a hurry and definitely rushed on my nails, she cut into my cuticles on three nails, she was very obviously annoyed when i was picky with the color. i tried to just "trust the process" but in the end my nails are uneven, square (when i asked for coffin), and messy. i got acrylic powder, and it's now on the underside of multiple nails. the color on my nails is see through. i'm just not very happy with them and it's disappointing, especially when i paid $90 for them. read more
