Came in for gel pedicure and manicure for myself. $75 for tropical gel pedicure was very reasonable. But $40 for this lackluster "manicure" w/massage is just ridiculous. My outrage is from them charging extra for my 6yo rainbow colors. I was told kids prices are only for regular polish. None of this was disclosed and to make matters worse, her manicure was soo much because it included a 15 second on one arm because her other arm is in a cast broken. I only had pedis here before. I would NOT RECOMMEND any hand services. Please go somewhere else! The gel polish doesn't cure and there is no attention to detail. read more

If you want to waste your time come here. Called to confirm availability, the lady says okay we're available. Come in literally 7 minutes later. She tells me they're preparing my station. I got to the restroom and see that they're barely practicing social distance. So I request a chair away from others. I'm waiting 10 minutes or so only for them to tell me it'll now be over 30+ minutes because they're busy. When two other caucasian ppl came walked in AFTER ME, no appointments or anything and now they're seated.... Safe to say I left and will not be back again! Anyone mad because I'm trying to protect myself and not be smushed like sardines is not anywhere I want to spend my money. read more

I am so obsessed with the nails I got! I've been to places that straight out refuse to do black matte hahaha and they even did this amazing design!! I'm so so glad I went here. I was serviced by Amy who did my manicure (amazing, relaxing, wonderful) than Emily did my pedicure I chose the milk & honey as it was highly recommended due to the summer months coming! Emily was fantastic, (just enough force, very attention to detail, excellent) as a cosmetologist I naturally keep my eyes open for numerous reason especially if pedicurist is being rough on my feet. My eyes were closed during the entire service and I have felt relaxed in a very long time..... The nail salon is clean and highly up to standards per EPA, the actions they took upon me entering in their establishment is very reassuring! I will be returning, even when they became busy while I was there they did not rush my service! I've been going here for a little over a year, and it's progressively gone down hill in service. Today was the final straw for me, unfortunately. Needed basic pedicure and manicure: was sat in chair and water was painfully hot, asked for cooler and jeans ended up soaked due to the sprayer going out of control when she tried to cool it down. Ok, no biggie. But after the water was still too hot and asking for cooler, she started to grumble. The service was very hasty after asking not to be scalded, which resulted in sloppy painting and unfinished/not filed cuts. I'm not one to be too picky, but if I'm paying for a service, I should be able to ask for decent temp water without the rest of my trip resulting in carelessness or revenge. read more

Came here to get a mani pedi for an elderly woman with dementia, staff was polite but the girl nicked her toes bad enough she bled till we drove home and by then her manicure was ruined. While I get you need to be careful when getting your nails done they could have at least let her nails dry a little longer than 4 minutes before having her get up i asked the lady if it had been enough time she just kind of nodded her head. read more

During my brief visit to Fort Worth, for my birthday, my brother took me to get a pedicure of 11/18/16. I was reluctant at first b/c I am extremely picky when it comes to nail salons. Particularly b/c I have gone to quite a few places in the past that either did a poor job, messed up my nails or just not good salons. My brother convinced me that this place was really great and after reading the reviews from other Yelpers, I decided to go ahead and check the place out. I am glad I did! They did a great job! Not to mention the shop was set up nicely. Great chairs, lots of polish colors to choose from, I love that the staff looked professional, they were very sanitary at their stations, and the cherry on top, they had, in addition to water, sodas, and wine, plain and strawberry frozen margaritas! Yummy! So this place is definitely in my to go spots next time I visit Fort Worth! I will have to get a manicure as well next time! read more

Absolutely horrible! I read reviews online and thought I would give them a try. The first time I went I told them exactly how I wanted them. Brushed on dip powder. As they are doing my nails she proceeds to dip them. I told her I wanted the brushed on as that is what I like. She says ok and continues to dip. I stopped her and told her once again how I want it. She then starts teling me how uch better it is this way and talks me into it. Looking back now I know it is because it was easier so she didnt have to start over. I let her do them and the next time made my appointment for another person. When I went this time even after reading the reviews about Lee, my nails were horrible. They looked like a toddler did them. Once I got out into the light they had so many waves and ridges in them I was actually embarrassed of them. I then called and spoke to the manager, Ann. I told her I wanted them taken off and a refund. She refused and said they dont do refunds. She did however offer for me to come in and she would take them off and do a whole new set. Well when I get there for this to happen turns out she is only willing to grind them down and go over the top of them. At this point I just wanted to be done so I agree to it. She did a pretty good job and they went from a -2 to a 6 so much better. She did let me know I oculd schedule with her in the evenings and she ould be able to do them. I called 6 days ahead of time to schedule with her. When I called, they talked to her and she told them what day she would be available, so I made the appointment. I called two days before the appointment to see if I could come in a day earlier and was informed that she will not be there this week. I asked if anyone was going to call me then the lady on the phone asked for my number. Well now is too late. I guess they were just going to wait until I got there to stick me with someone else. Let's just say the customer service there is absolutely horrible. I have been to my share of salons before, and this is by far the worst ever. DO not waste your money. Also, my nails didn't even last three weeks without breaking or popping off. read more

Ask for Jenny! You won't be disappointed. I no longer live in the area and I really miss her doing my nails. She does the powder dip to perfection and they last longer than anywhere else I've gone. They don't chip and my hair never gets caught at the top of my nails. I've recommended her to 2 women and they still will only go to her now. The place as a whole is great also. I have been coming to this Nail salon for years. Tje only reason I stopped coming as frequently is because I moved away. My mom still comes here and she loves it. I now moved to downtown and don't come here unless it's to accompany my Mom. The front desk greeting is always nice but not over the top. They still do a great job even though sometimes they don't have as many people staffed. They do use the disponible liners in the pedicure tubs and their bathrooms are super clean. I was unable to find any massage or reflexology services during my visit today on their menu. They also now use the point system where you input your phone number at checkout, that just started last week I was told my moms pedicure looks fantastic, done by Natalie. Was on my way to a different salon when I drove past here. After checking Yelp I decided to stop and I am so glad I did! They were very busy because it was 11:00 on a Saturday. I was a walk in but was helped almost immediately. The shop is very clean and inviting. Everyone wears name tags and there isn't all the crazy salon clutter on the counters. Just chairs and they pull out stuff as they need it. I did just the deluxe pedicure but Amy massaged me for what seemed like forever! Not once did I feel rushed because I was a walk in at a busy time. I did the SNS powder for my hands and LOVE THE COLOR I picked. Amy advise I do false tips on just a few of my nails so they would all be the same length. 4 stars because I think she nicked my toe because it stung the whole time and there's a little blood. But it's totally fine because the experience was wonderful. Would highly recommend! read more

Mom had Mylynn and she got rid of her ingrown toenails. Mylynn is funny, too! Very nice and sweet. I had Tina. Tina told me all about her Mac makeup. She was super sweet. She did a great job massaging my legs and getting the dead skin off! 5 stars for each of these ladies! The ambiance here is great, too. It's a beautiful gray and white with a very modern flair. Quiet and relaxing. The two check in ladies spoke great English and were very nice. Bathroom very nice, big, and clean. The price was great too. $25 each for an hour long pedicure. Pretty disappointed with my dip nails! I picked out a pretty sparkly white and somehow ended up with a nude. I felt too flustered to say anything. I'm not sure why anyone would pay so much for nude nails. The only reason I've given two stars is because the person that did my pedicure was great. I wish I could give Fancy Nails 6 stars because it is that amazing of a salon. High quality service, friendly staff and most importantly they have been recognized for being the cleanest and most sanitary salon in Fort Worth. The salon is always spotless and well lit, plus the tools they use always come out of a sealed bag so you know they are sanitary. The staff are all SO SO nice and accommodating. You're always greeted when you walk in and promptly offered a drink. I've missed an appointment before and they were so understanding and were able to fit me in later the same day. The environment is so welcoming: they really treat everyone like a close friend. They are very reasonably priced and ALWAYS do an amazing job. At Fancy Nails I've gotten a classic pedicure, had a full set of acrylic nails put on, filled and taken off, and now I go every two weeks for a gel manicure with Moon (she is SO AMAZING). Every time, no matter the service, I have been happy with the quality. They work carefully and take the time to make sure it looks good (like with acrylic nails they'll use a paintbrush with polish remover to make sure the edges are perfect). I will say they can get really busy on the weekends so it may be wise to call and schedule an appointment with the incredibly sweet receptionist! read more

I went back in to get my first nail job from here fixed and when the lady was removing the dip powder, her machine was on too high and she knicked me to the point of bleeding 3 times! Can't say enough good things about this place. Not only is their work impeccable, they are so compassionate. My grandmother got a little overheated at the salon from a long day out and about and they fanned her, immediately brought sugar and a Coke to help her blood sugar. She was very embarrassed, but the lady went above and beyond to tell her how her own grandmother had the same thing happen, putting her at ease. They did not have to do anything, but rushed to make her comfortable. They even said they'd redo her nails at no extra charge since she had to leave abruptly. Also, I never do gel because it peels off in a few days, but I did here and I'm two weeks strong. Great work! read more

I called before I went in and the lady who answered the phone told me that it'll be $15 for a mani and no cost to take off my old gel nails. When I got there, my manicurist told me that it'll cost me $5 to take off my gel nails. She said that there's no charge to take off gel nails if I had my gel nails done at their place. The manicurist sitting next to us said that there's no charge to take off gel nails. Umm.. okay, so what is it?! She ended up charging me only for the mani but the price discrepancy made me not want to come back. I felt like she rushed through my mani. My nails were painted poorly with the some sides left unpainted and the paint smeared to the top. She also cut me twice. Never coming back. read more

I dont get my nails done alot but when I do its because I feel the need to have a special day and also....well because I can. I hate being treated like I dont belong when I come in and I get looks as if I shouldnt be there. On another note,if I want my nails a certain color whether they look good or not its my choice, my nails. Dont tell me what I want or need just to upsell me. Horrible service on that part. Today was my third visit to Fancy Nails. A coworker recommended I try Fancy Nails because of their customer service, cleanliness, and talent with nails. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail spot... I initially got a full set from a different salon and decided not to go back, so I gave Fancy Nails a try! First visit I walked in to get a fill. The waiting area is nice and I was offered a drink. They have a ton of colors to choose from... powder, gel, polish! There's a separate area for pedicures. Tammy was friendly and professional. Since my first initial visit, I've been back to see Tammy twice for fills. I get so many compliments on my nails :) Today I tried sns powder instead of doing an acrylic fill. No tips as my natural nails are long and strong (I thank Tammy for taking care of them). I'll definitely recommend Fancy Nails to people and will be returning!! read more
