Everyone here is super nice and they seem to have a lot of regulars and knew just about everyone that walked in. I'm in Ft Worth visiting family and called 5 nail salons in the area and ask if they did builder gel since I needed a refill. Ace is the first ones that said they did and it wasn't busy if I wanted to go in at that time. When I walked in I let them know I had called and wanted a builder gel refill. They had me sit down and started on my nails. The nail tech took out the acrylic powder with the liquid and the other nail tech said you want gel right and I said yes builder gel (which I've gotten many times before and know how it works). My tech started applying the acrylic and I asked again, this is builder gel right to which she looked me directly in the eye and said yes. I already knew it wasn't and she still confirmed it was to my face. I let her continue as I'm not THAT picky and didn't want to cause a scene. While my nails turned out ok I'm extremely disappointed that I was told multiple times they did builder gel and what she was applying was builder gel when it in fact was not. It was a layer of acrylic with gel polish. read more

Had a good experience here with my pedicure. The sign on the door said No Mask No Service which I really appreciated. I took a risk what with Covid but my in grown toenails were killing me and when I do them I literally end up with open wounds. It was clean, the chairs on either side of me were empty. The lady was nice and knew what she was doing. Got my toes done without any blood or real pain. The polish job was good and the pricing was fair on the pedicure though 15 bucks additional for gel was too much and I passed on that. They didn't rush, they paid attention when I said I want my nails as short as possible and afterward just let me pay I my own time ok once my nails were dry and they didn't get pissy when I paid by card (cash tip though). read more

So I told her I'd meet her there and try it out. I am SO glad I did!!!! When I called to make the appt., the gentleman was very kind and helpful. When I got there, I was greeted immediately by multiple people who were all so sweet. I showed the tech a photo of what I wanted and she ACED It! I'm very very picky with my nails, I admit it. She was SO good at what she does. I will 1,000% be going there/to her from now on. It was also a nice, quaint facility. The ONLY change I'd recommend is for them to play something different on their 2 tv's. One had 80's rock music videos () and the other was sports. Nail salons are mainly women so they should play maybe Lifetime or Hallmark movies on one and HGTV on the other, or something like that. Otherwise, awesome experience!! read more

This nail shop is hard for me to figure out, it feels dismissive, arrogant, friendly, rushed in, and the service feels rushed, which means the customer (me) ain't getting the service that is requested, and they expect to be paid for. Actually, it all depends on the operator, of how the good the care and service turns out. I see regular customers that appear happy, that's good. The owners, especially the husband is where arrogant comes in. I used to have Angle as my regular operator about a year ago, one time she messed up really bad, although she was great, previously, a bad moment was ok. she's no longer there, so hit and miss service at best. April 13th, I went in for a manicure and fill, the male owner, said "no manicure, just fill right"? No, I replied, I want a manicure. The male owner being the operator that performed the service that day. In between answering the phone he proceeded with the fill, I asked when the manicure was going to happen, he said after the fill. Now he's talking Vietnamese with his wife, which felt like it was about the manicure. " I HATE THAT!!!! Okay, I said. He brings a very tiny bowl of warm water for me to soak my fingers, which went cold very fast. There was no solution, Nothing! He started clipping dry skin, from my fingers, I asked about the full manicure, he said I wouldn't be charged, for a manicure, that all I needed was oil on my cuticles, he put oil on them and told me to rub the oil into my cuticles. UH!! He decided what I was to have, and what was best for me. I even did his work by rubbing the oil into my own cuticles. For at least on and off for five years, I've tried to give this establishment a go. After a few good interactions, I thought maybe things would be better, especially since I don't do my nails on an average of six times a year. But, off the rails it goes!!!!! NEVER!!!! EVER!!!! NEVER!!!! AGAIN, WILL I GIVE MY MONEY TO THIS PLACE, AND I GIVE 20 DOLLARS USUALLY IN TIPS!!! THAT DAY LIKE AN IDIOT, I GAVE MR ARROGANT A 5 DOLLAR TIP...AND THIS IS THE TREATMENT I GET. I came in and tried to discretely describe I had a dead toe, and needed a fake toe on my two big toe nails. They did the damn thing!!! They did my nails and toes at the same time and I don't know if they talked about me when I left but they didn't talk about me while I was there and were super nice. I left a $40 tip and I never leave tips. Next rime I'll always bring cash to tip. Side note: when I get coffin nails I usually have to describe I want them thin and flat because I do not like thick nails with humps. Went because I saw good reviews but my experience wasn't the greatest. Our pedicures were okay but once the tech started on my nails it was like I was being rushed. I showed them the picture of my nails and it came out so sloppy looking, I even noticed a smudge in the nails and when I mentioned it to the man he said "once I put clear on it will fix". But that wasn't the case, it was still smudged just with clear polish over it. My nails came out looking messy and rushed. Yay for Christmas inspired toes :) I came here with my girlfriends for pedis and had a blast. There were enough chairs for all of us to sit together. They carry most of the OPI colors which was nice because that made it pretty easy to pick out nail polish colors. I just went along with whatever the girls wanted which was a pedi that included a salt scrub and a hot towel massage. The massage felt great and she was generous with the oils and lotion. The salt scrub came next and it felt invigorating. She then gave me another massage and wrapped my legs in hot towels. Once everything was trimmed and buffed, she applied the polish and Voila! I was done. The chairs are comfortable and I liked how they were the ones with the massage option. It made the experience really enjoyable. All that for $30 which I thought was pretty reasonable. My legs and feet were thoroughly moisturized and massaged and my toe nails looked great. It's a shame I don't live anywhere near here because I would actually consider making a monthly visit :P read more
